Hotel near Baisha Old Town,Yulong
Nestled in Baisha Ancient Town at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain, this exclusive retreat blends minimalist modern design with timeless Naxi village charm. Just 800m from the millennium-old Baisha Murals and snow-capped Yulong peaks, we balance the warmth of ancient town life with the serenity of alpine landscapes. Each room is crafted for panoramic views: our Cloud & Wild Bathtub King Room lets you soak under starlight with a giant projection of the snow mountain, while floor-to-ceiling windows greet you at dawn with the golden glow of Sunlit Golden Mountain. Our 24/7 butler service ensures seamless relaxation—from private airport transfers and curated travel photography spots to complimentary laundry and childcare. Unwind at the rooftop infinity pool (ideal for postcard-perfect shots), recharge in the forest oxygen bar after a mountain hike, or gather around a bonfire under the stars. Pet-friendly and open to commercial photography, we invite you to slow down, let the wind of Baisha carry your stories to Yulong’s clouds, and embrace pure, unhurried bliss.

"The location in Baisha District wasn't as convenient as I expected. The only upside is its proximity to Snow Mountain, making it easy to get a taxi there directly. The housekeeper was decent and responded quickly, but the absence of a phone in the room was quite inconvenient. The washer/dryer combo was outdoors, which was problematic when it rained. Although breakfast was a buffet, the same dishes were served almost every day, which was a nightmare. The main staples were congee and rice noodles (and the rice noodles weren't even good...). Ordering takeout wasn't particularly cheap either. Not all room types include three nights of airport/station transfers, and the pickup cars they arranged for me smelled heavily of secondhand smoke and were driven dangerously. I felt like I was going to get altitude sickness even without it! The rooftop seems primarily set up for travel photography shoots. The photo editing skills of their partnered photographers weren't great; if you're looking for a freebie, just settle for a few free photos. The guesthouse also partnered with a tea factory for a free tea pressing experience. Overall, the guesthouse itself was okay, but some of the additional services (travel photography and transfers) weren't up to par. It's fine for a short one-night stay. There was also a small incident: the toilet was smart, but the spray position was off. When I asked the housekeeper to take a look, they told me that if I didn't know how to use it, I shouldn't use the smart flushing functions 😅. In the end, I fixed it myself, which was pretty annoying. Also, express delivery services don't deliver directly to the door here; only JD.com and SF Express can reach, which is also quite troublesome. I've attached a retouched photo with people removed; it looks fine, but it's clearly heavily post-processed. The original image was very dark."

"This hotel was a great choice! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the smart devices made our stay incredibly comfortable. Stepping out onto the balcony, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain stood majestically before us. We had hoped to witness the stunning 'golden mountain at sunrise,' but unfortunately, it was a cloudy, misty day, and the mountain was hidden by the clouds. We'll just have to save that beautiful experience for another time. The guesthouse owner was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. He helped us with our luggage and even invited us to join him for a tea ceremony. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and varied, with whole grains, fresh fruit, and local rice noodles – simple yet thoughtfully prepared."

"This stay was fantastic! The location is super easy to find, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors, and the bedding was really comfortable. The soundproofing was great too, I slept like a log. "Giving this a genuine five-star review – it's the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Lijiang this trip. The overall environment is fantastic, meticulously maintained, clean, and stylish. Staying here really helped me slow down and start enjoying the moment, rather than just rushing from place to place. The hotel has a scenic viewing platform on the third floor, and every photo taken there looks amazing. The location is also excellent; it's very close to Yuhu Village and Baisha Ancient Town, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The staff are warm, attentive, and provide an exceptional experience. And you absolutely have to try the coffee made by the owner – I have to praise them, they're truly talented! Every latte art design is stunning, and both the appearance and taste are top-notch. If I hadn't already planned my onward journey, I honestly would have loved to stay here for a few more days. I genuinely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Baisha; the experience far exceeded my expectations!"

Bear every stroke of the snow-capped mountains. The sunlight shines brightly, and the gentle breeze is harmonious. Following the rhythm of the four seasons to play the music of spring and summer. Here is the Stone Cottage of Yulong Snow Mountain. Dwelling in the wild, with the head against the snow-capped mountain, one house, one pool, one stove of tea, sitting and listening to the swaying of leaves, listening to singing and dancing, lying and savoring the starry river of the moonlit night and the sunlight on the Golden Mountain. More love for life grows naturally along with the faint moonlight.

"This hotel was recommended by a friend, and after actually staying there, I was truly blown away. I rarely, if ever, review hotels, but I wholeheartedly recommend this one. **Service:** As soon as I booked, a concierge added me on WeChat, providing hotel information and activity arrangements. They even arranged a business car for airport pickup. The service, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly attentive. One night, I felt unwell in the middle of the night and thought everyone would be off duty, but after I mentioned it in the group chat, they immediately brought me an oxygen tank. **Environment:** The hotel is located at the foot of a snowy mountain, right at the entrance of Yuhu Village, offering first-class scenery. The hotel provides shuttle services to the village whenever needed. **Food:** The cured pork ribs and free-range chicken hotpot included in the hotel package was absolutely delicious – far better than the restaurants at InterContinental or Aman. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was exquisite, and I really enjoyed that style of breakfast. There's an all-day self-service bar with drinks and fruits, and the fruits are all high quality, including my favorite passion fruit. There's also a very tasty afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed on the lawn if the weather is good. **Activities:** During our stay, we participated in horseback riding and hiking to pick pinecones and mushrooms (the hotel doesn't allow guests to eat what they pick for safety reasons). The hiking scenery was beautiful, and even my seven-year-old child completed the entire trek. In short, it was truly a perfect experience."

