MM53565****The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from Hakodate Morning Market and less than 10 minutes on foot from the station. It's also diagonally opposite the Lucky Pierrot restaurant near the station. The facilities are standard Toyoko Inn quality, and the room size is typical. Breakfast is a buffet, featuring local specialties like salted squid, which I personally didn't quite get used to.

11391891****The room was quite large for its size in Japan, clean and tidy, with good service and a great location, close to the morning market and JR station. The room was fully equipped with kitchenware, making for a pleasant experience. Convenience stores and restaurants are readily available nearby.

GGuest UserFantastic City Center Stay with Relaxing Onsen My recent stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. The location couldn’t be better – perfectly situated in the bustling city center, with major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation just a short walk away. It made exploring the city effortless and convenient. The on-site hot spring was a real treat: clean, spacious, and with perfectly warm water that melted away all stress. Soaking there after a day out was pure bliss and true relaxation. The room was impeccably clean, modern, and comfortable, with quality bedding and all necessary amenities. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. What impressed me most was the staff – everyone was genuinely polite, friendly, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. This hotel offers the ideal mix of prime location, soothing facilities, spotless rooms, and warm hospitality. A wonderful experience I’d highly recommend!

KKhooI really love this hotel. It has a kitchenette and very nice bathroom. Very Near to the morning market and near to our favourite burger joint, Lucky Pierot! Although room is abit small, it was cosy. No cupboards! Very minimalist hotel.

MM245877****When I booked and saw how spacious the room was and how reasonable the price was, I was a bit suspicious that there might be some hidden issues, but there weren't any at all. I stayed for three nights and was really, really satisfied with this hotel. Just having a twin room of 22 square meters that easily fits two large suitcases and still allows free movement in the room is a bit of a luxury in Japan... The hygiene was also good, the heating worked well, and the room offered a distant view of Hakodate Bay. If you have the time and budget to have breakfast at the hotel, you absolutely must try it here. If purchased separately, it's 2800 yen per person, but the breakfast-included plans on booking websites are more cost-effective. You can choose from a variety of seafood to make your own seafood rice bowl, the shrimp tempura is also great, and there are various simmered dishes, local specialties, and a great selection of desserts. The staff in the breakfast area were also very friendly. It's truly amazing value for money! The hotel is very close to the Jujigai tram station, making it convenient for walking tours or catching public transport. The only inconvenience I experienced was that the room's Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak and often disconnected.

MM1377****Let's start with the room: The room was incredibly cramped, like a shoebox. There was absolutely no space for a large suitcase, and anyone weighing over 80kg would find it difficult to even turn around. This was completely inconsistent with the 20.9 square meters advertised on Ctrip. Regarding the hotel's price: I paid a price that could afford a stay at a Banyan Tree resort in China, but what I got felt more like a school dormitory. The standard was far below 3-star, akin to a budget motel. I booked a twin room, only to be informed it was for single occupancy. To add a 15-year-old child, they demanded an absurd extra charge of 16,300 JPY – a complete rip-off! There are many other hotel options available right outside Hakodate Station. This place is genuinely a scam. The front desk staff were also unprofessional; they even tried to overcharge us for breakfast. Finally, the facilities: Bottled drinking water was not provided in the room. Guests had to take a communal carafe to another floor to get water. There was a dryer available, but it was pay-per-use and didn't seem cheap. In summary, I will absolutely never stay here again when visiting Hakodate, nor would I recommend it to other Chinese travelers.

MmaxhooA traditional Japanese-style hot spring. The rooms have tatami mats and the old-fashioned key-operated lock and key system. The service was excellent. We checked in quite late, and the receptionist, an elderly gentleman, provided a detailed explanation of the hotel's facilities and services. He escorted us to our room, opened the door with a key, and explained the room's amenities. Very dedicated. The facilities are quite comprehensive. The hot springs are on the 4th and 7th floors, with men's and women's sessions rotating in the morning and evening. The 4th floor has an indoor sea view, and the 7th floor has an outdoor bath. The location isn't in the heart of Hakodate; it's situated in an area with many hot spring resorts and bathhouses, but there are fewer restaurants nearby. The hotel's own convenience store is on the 1st floor, open until 10 PM, and has a wide selection of items.

