I have to say, this hotel is the absolute most convenient, no need to worry about rain or snow. It's right behind the 7-Eleven after you exit JR Hakodate. There's an indoor connecting corridor, and you can even go to the top floor for a bath – definitely the number one hotel in Hakodate. Plus, they have triple rooms suitable for families 👍. Breakfast features handmade sushi, and there are even crab legs, definitely worth the price 😋.

Our room faced Mount Hakodate, offering a distant view of the morning market and cruise ships at sea. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a microwave and laundry room downstairs, and a public bath and lounge upstairs – truly everything you could need. The only minor drawback is that the blackout curtains in the room let in a bit too much light. I'd suggest replacing them with full blackout curtains, as the sunlight in Hakodate can be quite strong.

Pros: 1. Unbeatable Location: Extremely convenient! Just a 1-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station and 1 minute to the Hakodate Morning Market. 2. Compact yet Functional Room: Although the room is on the smaller side (16 sqm), the layout is very well-designed, so it didn't feel cramped at all. 3. Smooth Service: Fast and hassle-free check-in and check-out process. We opted for a 2-hour late check-out for an additional 2,000 JPY, which was totally worth it. Cons: Elevator Congestion: The only real downside during our stay was the heavy elevator congestion during morning peak hours (08:30–10:30). If you are heading out during this time, make sure to budget a little extra waiting time!

Enjoyed their public bath so much!! Free Coffee and tea at their lounge daily. Easy accessible to anywhere! Spoiled with their pillow choices at the pillow corner. Amazing buffet breakfast spread

Right next to the JR station, so it's super convenient for getting around. I think we got a room upgrade because it was incredibly spacious. You can choose your own pillow in the lobby (but they run out if you're late). The large public bath and lounge on the top floor were fantastic.

This is a true 'train view' room! The hotel is located directly above the JR station. The second picture shows how close the JR entrance is from the hotel lobby. After exiting the JR ticket gate, look for 7-Eleven; there's a JR Inn sign right by its entrance. It's a one-minute walk. It's also super convenient to take the bus or walk to Hakodate Morning Market, reachable within five minutes.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect, being conveniently situated right within the JR station. The room was spacious and offered a great view, and the public bath was a lovely way to relax. I also appreciated the unique "pillow corner" where you can choose your preferred pillow for a better night's sleep. One helpful tip for future guests: if you have any requests or queries, it is much easier to go to the front desk in person. The staff are wonderful, but most do not speak English, which can make it difficult to communicate effectively over the hotel phone.
