Guest UserSetting up my home at the foot of the snowy mountains, living amidst the scenery – this hotel fulfilled all my fantasies for a snow mountain getaway. Opening the window, I was greeted by majestic snow-capped peaks, wreathed in clouds, like a fairyland. In the morning, I witnessed the golden glow of the sunrise on the mountains; in the evening, I quietly admired the sunset painting the snow. At night, I gazed up at the brilliant starry sky – every moment was so beautiful it left me speechless. The room had a wonderful texture, with warm-toned design elements incorporating Naxi style, making it both cozy and luxurious. The private hot spring tub melted away all my fatigue. The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, with meticulous service. Every day here felt slow and peaceful, accompanied by the snow mountains, healing and wonderful. It's definitely worth countless return visits!

This hotel made up 90% of my wonderful Lijiang trip – it was incredibly comfortable and the service was so thoughtful. The excellent service started right from booking; the owner added me on WeChat to ask about my arrival time and if I needed a pick-up, always replying instantly. They even helped with my luggage! The hotel is halfway up the mountain, offering stunning views of Lijiang Old Town. Whenever I wanted to go out, they'd drive me to the old town entrance, making it super convenient – a quiet escape yet close to everything. Plus, food delivery comes right to your room. The daily afternoon tea, coffee, and regular tea were all delicious, and the mini cakes and cookies were also high quality. There are 3 cats to pet, and a huge, super clear projector that was so comfy it made me not want to leave the room, haha.
⭐️ **Amenities:** It has an elevator! Floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious and bright room, with sunlight streaming in – super comfortable! There's underfloor heating, powerful air conditioning, and a humidifier. The furniture is solid and high-quality, and the bed is just the right softness with comfortable linens.
⭐️ **Hygiene:** Daily cleaning, disposable slippers in sterilized packaging, soft and clean towels, separate toilet and shower areas, and a bathtub – extremely clean!
⭐️ **Service:** Absolutely amazing, they catered to every request! They provided sightseeing tips and routes with location pins, no pushy sales, and were as warm and attentive as a good friend! Unlimited complimentary bottled water, they'd offer water and an umbrella when I left, and fresh flower cakes when I returned – they looked after me so well!
We will definitely be back.

Guest UserMy friend and I stumbled upon this hotel online, and after booking, it truly exceeded my expectations!
It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯.
🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete:
* Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter!
* Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect.
* Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing.
* 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿.
* They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋.
* The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view.
* There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸.
* When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

This was my husband's and my first trip to Lijiang, and we really wanted to stay in a guesthouse within the ancient town to fully experience its charm. However, we were a bit worried about it being too noisy at night. After comparing several options, we chose B&B House in Shuhe Ancient Town, and it turned out to be a really lucky choice; we stayed in a super satisfying guesthouse hotel.
The hotel's location is excellent, right near the North Gate of Shuhe Ancient Town. It's quiet yet conveniently located, and also very close to Jiuding Longtan.
The room isn't huge, but the facilities are complete and well-functioning: hot water, ventilation system, hairdryer, and dehumidifier all worked perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay.
The guesthouse courtyard is filled with beautiful flowers and plants everywhere, and the hotel's dining and public areas are also very pretty – I loved them. The lady who checked us in on the first day was so warm and sincere; I regret not asking for her name, but she definitely deserves a five-star rating too. She made our first stop a wonderful start to our trip. Grateful!

Guest UserFive-star recommendation for the Lijiang Kaichen Hotel! The rooms are fully equipped with smart devices, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The hotel offers comprehensive amenities like a gym and a scenic garden. It's very close to the ancient town, yet the surroundings are quiet. The service is meticulous, making our trip extra comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and all the service was enthusiastic. Definitely worth another visit!

I specifically chose this hotel for my birthday getaway, and I highly recommend it to anyone celebrating their birthday! They offer free birthday decorations and a cake 🍰. At the Lakeside Buffet, multiple birthday guests in a group can eat for free, and at Dianxiang Restaurant, you get a complimentary set of roast duck – absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻
The hotel provides free activities like pet interactions, boating, fishing, batik dyeing, and tea tasting, as well as a variety of other paid activities. The fishing was incredibly fun, even though I almost didn't catch anything, which was a bit disappointing. But hearing the excited screams from other guests nearby was still great!
The breakfast was also excellent. I'll just share one photo of the eggs – eight different varieties!!! The swimming center has a sauna and spa, but unfortunately, I didn't bring a swimsuit, which was one of my regrets.
Overall, I look forward to visiting again in the future and hope the hotel continues to improve!

The environment here is arguably the best in Lijiang. Amann is also good, but it's a bit too secluded and quiet. This InterContinental, however, is bustling with activity! Definitely worth a stay. My only suggestion is about the restaurant: there are too many menu items (SKUs). I'd recommend cutting about 70% and focusing on making the remaining 30% absolutely perfect. I hope you're open to different opinions. The environment is first-class, and the linen quality is excellent!

Guest UserThis hotel is excellent! They upgraded our room, which was perfect for two adults and two children – not cramped at all. The hotel food was also fantastic, so we didn't even need to go out looking for meals. The activities organized by the hotel were great too; the kids had a blast. Xiao Xi and Xiao Kai took the children to 'Wilderness Hunter,' which was a really meaningful experience.

This was my 12th visit to Lijiang, and this time I chose the Banyan Tree.
**The Bad:** The facilities are old and outdated. The doors on both the first and second floors are so old and worn out that they no longer close properly; you can only勉强 align them and use the chain lock. The shower water temperature fluctuates wildly, going from scalding hot to ice cold in an instant. The overall decor is dated, and the equipment is showing its age. The carpets, tables, and other furniture are all worn.
**The Good:** The excellent housekeeping auntie. She seemed to be a local ethnic minority, and she brought a small gift every day. She was honest and simple, and kept the room very clean. A definite thumbs up for her.
**The Good:** The outstanding hotel concierge, Elin Zhou. She was incredibly responsive and fulfilled every request promptly. The original pillows in the room were too soft to sleep on, and the concierge quickly sent someone to bring firmer pillows that same evening. She also arranged a complimentary airport transfer when we checked out. She messaged us daily during our stay to check in. Such an excellent employee – the hotel should definitely reward her.
**The Good:** Although the selection at the Chinese restaurant wasn't vast, the food quality was excellent. The stir-fried Naxi ******* pork was outstanding; I literally ate two plates of it.
**Overall:** The hotel offers great privacy, and the gardens are lovely. The exterior maintenance is commendable. However, it's a case of 'all that glitters is not gold' – the interior of the rooms desperately needs renovation and refurbishment. The internal facilities simply can't compare to other five-star hotels in Lijiang anymore. That unforgettable musty smell when you enter the room... ugh.

Guest UserHighly recommend this hotel! It's super close to the train station, just a 3-5 minute walk, which is perfect when you have luggage – no long hauls. It's incredibly convenient for catching early morning trains or arriving late. The hotel is relatively new, so everything feels fresh and modern, with a clean and well-maintained decor. All the amenities are well-equipped, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and friendly, making the check-in process quick and smooth. For a transit stay, this place offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose it again next time.
