BuhuifeidexiaoxianxianA very satisfying trip. The hotel's location is superb, and the breakfast is plentiful. Eva from the Executive Lounge was very thoughtful; seeing that we were traveling with a child, she proactively offered children's amenities.

Guest UserThe Sheraton Zhuhai truly lives up to its reputation as a high-quality five-star hotel. The decor is luxurious and grand, and the guest rooms offer stunning views of the Macau sea. Whether it's the dazzling nightscape over the ocean or the expansive sea views in the morning, I'm always captivated by it every time I visit.
Overall, my stay was excellent, with only a minor hiccup during check-in. Thankfully, Kiki at the front desk provided thoughtful and attentive service. She carefully helped me sort things out and proactively upgraded me to a sea-view room with a superb view. She was very perceptive to guests' needs and even gifted me a welcome fruit platter and cake. Her attention to detail was exceptional; she was warm, polite, responsive, and highly professional. You could truly feel her genuine care for guests, and I sincerely appreciate Kiki's dedication.
Next time I'm in Zhuhai, this outstanding Sheraton five-star hotel will still be my top choice.

Guest UserI was very satisfied with my stay this time! The hotel is beautiful, with distinctive Lingnan decor. The lobby faces the sea directly, and you can see Sun and Moon Bay right outside. The photography studio, Xiaowan Travel Photography, was very professional and took great pictures. Our butler, Sini, added us on WeChat during check-in and provided excellent service throughout our stay. She helped us book restaurants, arranged room cleaning, and breakfast. She's a fantastic butler! I will definitely come back to stay with my family on our next vacation!

Guest UserAfter comparing several options, we settled on the Chimelong Penguin Hotel in Zhuhai. Our experience met expectations. The hotel's overall decor leans towards a warm, family-friendly style, with penguin elements adorning the lobby and corridors. The kids absolutely loved it. Housekeeping was prompt; mirrors and tabletops were spotless. Walking through the hotel, I felt incredibly relaxed. Our concierge was reliable, and communication for any requests after check-in was straightforward. They were great at offering helpful suggestions from a guest's perspective. The room's cleanliness was exceptional; tabletops and floors were perfectly clean. The beds were comfortable, providing a great space to rest after a full day at the park. A complete set of children's toiletries was provided in the room, a small detail that significantly lightened our packing burden for traveling with kids. The Emperor Penguin Buffet was an unforgettable experience of this trip. Watching the penguins while dining was incredibly therapeutic, and the overall dining atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. There was a wide selection of food, with ample hot dishes, noodles, fruits, and desserts. Replenishment was consistent, ensuring everyone in the family found something they liked. The hotel's public areas were continuously kept tidy, with cleaners regularly maintaining them. It was perfect for taking a stroll and relaxing with the kids during breaks from our activities, helping to ease travel fatigue. Getting to and from Ocean Kingdom was convenient and didn't consume much energy. The hotel staff were all polite and gentle, providing diligent assistance with any inquiries. Our entire vacation stay was comfortable. Overall, it felt steady and reliable, making it highly suitable for family travelers. If you're planning a trip to Chimelong, this hotel should be a top consideration.

TengkaizhouThe location is truly excellent. It's only a 50-meter walk to the elevator that takes you directly to the Hengqin Port.
When I checked in, the front desk gentleman was very enthusiastic and patient. He even came to the door to show me the route to the port for the next day.
The room view was also quite good, with large windows offering an unobstructed view.
However, there were a few minor flaws:
1. One side of the bed didn't have a nightstand. It was only about 10 centimeters from the window, so when I slept, I had to put my glasses and phone in the gap on the floor, which was very inconvenient.
2. The attitude of the front desk staff who answered subsequent calls was a stark contrast to the gentleman who checked me in. If his service was a 10, the later staff would only be a 6.
3. Food deliveries weren't brought up by a robot; I had to go down and pick them up myself. This is quite surprising for a hotel of this star rating.
Overall, the good still outweighs the bad, and it was a relatively good stay.

