A very nice hotel with great facilities. It has a public bath, and there is also a washing machine available (chargeable), so you’ll need to prepare 100-yen coins — about 600 yen for 2 hours. They offer free coffee, which is a nice touch. The breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety of local Japanese dishes. I especially enjoyed the tamagoyaki (玉子烧) — I had quite a lot of it, hehe. The tatami-style room is very comfortable. It’s also convenient to buy snacks or instant noodles/ramen and enjoy them in the room. Overall, it was a really pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Amazing location and top notch cleanliness. Helpful staff and good range of facilities provided! Appreciate the clean fitness center that allow us to workout after eating so much good food in Kumamoto!

This hotel is conveniently located right next to Kumamoto Station, just to the right of the exit. There's a tram stop nearby with direct access to Kumamoto Castle and shopping centers. In the mornings, you can catch the Aso Boy train from here for a trip to the volcano. There's also a mall on the ground floor of the hotel, making shopping and transportation incredibly convenient.

The hotel's location is fantastic – right next to Kumamoto Station! There's a covered walkway directly from the station to the hotel entrance. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, it's connected to Amu Plaza, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby. If you're planning to visit Kamishikimi Kumanoza, you can just walk from the hotel to bus stop #7 at Kumamoto Station and catch the 9:11 AM bus to Nobeoka, which stops at Takamori. On the way back, just wait at Takamori Station for the 3:00 PM bus to Kumamoto Station. It was a really convenient and stress-free trip. We stayed for two nights and easily managed to visit all the places we wanted to see.

Right next to the train station, with a shopping mall downstairs. The hotel facilities are new, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The hot spring bath access is a huge bonus! Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at THE BLOSSOM Kumamoto and it was easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Japan. The location is unbeatable — it’s directly connected to JR Kumamoto Station and sits above a shopping mall, which made everything incredibly convenient, from transport to dining and shopping. The hotel itself feels very modern and well-designed. The lobby and common areas are spacious and stylish, and the rooms are surprisingly roomy by Japanese standards. Everything was spotless, and the layout (especially the separate shower and toilet areas) made the stay very comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the public bath (onsen). It’s clean, relaxing, and perfect after a long day of exploring. The hotel also offers great facilities overall, and you can tell everything is still quite new and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service really added to the overall experience. Overall, THE BLOSSOM Kumamoto is a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and modern design. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kumamoto.
