Hotels with Parking in Kinta

First, the location and the stay is amazing. It was really beautiful and relaxing. The staff and service there made it better. They were so friendly and professional. The only downside is the mosquitoes over there 😅

For the price, I think it is a reasonable option.  However objectively: 1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking.  The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about.  To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.  2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews.  However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.  3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both.  They only cleaned 1.  I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.  4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.  5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.  6. The staff were helpful and friendly.  Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).  7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible.  It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.  All in all, it was a decent stay.  Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained. 

I really enjoyed I really like this hotel The environment ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended! The hostel is very clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. For only RM99 per night, it's definitely worth it. My family and I really enjoyed our stay, and everyone loved it. Will definitely come back again! 😊✨

I booked the Superior Queen room but when I checked in, they informed me the room type was fully booked and they wanted to give 3 pax room, free upgrade but I declined because I did not like to stay in a bigger room alone. So, I told the FO to give me any room for 2 pax which Deluxe Queen room with the river view. During night time it was a bit scary since the window was facing big trees. The room was clean and comfortable. WIFI speed and connection was good. The hotel had a parking lot in the basement but was quite limited. For breakfast, just okay for me. It was the view, that made it a good breakfast time. Nevertheless, for business travelers, I do recommend this hotel to stay.

The hotel is conveniently located near Ipoh's city center, just a 10-minute walk away. Ipoh Railway Station is also only 20 minutes from the hotel. You'll find one of Ipoh's few chain fast-food restaurants right nearby. Ipoh's Old Town isn't very large, and many businesses there are closed. However, this hotel made me decide to extend my stay and truly discover the extraordinary hidden gems of this city. Looking forward to my next visit!

The rooms was awesome. Can see The Lost World of Tambun from the balcony. The cooking utensils is provided but no cooking allowed. The Hot Spring pool is great and kids enjoy it. Location is central to go to most places within 15 to 20 mins drive. McDonald’s and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are nearby. Overall we really enjoy it....

Upon arrival the 2 contact details provided don't respond and it's really annoying and disappointing. 1 contact go into voicemail box and another will never pick up the call which somehow give you the impression of the host is not reliable(Attached conversation without reply) The property manager or agent that host these property really need to be more professional. The unit is full of new paintings and the smell cause lots of discomfort(Attached the toilet door with new paint) The bidet or sprinkler is broken and the water is scattered around and cause our clothes and toilet paper all wet!!!(Attached photo broken bidet) They don't install ventilation fan on the toilet and when you open the window for air circulation your neighbors could see you.Their intentions is very clear which is they don't bother the comfort of the guest(Attached photo of when open up the toilet window for ventilation the upper floor could see through hence no privacy while shower.You shower with window close and its felt suffocating after a while!!!) As Ipoh is famous for eateries to our surprise when we packed our supper home the utensils is really disappointing.The host barely provides you any plates and utensils.Maybe just 4 cups 4 plates as if anything extra will cause them a million dollars investment.You can't find extra waste plastic bags or toilet paper.They simply being too calculative and don't provide any extra even you are using it to keep their unit clean at least if you provide me with extra waste plastic bags we could pack our waste and keep it clean and hygiene instead. Each room only 2 towels for shower and no pools towel provided.Very inconsiderate!!! The worst part is they will sent you a check out instructions 6am in the morning to wake you up!!! If you having a peak booking on our check out date you may sent a reminder for checkout but please not at 6am in the morning !!! I think Trip.Com should check on your agent quality and set a minimum standards.The property host is really disappointed we don't have time to waste so we just put up with it and write a review after check out.

The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather. Service: While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Amenities: One of the standout features of The Cove Hillside is the range of amenities. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights, great for staying in shape. There’s also a barbecue area that can be reserved for gatherings, which adds a nice touch for family or group stays. Plus, the complex is gated with 24-hour security, so I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.

The location is good, nearby to the eateries and easy accessible. There is also ample food parking inside and outside the place. Contactless check in and checkout as well. The only thing is there is some humid smell in the house, after open the window and get some fresh air, it’s good.

Worth the price you pay! Great location, just beside the highway. Everything is clean, aircond was functioning well, the room is nice. It’s just that the small fridge is not functioning and the water pressure is kinda slow. But I don’t really mind. The front desk was also nice. I will reconsider staying at this hotel again for a short staycation.
