Choosing this guesthouse in Lijiang was absolutely the right decision, I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again. The room conditions were excellent, and fresh fruit was provided. The owner was incredibly genuine, spontaneously upgraded our room for free, and even handled our transfers to and from the airport/station. We bothered the owner quite a bit throughout our stay, and he was always incredibly patient. When we were caught in heavy rain and stranded on a mountain attraction, unable to get down, the owner continuously helped us figure out a solution. In the evening, he even helped us heat up our BBQ and brought us beer. He was thoughtful and attentive throughout our entire stay, without any pretense. This guesthouse offers great value for money and is full of genuine warmth; I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang.

Setting up my home at the foot of the snowy mountains, living amidst the scenery – this hotel fulfilled all my fantasies for a snow mountain getaway. Opening the window, I was greeted by majestic snow-capped peaks, wreathed in clouds, like a fairyland. In the morning, I witnessed the golden glow of the sunrise on the mountains; in the evening, I quietly admired the sunset painting the snow. At night, I gazed up at the brilliant starry sky – every moment was so beautiful it left me speechless. The room had a wonderful texture, with warm-toned design elements incorporating Naxi style, making it both cozy and luxurious. The private hot spring tub melted away all my fatigue. The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, with meticulous service. Every day here felt slow and peaceful, accompanied by the snow mountains, healing and wonderful. It's definitely worth countless return visits!

During my time in Lijiang, this was the only hotel I was truly satisfied with. I was honestly so tired of those so-called 'owner-run' B&Bs where you pay good money but get no sense of service, feeling cramped like you're intruding in someone else's home. Hygiene: Everything was excellent. Environment: Remarkably good. Both the reception and the hotel's public areas are exceptionally spacious for the Old Town. A major plus is that it's just a five-minute walk along the main road from the parking lot. Many B&Bs in the Old Town, even those not cheap, are tucked away down winding alleys with cramped receptions and gardens. This place truly offers the facilities of a proper hotel. The garden is also beautifully maintained. All public areas are lovely, well-equipped, and there's even a play area for children. The complimentary travel photography service also had very kind staff. Service: Every staff member I encountered was excellent, from management to restaurant and front desk staff. They not only greeted me proactively but also offered enthusiastic help. I've already recommended it to all my friends planning to visit Lijiang. I hope the owner continues to have great business, and that both the pets and staff receive even better welfare and benefits.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Ancient City's Grand Water Wheel, making it very convenient for exploring the old town. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and breakfast was good too. Overall, I had a satisfying experience, especially since they even helped mail back a jacket I left behind. This hotel is a worthwhile choice when visiting Lijiang.

The rooms and public areas of this B&B are spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively assist guests with various issues, like guiding them through ticket bookings and helping with parking directions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance. In stark contrast, the public lobby at the nearby Mushanxue B&B was dirty and messy. The staff there were even playing games while talking to guests, a huge difference in service quality. Just putting this out there for other travelers to avoid a bad experience.

We booked three rooms, and all of them were upgraded to executive suites with unbeatable mountain views – highly recommend! Dinner was at the hotel, and the yak hotpot and mushroom chicken hotpot were very generous portions. Xiao Zhu's dipping sauce was excellent, a definite thumbs up. Since it started raining in the middle of the night, the air pressure dropped, and we all started to experience altitude sickness. The room ventilation had a slight flaw; the bedroom didn't have a window. The room did come with an oxygen concentrator for an additional charge, and we took turns using it among the four of us, so we didn't get much rest. Everyone's physical condition is different, so we can't blame the hotel. Overall, I still highly recommend it! 👍

We had a pleasant stay overall, with several things that really stood out. The room was extremely spacious, with two king-sized beds and plenty of room to move around. It was comfortable and gave us ample space to relax. The dining area also offered gorgeous scenery, making meals much more enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. When we discovered some hair caught in the hair trap in the bathroom when we checked in, we reported it to the front desk. They immediately arranged for housekeeping to come and clean it. We were also pleasantly surprised when the front desk later delivered a dessert to our room as a gesture of goodwill. This was a nice example of prompt and thoughtful service recovery. Another small but memorable example of the front desk team's helpfulness happened after midnight. I had an issue with the dryer and needed to open it in the middle of its cycle, but could not figure out how to do so. Although it was already past midnight, the front desk staff patiently helped me troubleshoot the problem and guided me on how to open it. Her assistance quickly resolved the issue, and I really appreciated her willingness to help despite the late hour. Another lovely touch was the warm milk delivered to our room daily. We also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea, especially the beautiful dessert designed in the shape of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. These little touches made the stay feel special. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience at the hotel was a weak point. We went for dinner at around 9pm. After the staff seated us, they disappeared, and despite the restaurant being very large, there were no other wait staff in sight. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I eventually had to go looking for someone and tell him that we wanted to order. When we asked whether using DianPing or the hotel guest discount would offer better value for a particular meal we wanted to order, the staff member was unable to advise us. We had to work out the best option ourselves. While this may seem like a small matter, I would expect restaurant staff in a hotel to be familiar with the promotions and benefits available to guests and to be able to provide basic guidance. Things did not improve much after our mushroom hotpot was served. We were essentially left to figure out how to prepare and eat the hotpot ourselves, without any explanation or assistance from the restaurant staff. Based on our experience, they appeared to lack some basic training in customer service, attentiveness and product knowledge. The issue was not that they were unfriendly; rather, they seemed somewhat clueless and undertrained, which made the dining experience unnecessarily difficult. Overall, the hotel has many strengths — a wonderfully spacious room, beautiful scenery, friendly front desk staff and thoughtful guest amenities. The service recovery from the front desk was also impressive and showed that the hotel genuinely cares about its guests. However, the restaurant service needs significant improvement. Better staff training, stronger attentiveness and greater familiarity with the menu and hotel promotions would make a big difference. With those improvements, this could be a much more enjoyable and polished hotel experience.

