"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right across the road from the Hakodate JR Station exit, on the right-hand side. Since it's a Conan-themed hotel, there's a bus hub right outside, making it super convenient to get to Mount Hakodate and Goryokaku. There's also a drugstore to the right as you enter the hotel. Check-in was quick and easy. The room isn't huge, but there's enough space for two 26-inch suitcases. It's cozy, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and odor-free. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, and you can even make your own seafood bowl. Hakodate Morning Market is just a short walk from the hotel, and if you stroll along the coast for about fifteen minutes, you'll reach the Red Brick Warehouses. You can even catch the sunset there in the evening!"

Worth a stay to experience Another 10 mins walking distance to the Red Brick House 🏠 for awesome retail shopping spree 🛒🛍️ to buy the local 🇯🇵 Hokkaido delights & savour local cuisine. The Hakodate Morning Market is right across the street with succulent fresh king crab affair feast awaiting 👑 🦀. A must visit destination for all in Sapporo not to be missed 🐙🦀🪼🦞🐠🦐🐳"

"You can reach the hotel by taking a bus from the station to the left of the airport exit. The bus to Horaicho costs 700 JPY and conveniently drops you right at the hotel entrance. You can also take a bus from the hotel to the airport, though services are less frequent, so you'll need to check the schedule carefully. The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both Jujigai and Horaicho tram stations, and within walking distance of the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses. The room was spacious, perfect for one person, with enough space to open my suitcase. It came with a fridge for food, and instant tea and coffee, but no complimentary water, so I had to buy some from a convenience store. The bedding was comfortable, and while the pillow was a bit firm, it was still okay. I didn't find any bed bugs, and the bathroom was clean. Housekeeping isn't daily; a full clean is done every three or four days. On other days, you need to leave towels to be replaced and trash outside your door by 10 AM. Breakfast was plentiful and satisfying every day. It's a buffet with a wide variety of options, including freshly prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the pork rice bowl. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, but please note that entry stops at 9:30 AM. The lobby offers complimentary drinks from 3 PM to 10 PM. The Hakodate milk and yogurt were delicious. Alcoholic beverages were also available, but I don't drink. Near the elevators, you'll find pajamas, toothbrushes, razors, facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion available for guests to take as needed. There's also a laundry room and microwave on the first floor (and seemingly an ice maker), but I didn't use them. The service was excellent. Even though there was a language barrier, the staff tried very hard to explain things clearly to me. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Stayed here for 3 nights. It was comfortable and clean. The onsen bath was great but crowded during peak hours. The facial products are Kose which is great, hair dryer can be improved though. Location is convenient and walkable being just beside the JR station."

"The hotel is conveniently located, literally about 5 minutes from the station, which is great if you are travelling with luggage. The room had the basic essentials, and the area is surrounded by many restaurants. However, for the price, I expected more. The room for two people was extremely small: basically just a bed, a very narrow table with almost no usable space, one chair, and a fridge. The space under the bed for suitcases is a smart idea, but it does not really solve the problem, as there is simply nowhere comfortable to sit or spend time in the room. Another thing I found strange was that there was a Bible and The Book of Mormon in the room. At first, I thought previous guests had left them behind, so I went downstairs to ask, and was told that this was official hotel literature. I found this confusing and unnecessary. A charger was also provided, but it was not clearly marked as a hotel item, so at first I thought it had been left behind by another guest and that the room had not been cleaned properly. The hotel provides various disposable amenities, but surprisingly there were no toothbrushes. Overall, the experience was not great. The location is convenient, but the room size, check-in experience, and some strange details made the stay disappointing."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect, being conveniently situated right within the JR station. The room was spacious and offered a great view, and the public bath was a lovely way to relax. I also appreciated the unique ”pillow corner” where you can choose your preferred pillow for a better night's sleep. One helpful tip for future guests: if you have any requests or queries, it is much easier to go to the front desk in person. The staff are wonderful, but most do not speak English, which can make it difficult to communicate effectively over the hotel phone."

"- microwave and washing machine in the room(recommended to buy Hakodate milk and heat it up using microwave, make your own milktea using free tea bag from hotel) - great location, right beside hakodate morning market - there is a Hot spring bath with sea view - free coffee and a comfortable lounge with sea view - unpleasant check-in experience, one of the staff is impatient - No bottled water provided in the room. Check-in experience was a bit unpleasant when we arrived earlier (we knew we were early and weren’t requesting for early check-in). One of the male staff was quite unfriendly and kept repeating “no early check-in” when we were just asking whether we could store our luggage before check-in. He seemed quite impatient throughout. However, the rest of the staff were good, and even lent us a knife and cutting board to cut the melon we bought. Location is great, right beside the morning market, and only about a 7-minute walk to the JR station. We came during spring so the walk was totally fine."

"A bit distance to walk from station. Even if u take a tram, still walk a small distance. Because is winter time, I have hard time walking the icy water. Hotel is good, Very big room, nice. Very spacious. Can leave my luggage open on floor completely. Got a window but CANNOT open. Upon entering room, there is a special cupboard to put down staff. Shown in photo, where my luggage is. Oven is stated at certain floor, vending machine and laundry all at different floor. Lobby has a lot thing to pass time, since it's raining and snow at the same time. But I can't read Japanese comic."

"They carried my luggage to the room before check-in, which was a nice touch. While the exterior looks good, the interior feels dated. The room is small. There's no air conditioning, just a panel heater-like unit. It's centrally controlled, and during this time of year (late May), it's set to cooling mode. The sink and shower have separate hot and cold taps, making temperature adjustment a hassle. The hot water gets dangerously hot. It's inconvenient not having a light switch by the bed. There are curtains on the window, but no sheer ones. Given its proximity to the station and low price, it offers good value for money."

"Location of hotel is quite good. Need to walk 15 minutes from Hakodate Station. Hotel breakfast provided in Japanese restaurant is fantastically good. Rich variety of local Japanese food. Service provided by hotel was bad n needed to be improved: (1) Check in to hotel is strictly starts at 3pm, which is vy late. Most Japan hotel checks in at 2pm n allows earlier check in. Customers needed to wait n queue up in long line to check in. Hotel is not flexible n has no alternative plans to open up check in earlier even though long queues of people are waiting for 3pm. Long queue is blocking the hotel lobby reception too. Worst is that there are a few staffs sitting at reception counter not doing anything to accommodate to crowded waiting at counter. Vy poor service provided by hotel front office reception. (2) Same thing as waiting in long queue for daily breakfast. Waiting time is too long. Will need the staff to take one by one customer to respective table. There's only one staff taking charge. Will need to upgrade the service by adding one or two more staff to be on duty at the counter."
