ZZaixiaputilaozuTo be honest, this hotel is located right above the bus station, which is super convenient. You can easily walk to Kumamoto Castle, and shopping and dining in Kumamoto are also within easy walking distance. It's especially time-saving if your next destination is Kagoshima or Hitoyoshi, as Japan's infrastructure has been a bit disappointing lately – the railway is still damaged from a flood and hasn't been repaired, so you have to take a bus! To get to JR Kumamoto Station, it's just three or four stops by tram. A crucial tip: you can't use Tokyo/Osaka IC cards on Kumamoto buses, but you can use them on the trams! 😇😇😇

MM.Sim007Fantastic new hotel! We took a 37sm corner room, large for japan standard Breakfast soread is good and delicious. Hotel beds are also the best so.far (for tjis 10days trup Kyushu) location is ver central, food plentiful..only issue we had is carpark (due to the central location and probably due to Golden Week,), no parking anywhere near the hotel and ended up waiting for more than an hr to park at Times parking which cost 3600 yen till next day. Overall, we highly recommend this hote.l

Wwind0329Right out of the East Exit of the station, turn right and it's just a few minutes' walk. The bus stop is also at the East Exit, surrounded by malls and restaurants, making it super convenient. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and even helped me call to resolve an issue I had at their Miyazaki branch. The room was relatively spacious, and there's free coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast was also good. While other branches only start breakfast at 6:30 AM, here you can grab coffee and pastries from 6:00 AM, which is really convenient for travelers catching early trains. Toyoko Inn is always my first choice in Japan – great location, excellent service, good breakfast, and affordable prices. I'll definitely choose Toyoko Inn again in the future.

GGuest UserThe room was new and the service was good. You absolutely must try the complimentary 60-minute hot spring bath; although it's a large public bath, the environment is very comfortable. The location is a 3-minute walk from Suizen-ji Temple and about a 17-minute taxi ride from Kumamoto Castle. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious.

SSoraChSuperb location! The room and bathroom are massive—way bigger than your typical business hotel. Breakfast was solid, and I got a lucky room with a view of Kumamoto Castle! Just a heads-up though: if you’re driving, it’s a hassle. You have to park in a separate building a block away.

Eez62Although they have a private carpark by side of the hotel, there was a parking fee charge of 2,000yen. But you're guaranteed a parking spot if you come back later at night.
There are more parking lots in the multi storey carpark by side of the hotel. The hotel is very clean and I think it's relatively new. The front desk reception was very friendly n helpful.
They also have a guest lounge on the ground floor next to the reception. Free flow of coffee and soft drinks plus some alcohol choices like sparkling wine. The lounge is open to hotel guests from 3pm to 11pm. They also provide coffee to go.
The first 2 pictures is the view from our room. Across the highway from the hotel there's a Daisy & an Aeon supermarket. Very convenient to grab some food n light groceries. It's a good location to be in. I'll definitely be coming back to this hotel.

It's conveniently situated near a bustling shopping street, with numerous restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity. The rooms are equipped with modern facilities, including a small sofa and a dining table. A taxi to Kumamoto Castle costs about 900 JPY. The hotel's prime location makes it incredibly convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and dining.

LLei，taoOverall, a fantastic stay! I really appreciated the complimentary drinks and the spacious bathtub in the room. The service was excellent, and I'll definitely be returning for another visit. My only minor critique is that the location isn't the most convenient, but despite that, I found the overall experience to be very satisfactory.
