"I highly recommend this place to everyone! I genuinely and sincerely recommend it. First, the guesthouse owners are incredibly enthusiastic and always actively and promptly help us solve any issues. Second, the room is truly spotless! It has a bathtub, electric curtains, and a projector. The price and experience are absolutely excellent value for money! Before booking, I saw all positive reviews and wanted to give it a try. Now I highly, highly recommend it to everyone. If we get another chance to visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again! GGuest UserSetting up my home at the foot of the snowy mountains, living amidst the scenery – this hotel fulfilled all my fantasies for a snow mountain getaway. Opening the window, I was greeted by majestic snow-capped peaks, wreathed in clouds, like a fairyland. In the morning, I witnessed the golden glow of the sunrise on the mountains; in the evening, I quietly admired the sunset painting the snow. At night, I gazed up at the brilliant starry sky – every moment was so beautiful it left me speechless. The room had a wonderful texture, with warm-toned design elements incorporating Naxi style, making it both cozy and luxurious. The private hot spring tub melted away all my fatigue. The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, with meticulous service. Every day here felt slow and peaceful, accompanied by the snow mountains, healing and wonderful. It's definitely worth countless return visits!

GGuest UserThis hotel made up 90% of my wonderful Lijiang trip – it was incredibly comfortable and the service was so thoughtful. The excellent service started right from booking; the owner added me on WeChat to ask about my arrival time and if I needed a pick-up, always replying instantly. They even helped with my luggage! The hotel is halfway up the mountain, offering stunning views of Lijiang Old Town. Whenever I wanted to go out, they'd drive me to the old town entrance, making it super convenient – a quiet escape yet close to everything. Plus, food delivery comes right to your room. The daily afternoon tea, coffee, and regular tea were all delicious, and the mini cakes and cookies were also high quality. There are 3 cats to pet, and a huge, super clear projector that was so comfy it made me not want to leave the room, haha.
⭐️ **Amenities:** It has an elevator! Floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious and bright room, with sunlight streaming in – super comfortable! There's underfloor heating, powerful air conditioning, and a humidifier. The furniture is solid and high-quality, and the bed is just the right softness with comfortable linens.
⭐️ **Hygiene:** Daily cleaning, disposable slippers in sterilized packaging, soft and clean towels, separate toilet and shower areas, and a bathtub – extremely clean!
⭐️ **Service:** Absolutely amazing, they catered to every request! They provided sightseeing tips and routes with location pins, no pushy sales, and were as warm and attentive as a good friend! Unlimited complimentary bottled water, they'd offer water and an umbrella when I left, and fresh flower cakes when I returned – they looked after me so well!
We will definitely be back.

AAnonymous UserWe had an incredibly pleasant stay at Mo Shan, with a calm and comfortable room that provided a perfect place to rest after exploring the old town. The hot spring bath was particularly relaxing and secluded terrace added a nice touch to the overall experience. Breakfast was also a highlight — the freshly prepared noodles were delicious and a great way to start the day.
What truly stood out was the level of care and attention from the hosts. They were consistently helpful, assisting with organizing and booking day trips, and even preparing takeaway breakfast for early morning departures. The availability of a self-service laundry room was also greatly appreciated during our travels.
Finally, the support with luggage — especially coordinating and helping carry it from within the old city to the taxi pick-up point — made a real difference and showed genuine attentiveness.
Overall, a thoughtful and well-managed stay, combining comfort, hospitality, and practical support for travelers.

Lisa was incredibly helpful and attentive, reaching out several days in advance via WeChat to offer assistance. My only complaint about the room was the makeup mirror – it was either too high when sitting or too low when standing, making it impossible to use comfortably for makeup. I'm not sure if they don't offer welcome fruit or if it was just forgotten, but honestly, it didn't bother me much as my schedule was too packed to notice. The food at the executive lounge was delicious, but breakfast wasn't great. It felt very safe to have staff open the side entrance late at night. Overall, I recommend it! 👍

GGuest UserThis hotel is excellent! They upgraded our room, which was perfect for two adults and two children – not cramped at all. The hotel food was also fantastic, so we didn't even need to go out looking for meals. The activities organized by the hotel were great too; the kids had a blast. Xiao Xi and Xiao Kai took the children to 'Wilderness Hunter,' which was a really meaningful experience.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches, making for a truly relaxing stay. The Cross-the-Bridge Noodles were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the afternoon tea was both visually appealing and delicious.
I have to commend Guo, the lobby manager, for his excellent service. He took wonderful care of us from check-in to check-out, always attentive, responsive, and incredibly reliable – he truly elevated our experience.
What surprised me most was the travel photography service! I've stayed at many high-end hotels and used their photography services, but only here did photographer Xu Xiao truly impress me. He genuinely puts his heart into capturing memories, rather than just going through the motions. He patiently guides your emotions, teaches you natural poses, and offers tons of professional advice based on the setting, so you never feel awkward in front of the camera. The quality of the outfits was superb, not cheap studio-style, and the photos came out sophisticated and full of stories. Looking at them fills me with happiness, perfectly preserving the beauty of this Lijiang trip!

