Wwind0329Right out of the East Exit of the station, turn right and it's just a few minutes' walk. The bus stop is also at the East Exit, surrounded by malls and restaurants, making it super convenient. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and even helped me call to resolve an issue I had at their Miyazaki branch. The room was relatively spacious, and there's free coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast was also good. While other branches only start breakfast at 6:30 AM, here you can grab coffee and pastries from 6:00 AM, which is really convenient for travelers catching early trains. Toyoko Inn is always my first choice in Japan – great location, excellent service, good breakfast, and affordable prices. I'll definitely choose Toyoko Inn again in the future.

GGuest UserNice cosy hotel. Very clean and easy to check in. Convenience store just across the road. 5 mins drive to a major shopping mall. Has a small stove to cook and kitchen. But really small and dark though.
Otherwise room is very cosy and fits four of us well. Bathroom is clean and nice. Washer in the room too.
I can jog to kumamoto castle which is nearby.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located very close to near to the train station with AEON Mall just across the road. The hotel also provides sufficient parking space for guests. We appreciated the hospitality and professional services provided by the hotel staff. For the American breakfast, it’s yummy with various drinks. The hotel also provides free welcome drinks starting at 1600 hrs for guests. In terms of cost effectiveness, it’s ranked highest.

ヨヨシエさんI traveled around Kumamoto Prefecture by car. The hotel offered excellent parking facilities, and the staff were incredibly friendly, providing useful local information. From check-in to check-out, the front desk handled everything smoothly and courteously, making it a truly dependable hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. While the view from the window wasn't anything special, the quality of the hotel's services more than made up for it. The complimentary drink service after using the hot spring and the curry rice were absolutely perfect. This is definitely a place I'd love to revisit.

小小苏苏Parking was quite a hassle, not enough spots. However, it's super close to all the attractions, within walking distance. I needed an extra blanket at night, but guests have to go to the front desk to get one themselves. No room service.

JJiangchuanmaijiuPros: Great location, super close to Sakuramachi bus terminal, making transfers really convenient. The front desk staff were also excellent. When I asked about sending my luggage to my next hotel, they took my next hotel reservation, handled everything themselves – contacting the next hotel and even filling out the shipping form for me.
Cons: The facilities are quite old. The water boiler is just a small stainless steel cup that you heat up – it's tiny and seems unsafe, I can't understand why they haven't upgraded it. Breakfast was also mediocre; all the fruit was canned.

RRoman.KusI think it was the biggest disappointment so far. The hotel is fine if you stay for one night. But more — I doubt it. For example, it is mandatory to leave at 10:00 even if you stay for more than one night. You can pay 1500 yen, but it literally gives you nothing. You can’t use sauna and sento. You received no additional service or amenities. Even sleeping is hard — the staff changes sheets. Next, people actually live in this capsule hotel. It means they get up very early, loud, alarm clocks, etc. Finally, the locker room is super tiny. There is little space. No benches. Definitely will not stay again.
Good sides — the staff is polite, and you can store your luggage at the counter. Actually, you must, but people still carry their luggage upstairs.

My only minor critique is that the location isn't the most convenient, but despite that, I found the overall experience to be very satisfactory.

MMandyMandyLCMThis is a self-drive tour, thinking that it would be okay to stay farther away in a hot spring hotel, so I chose this one. It's a very old hotel, but it's acceptable for the price. The room was large, very clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Front desk only an uncle reception, amiable attitude, give you the key to your own room, check-in outdoor hot spring maintenance only indoor, because the location is remote only saw two or three residents, stay three days and two nights, the next day towels at the door to change, back when only given a set There was an outdoor hot tub, but no way out for repairs.
