"Traveling to Changsha, I was so glad I booked this hidden gem of a guesthouse on Trip.com. Its prime riverside location on a high floor offers absolutely stunning views; during the day, you see the sparkling river, and at night, the city lights across the bank. I'm a light sleeper, and before coming, I was worried about poor soundproofing in guesthouses, but my stay was completely free of noise disturbance. A special thank you to the lovely manager, Ms. Hu, for her warm and thoughtful service. She not only prepared alternative room options for me beforehand but also meticulously wrote down a list of restaurants popular with locals in the city and recommended souvenirs to take home. What really stood out was how Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng from Siman (the guesthouse name) were at the front desk practically day and night, showing immense dedication and friendliness. They even proactively helped with laundry and drying, and folded it neatly before returning it. With beautiful scenery, excellent service, and a great price, our short three-day stay at Siman added wonderful memories to our Changsha trip. Thank you to both Ms. Hu and Mr. Zeng!"

"An excellent choice for accommodation near Wuyi Square, with every aspect of my stay exceeding expectations. The location is incredibly convenient, being so close to Wuyi Square means no long commutes for sightseeing. The room boasts a tasteful Chinese-style decor, featuring wood finishes paired with oriental aesthetic accents. The panoramic river view is breathtakingly expansive; I could enjoy the Xiang River sunset and the night views without even leaving the room. The room hygiene was impeccable, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable, allowing for a great rest after a day of exploring. It offers great value for money, and I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Changsha."

"Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. The pros are its convenient location, about 200 meters from the subway station. Although it's in an office building, there are four low-zone elevators, so waiting isn't usually an issue. The room card works for the downstairs access, or security can swipe you in. A 'Snack Kingdom' store is right across the street and always busy. The bed firmness was just right. The smart toilet didn't have a bidet function, but the shower pressure was good, and the water temperature was fine. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but the quality was decent; enough to fill up, and the noodles were a must-try. The main drawback was in our twin/double room, there was a large pillar that took up about 4-5 square meters, blocking half of the curtain wall's natural light, making the room quite dim. This was mainly due to insufficient lighting from the light strips. More importantly, the air conditioning wasn't very effective. On the first day, we checked in at 2 PM with the panel set to 22℃, but by evening, the room panel showed 26℃. Even with the AC running continuously for three days, it wouldn't cool down. Changsha gets quite hot, so the hotel really needs to look into this AC issue; I suspect the main unit's temperature setting is too high to control energy consumption. Also, the bathroom and main room had a slatted partition you could see through, which isn't ideal if you're staying with older children."

"Haha, I'm back to relax, and this time I stayed in a suite. The room was huge and super comfy, perfect for a nice soak in the tub – they even had pink bath bombs, which was a lovely touch after a day of shopping. The service, as always, was excellent. It's so convenient for shopping, close to all the popular spots. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm around."

"The location is incredibly convenient, right next to Exit 2 of Line 1. We could walk to Huangxing Square. The room was very clean, and the disposable toiletries were replenished promptly. They even gave us a complimentary air freshener when we checked out! 😎"