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel for a special stay for our Christmas Day abroad and it did not disappoint. The rooms are cozy, spacious and quiet with very comfy beds. We appreciated the entry way with the closet and shoe rack. We also appreciated the shower with great pressure, the large sink counter and the Japanese style toilet. There was also a good amount of toiletries provided. We had Japanese style pajamas, slippers for the room, sandals to go around the hotel in and even slippers specifically for the toilet area. The room has a large TV and you can connect to it with an HDMI cable or screencast but we could not figure out how to screencast. The hotel primarily caters to Japanese so the important stuff was in English but the little things like the remote control and temperature control were not. We booked our stay with the buffet dinner and breakfast and for our stay it seems that all the greatest hits for Japanese cuisine were out. For dinner they had a steak grilling station, a BBQ scallop station, a sushi chef, crab dumplings and all kinds of accompaniments. For the dessert they had an array of tasty sweets but we enjoyed the macarons and Hokkaido ice cream the most. The breakfast was equally fantastic with a miso soup station, all kinds of sashimi, black pork dumplings, fried chicken and all kinds of crowd pleasers. There is a juice station and a coffee machine that makes all kinds of drinks so we were very pleased with the meals. We appreciated the plates and small dishes that allowed for small portions so we could pretty much try everything. Some items at the buffet did run out and these were specifically the small dishes - it is worth going early for breakfast and dinner because some items are not replenished and I found quite a few of these very delicious! There isn't much around the hotel other than a 7-11 and a small botanical garden across the bridge but it is definitely a hotel meant to stay in and enjoy. We went to the onsen at night and in the morning and really enjoyed the outdoor bath which was sea facing. At night you could hear the waves and see the stars and during the day you could enjoy the beach and mountain view. The onsen baths have a variety of temperature pools and saunas and good bath products. There is a machine that dispenses a few pop flavours, cold tea and mineral water in the change room. There was a variety of self care products available in the change rooms as well like toothbrushes and razors. Our room was very cozy after our bath and we found that the temperature for the hotel was possibly centrally controlled and not adjustable according to Google translation. It was set at a balmy 24 but we did figure out how to turn it off and got a comfortable night's rest. I wasn't a big fan of the hard toothbrushes that were provided mainly because the toothbrush used a coating rather than toothpaste which makes them truly single use. The hotel offers quite a few amenities outside of the onsen area but the onsen was the highlight for us. They have a lounge area with lots of seats looking out to the sea near the front desk, a separate restaurant from the buffet restaurant, a souvenir shop that sells drinks too and luggage storage. We aren't sure if there are multiple floors with laundry machines but the one laundry room we did find only had one machine so this might not be a hotel to do your laundry at. The hotel is easily accessible from both the train station and airport. From the train station you can take a bus or the tram which would take about 30 minutes and from the airport there are some dedicated busses that will take about 15 minutes. The bus station and tram station closest to the hotel is Yunokawa Onsen. This was a great stay for us and we felt one night here was perfect. There is a lot to see in Hakodate and had we stayed longer we would have chosen a more economical option but this truly was a special treat for us.

MM474639****I highly, highly recommend this hotel! It's located near Goryokaku Park, easily accessible by tram from JR Hakodate Station. This area is quite central, with museums, shopping malls, and plenty of great food options nearby – there's even a super delicious soup curry place! A Lawson and 7-Eleven are less than a minute away, and it's also close to Yunokawa Onsen. I recommend this hotel for a couple of reasons. First, the room was exceptionally clean and spacious. I stayed in a king-size room by myself, and it felt more than ample; I could easily fit several suitcases without an issue. Second, the staff's service attitude was excellent – very polite and courteous. I had a meeting in the morning and requested that the cleaning staff not disturb me during that time. Throughout my stay, no one ever knocked on my door; they quietly cleaned the adjacent rooms. Later, when I returned from sightseeing in the evening, I found a bag of fresh toiletries hanging on my door! I was so touched! They were considerate enough not to disturb me by knocking, yet also made sure I had new bathroom supplies. I was deeply impressed by the hotel's service and thoughtful consideration! This was truly the most satisfying hotel experience of my Hokkaido trip. The price was reasonable, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were warm and polite. Next time I visit Hakodate, I'm booking this hotel directly.

エゾシカ伝道師The staff at the inn were warm and moderate, and I was very comfortable. While there were many non-smoking rooms, the companion who was a smoker was very happy. In addition, the correspondence of the odor remaining in the room is also firm, and I think it can be comfortable. It's a hot spring, but you can get the power of the source. It is a hot spring of great satisfaction! I want to enter again ♪