The Shirock Hotel is located in Yuhu Village, a small village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You need to inform the hotel in advance if you're driving into the village. First of all, the hotel's location is excellent. It's very quiet around the hotel, but about 200 meters away is Yuhu Village's main shopping street, which is very lively. There are various trendy cafes, Western restaurants, local eateries, and different stalls. You can also experience horseback riding there, giving you a feeling of prosperity within reach. Prices in Yuhu Village are exceptionally cheap; yak meat skewers are 10 yuan for three. The skewers aren't small either. For horseback riding, if you want to try it, you can ride for 10 minutes for 20 yuan, which is great for taking photos. The hotel service is also very good. Staff members wait in the parking lot in advance to help us with our luggage. From 3 PM onwards, folk singers perform at the hotel. If the weather is clear, they play and sing on the large outdoor lawn. Looking at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain while listening to folk music is very pleasant. We experienced the Naxi family visit recommended by the hotel, which cost 100 yuan per person. During the visit, the Naxi people prepared many local snacks and tea. We also experienced grinding soybeans, and the hosts made us tofu pudding and soy milk, both of which were delicious. They also taught us about Naxi hieroglyphs. You can also try on Naxi ethnic costumes at their home. _The hotel's breakfast is relatively simple but sufficient. Basic eggs, milk, coffee, rice noodles, noodles, porridge, and some bacon, fries, etc., are provided, along with toast and bread. In the morning, there's also a special 'bao bing' (wrapped pancake) activity, where children enjoy wrapping various nuts and raisins and then baking them themselves. The hotel also offers other activities, such as Yuhu Village exploration and a 'plant hunter' hike, which we unfortunately didn't have time to experience. Here, it feels like time slows down, allowing you to explore at a leisurely pace. Yuhu Village gives off a very tranquil, comfortable, and peaceful vibe. The hotel's overall environment is truly exceptional. The garden layout is elegant and serene, with beautiful scenery at every turn, creating an incredible atmosphere. The privacy is excellent, and strolling through the grounds is incredibly relaxing. Everything is meticulously maintained and clean, making it perfect for both unwinding and taking photos. I must also commend the hotel's restaurant; the food quality is top-notch, with fresh ingredients and outstanding flavors, and the service is attentive, making for a very pleasant dining experience. A special thank you to our butler, Aureliano, who provided professional and considerate service throughout our stay. He was responsive, paid close attention to details, and struck the perfect balance, ensuring all our needs were met with care, making us feel incredibly comfortable. My overall stay was impeccable, and I truly appreciate the hotel team's dedication. I will definitely prioritize staying here for my next vacation. Highly recommended!

Lijiang Jeuroufu Garden Hotel is a stunning property comprised of 31 Naxi-style buildings, gracefully arranged along a clear river that acts as its central axis. Lush greenery and vibrant flowers intertwine with the architecture, creating a picturesque scene. From a distance, it resembles a charming Naxi village nestled at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. As its name suggests, staying at Jeuroufu feels like residing in a grand garden, with the landscape design being truly delightful. Public Spaces: The hotel boasts an Iris-designed lobby and the 'Trianon' all-day dining restaurant. The restaurant's 'Crossing the Bridge Noodles' (Guoqiao Mixian) are a particularly notable specialty. The rooms are clean, tidy, and decorated in a modern, minimalist style. They are spacious, bright, and fully equipped, providing a comfortable space for rest. The complimentary afternoon tea and wide variety of fresh fruit are a lovely touch. The hotel offers free parking and is conveniently located just across the road from Shuhe Ancient Town, making it very easy to visit the town. The only drawback is the limited breakfast selection. Due to the high number of tour groups, many items were already gone by around 8 AM.