Once inside the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area, it was a constant surprise ✨. The air was so much fresher and more comfortable than down in the city, and it gradually felt cooler – it was a race between us and the sunset to see who'd get home first! x
Initially, I planned to just rest and acclimate to the high altitude on my first night at the hotel. But after a recommendation, I joined a stargazing activity 🔭, and it was unexpectedly fun! The snow mountain had just experienced a long-awaited period of clear skies, and the sky was much cleaner than the previous days. It was my first time using a professional astronomical telescope 🔭, and I saw so many stars 💫, satellites 🛰️, and shooting stars 🌠!!!
For dinner, I tried the local specialty, yak hotpot 🍲, which seemed to be on every table. The vegetables were free-flowing, very fresh and delicious, and the mushrooms were also excellent – you could really tell the difference compared to what we ate down the mountain the next day.
Around 3 AM, I couldn't sleep, so I took a night stroll around the hotel and managed to photograph the Milky Way 🌌. It was truly beautiful.
But the most breathtaking moment was the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' (日照金山)!!! I set up my camera 📷 on the terrace, snuggled up with a small blanket, brewed a pot of the hotel's special fragrant glutinous Pu'er tea, and lay on the sofa, watching the sunlight gradually illuminate each layer of the snow mountain until it awakened the entire land. My soul was truly cleansed by this spectacle of colors 🥹. The snow mountain is just too beautiful 😇.
The breakfast mini rice noodles 🍜 and coffee ☕️ were both excellent 😌 – a comforting taste.

GGuest UserBanyan Tree Lijiang is the only choice for a stay in beautiful Lijiang! During my week-long relaxing vacation in Lijiang, Banyan Tree provided an unparalleled service experience. The hotel proactively reached out, and I had a dedicated butler, Elin, who added me on WeChat to assist me. A special driver was dispatched to pick me up at the airport in advance. Elin would actively ask daily if I needed anything, arranging for hot spring water changes, linen replacements, and room cleaning. Every evening, without disturbing us, she would come for turndown service and leave a special Banyan Tree gift. The breakfast service was also excellent, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, as well as local specialties. We could enjoy breakfast by the lake, admiring the beautiful scenery, and even feed the koi and little geese! On our last day, due to my own reasons, I checked into another hotel. When I informed Elin, the hotel thoughtfully sent a car to pick us up from the other hotel and drop us off at the airport. Thank you, Banyan Tree, for providing a warm home away from home.

GGuest UserThe room facing the street was quite quiet, which was nice. The front desk has a coffee machine, and you can ask the staff to prepare drinks for you as needed.
The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and proactively offered us travel advice. Parking allows one exit within a 24-hour period, so plan your outings accordingly.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Old Town Windmill, maybe because I walk a bit slowly, but it's definitely not just a few minutes away.
The room is equipped with smart home features, and the quality of items like tissues is quite good, showing that the owner has high standards for the amenities provided.

From the moment I arrived, Leo welcomed me with genuine warmth and professionalism. He patiently explained the hotel's amenities and facilities in detail and even personally escorted me to my room. As I do not communicate much in Chinese, I was deeply touched by the effort he made to translate our conversations and ensure that I understood everything clearly. He consistently went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and make me feel comfortable throughout my stay.
On another occasion, when I needed assistance with my charging adapter, Leo was quick to help and even provided me with the charger head I needed. It may seem like a small gesture, but it reflected his attentiveness and sincere desire to help his guests. He took the time to attend to my requests with kindness, patience, and a genuine smile, which made a lasting impression on me.
I would also like to commend Leo's team for their excellent hospitality. Their dedication and care made me feel well looked after during my entire stay.
The hotel itself is fantastic. The location is incredibly convenient, there is a McDonald's less than a five-minute walk away, and Lijiang Railway Station is directly opposite the hotel. Getting around was effortless, with most attractions accessible by Didi within 20 to 30 minutes. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and offered beautiful views that made the stay even more enjoyable.
Thank you, Leo, and the entire team, for your outstanding service and hospitality. You truly made my visit memorable, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang.