"Lu Ge's service was truly impeccable. We first visited Lijiang, then went to Dali, and the difference in service was immediately apparent. We even rushed back to Lijiang from Dali and stayed at Lu Ge's guesthouse again. After that, Lu Ge was the one who took us out to explore. Following him, we avoided any disappointments or problems. Whenever Lu Ge was free, he would take us out. He even ordered a cake for our friend's birthday and arranged a nice night out at a bar. We felt really bad about it. The guesthouse's beautiful environment and Lu Ge's excellent service were a perfect match, haha. Feel free to ask him any questions; he was always very patient in answering them. This trip to Lijiang was incredibly fun, but the withdrawal symptoms afterward were really strong. I highly recommend this guesthouse. Follow Lu Ge, and you won't get lost! Pictures don't lie! Also, Lu Ge's singing is really good, haha. Future travelers, listen to him sing, but don't get mesmerized! He was very patient and helpful when we went out. For example, when we girls were taking photos, Lu Ge was always there waiting to add some handsome pictures of himself. Looking forward to my next trip to Lijiang!"

Xi Xiang Yuan·Gentian Secret Realm International Resort Villa is a star-rated hotel hidden in the UNESCO heritage core area of the thousand-year-old Baisha Ancient Town, boasting the closest cultural tourism location to the ancient town's central archway, interpreting the philosophy of "retreating from the world within the city" for ultimate luxury living. Wake up to golden snow-capped mountains outside your window, and when night falls, reach out to touch the starry river. We build "time vessels" for families with children and couples, with eighteen guest rooms scattered across three independent Naxi courtyards, each with unique features: some are panoramic cloud sanctuaries facing the snow mountains, some are two-story standalone suites accommodating three generations, and some are pet-friendly lofts with private garden courtyards. The hotel's spacious indoor and outdoor areas feature underfloor heating, high-end bathroom facilities, and custom bedding, along with a fitness center, themed restaurant, café bookstore, children's playground, activity room, and tea room to meet all your vacation needs. At Xi Xiang Yuan, luxury is not just tangible facilities but intangible experiences - waking up to watch the eastern sun paint the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain gold; as dusk falls, travelers exchange stories by the bonfire while children and pets chase the evening breeze. Walk along thousand-year-old stone paths to explore the legacy of the Tea Horse Road, participate in local crop harvesting, and experience intangible cultural copperware craftsmanship. Luxury is the intimate conversations around the bonfire, the family reunions under the snow-capped mountains, and the place where weary urban souls find solace. The philosophy of Xi Xiang Yuan·Gentian Secret Realm is to create a "home" vessel that preserves precious moments with loved ones, slows down time, and reveals the true meaning of life in tranquility.

"Here's a breakdown of my experience: **Exclusive Car Service (One room, three consecutive nights stay, choose one of four: airport/station pick-up/drop-off):** Super convenient! I contacted the butler a day in advance for station drop-off. 🚗 **Butler Service:** The butlers (both male and female) were incredibly warm and welcoming. They'd greet us when we left and remind us about the day's weather and temperature – so thoughtful! A few days prior, they called to provide directions to the guesthouse and parking. They even took us on a short electric scooter ride over the old town's stone path to the courtyard. **Snow Mountain View Afternoon Tea:** The courtyard's view completely rivals outside cafes. Guests receive coffee vouchers based on their length of stay (that's my guess, based on the number we received). Spending a relaxing afternoon strolling around the courtyard and sipping coffee is incredibly pleasant ☕️. **Facilities:** The shower had plenty of hot water, the mattress was soft and comfy, and the room was super spacious 🥱. **Cleanliness:** Every afternoon, an auntie would come to ask if we needed cleaning. Towel and water changes were prompt, and she even asked if we wanted vacuuming. **Environment:** The courtyard is large with several picturesque spots perfect for photos. There's also a nightly bonfire, and sitting in a chair watching the stars was incredibly relaxing. **Service:** We could have breakfast daily, and they provided rice noodles, fruits, and vegetable salad in generous portions. The restaurant is very spacious, and since we visited during the off-season, we only saw three or four main guests each morning. It was very quiet and comfortable. There was also a complimentary photography service that I didn't get to use this time, but overall, it was already superb. The dog in the courtyard was also adorable, and I'd always check to see if it was there whenever I went to the courtyard 🐶❤️. Overall, I found no shortcomings, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.☺️☺️"

"This truly is a utopia at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The little cats in the courtyard are so well-behaved and affectionate 🐱, they'd quietly follow me as I strolled around. Looking up, I could see the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' – that moment when the golden light bathes the snow-capped peak, all worries just melt away. Backed by the snow mountain, with a view from the window, here you have freedom, tranquility, and beauty all in one place. The guesthouse's coffee and afternoon tea spot is perfect for reading and sunbathing, the sunlight creating a wonderfully lazy atmosphere. If you're looking for something more lively, there's KTV! The vibe is fantastic; my mom and I had so much fun singing our hearts out. I collect fridge magnets in every city I visit, and it's worth mentioning that you can DIY your own here using pinecones, dried flowers, branches, and kapok. It's a lovely way to etch your own unique Lijiang story into your memory. The road by the entrance is also a great spot for photos. All in all, everything here is beautiful and incredibly healing."
