"The entire resort consists of 1-2 story buildings, giving it a real vacation vibe away from the bustling city. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. You do have to be patient with the slower service, like dishes being served, which is common in the Philippines, but then again, we were there to enjoy a 'slow-paced life.' If you want your room cleaned quickly, you'll need to call the front desk specifically, otherwise, it typically won't be done until after 3 PM."

"We had a great stay that perfectly suited our purpose 😊 We rented kayaks from a nearby beach and went fishing. The accommodation had cooking utensils and a kitchen, so we were able to cook and eat. It was delicious. Other than that, the facilities were fine, there was a pool, and it was very comfortable."

"From our arrival to the end of our stay the hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was clean, however the air-con temperature setting could not be controlled by the remote control or on the machine itself. It was set to 24 all the time. Bathroom was adequate too. The restaurant had two areas, indoor and outdoor, both brilliant to see the sun rise in the morning. Food was great! The massage chair was an extra treat. An elevator would be great to help guests going up floors especially for seniors and those who have knee problems as the hotel has 3 floors and the stairs are quite steep with each step. The swimming pool was cool but lacked extra deck chairs due to space restrictions."

"A wonderful hotel nestled in the jungle mountains, with stunning valley views and a wonderful pool. A wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy solitude in nature. The property boasts well-kept green grounds, meticulously maintained and cared for, and small but cozy villas. Reasonably priced drinks and à la carte dishes, as well as spa services. The à la carte breakfasts are very generous, offering a wide selection of both European and local Filipino breakfasts. One issue that caused a hitch upon check-in: hotel staff began inspecting our grocery bags, which contained some snacks, drinks, and a bottle of champagne. It turned out that the hotel has its own rules, which are not disclosed in advance and are not included in the hotel description at the time of booking. The gist is that the hotel charges a commission for each bottle of alcohol, drinks, and food brought to your room. In my many years of traveling, I've never encountered such rules, and it was perplexing. Why can't I eat and drink whatever I want in my room?! Yes, I order food and drinks from the menu at the pool and in the restaurant, but why can't I have my own glass of champagne in my room in the evening? The options on the hotel menu either don't match the grape variety, or the bar simply doesn't have the wines listed. Ultimately, the hotel staff accommodatingly waived any fees for bringing in outside food and drinks, for which we have our respect and gratitude. However, it's important that guests are aware of these hotel rules in advance when booking and either agree to them or choose other hotels for their vacation. The overall rating for the hotel was not reduced due to this misunderstanding, as the situation was resolved immediately and did not affect our future stay at this excellent hotel."

"The hotel is located on a private island. Getting there isn't too difficult, but all the main attractions (sardines, sharks, canyoneering) are quite a distance away. This hotel seems to have been designed for guests who don't want to leave it – a small 'Bounty island' vibe. But it didn't quite hit the mark. The staff here are constantly smiling. As soon as they see you, they drop what they're doing to greet you. During meals, they approach you every minute to ask questions and tell you about the free 'entertainment' planned for the day. Honestly, it's annoying and doesn't match the status the hotel clearly aims for. In a good hotel, staff are incredibly helpful yet discreet. Here, they can't even clean the room without being noticed. However, you can tell they've been trained this way, rather than it being their natural work style. So, if they were trained differently, these young people would significantly improve the service quality. Also, don't expect quick responses or help from anyone. It's better to go directly to reception and sort things out yourself. That's the most effective way, otherwise, you might drown in a Kafkaesque castle with a British surrealist twist. The room we stayed in was magnificent in terms of size and cleanliness. The shower wasn't working well, but they replaced it quickly. When walking around the room, the wardrobe wobbles and makes noise, but these are minor issues. I noticed signs of wood-boring insects in the safe cabinet, but didn't see the insects themselves, so they didn't cause any trouble. Food. The food here is very poor, compared to all the other places I've visited in the Philippines. A hotel aiming for a high rating shouldn't be serving microwaved store-bought pizza at such a price. If the food is cooked properly (grilled chicken breast, for example), it's invariably oversalted or overspiced. Or both at once. I couldn't find a single dish on the menu that was worth its price or genuinely tasty, except perhaps for the scrambled eggs at breakfast. But that's not enough if you plan to stay on the island all day, is it? Snorkeling costs 1000 pesos per hour for the boat and 100-200 pesos for equipment (each item separate: mask, fins, aqua shoes). The hotel staff claim the equipment is new, but that's not true. Aqua shoes are essentially unavailable in adult sizes (from 40 and up, we found only two old and torn pairs). The coral reef is dying after the typhoon, but there are still beautiful spots, and my wife and I don't regret snorkeling here. Especially since it was the only activity available on the island. To sum up, this hotel might suit those who want to isolate themselves from the rest of the world for a resort-style vacation with an average level of service but rather high prices for that level."