Guest UserMarriott quality is always reliable. Hotel parking is free, and the front desk always has water for guests. I didn't have time to try the pool, but my sister enjoyed the afternoon tea. It's located very close to attractions like Love Post Office, Lighthouse, Fisher Girl Statue, and Jingshan Park. It would be great to ride the colorful and multi-person bikes if the weather wasn't so hot, but unfortunately, it was. The facilities are complete and clean, especially the sliding door design in the bathroom, which makes the space feel very open and bright – I even want to adopt it for my own home. It truly makes the room feel much more spacious.

Guest UserSeriously stumbled upon a hidden gem! The overall decor is simple yet stylish, and the space is generous and doesn't feel cramped. Each room offers great privacy. The cleanliness is meticulously done, with every corner spotless. Facilities are comprehensive, making the stay as comfortable as being at home. The host is straightforward and communicative, making the check-in process simple and hassle-free. All sorts of dining, drinking, and entertainment options are available nearby, so the location is a big plus. My friends and I had a wonderfully comfortable stay, and the overall experience was fantastic. Definitely recommend it, and I'll book again if I have the chance to return.

Yyy1cantI had a sudden business trip to Guangzhou and, after it was over, I decided to visit Zhuhai. I've always heard that St. Regis is known for its service, and Zhuhai St. Regis is supposedly the pinnacle of St. Regis in China. So, I specifically booked it. This was my first time staying at a St. Regis hotel (I usually stay at other luxury hotels like Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, and Rosewood). Let me start with the conclusion: it's beautiful, but the service is just a facade.
When checking in, the greeter at the door was very enthusiastic, taking our luggage and escorting us to the lobby for check-in. The staff member was very beautiful (no other meaning intended) and kept a smile on her face the whole time, speaking softly and gently. This was definitely a big plus for the service, something they do better than most luxury hotels (frankly, they don't seem to have that 'work fatigue' vibe). The hotel has an extremely European style, a stark contrast to the Rosewood I stayed at in Guangzhou yesterday. The entire hotel exudes a gilded-age beauty, reminiscent of an economic boom, and it echoes the Macau across the river. The hollowed-out atrium is a stunning design. I've stayed in countless hotels, but only a handful have a similar design (like Tomson InterContinental Shanghai, InterContinental Hangzhou, etc.). St. Regis is bolder in its use of lighting and color, opting for this golden-brown hue, which made me feel like I traveled back to 1990s Europe. It truly embodies 'old money' in its bones. Entering the room, the same European style continued. My name was displayed on the TV (a nice touch). I was very happy that the TV came with two Bose speakers (reportedly a six-figure set online). The sound quality was mind-blowing, much better than any other hotel speakers I've encountered 😆. I had booked a bubble bath that day, which is a signature St. Regis feature. After a day of exploring, a bubble bath is truly a chill experience. The thing I was most, most, most happy about was that during check-in, the front desk asked if we smoked. St. Regis has special smoking floors, something I haven't seen in most luxury hotels. St. Regis thoughtfully considered this 🥰.
Now for the downsides. First, the inefficiency. The hotel only had two (or three?) front desk agents for check-in. The staff led me to the lobby, where I sat for twenty minutes before it was 'my turn' to check in, even though the lobby was empty at the time, with at most five people checking in. This level of inefficiency is unacceptable! Second, St. Regis's renowned 'butler service.' Before check-in, there was no phone call, no prior inquiry about room preferences, and no one added me on WeChat. During check-in, no one offered water; I even had to ask, 'Don't you have water here?' and 'Doesn't your butler service add guests on WeChat?' before they brought out water and the hotel's WeChat QR code. I even had to get the water myself and add WeChat myself. Everything felt so 'improvised,' which made me quite unhappy. It reminded me of an online joke: 'She's like Siri, answers every question but never initiates a conversation.' For St. Regis, a brand specializing in butler service, this aspect was completely subpar. Third, I'm not one of those 'Marriott members begging for upgrades' as some online suggest. However, I've stayed at so many Marriott properties—Ritz-Carlton Nanjing, Suzhou, Xi'an, Haikou; W Suzhou—and depending on room availability, they've always proactively upgraded my room without me even asking. Even a standard Marriott property like Shenzhen Kaisa Marriott, which isn't considered luxury, would upgrade me to a suite if available. But St. Regis? Nothing. No suite, no little rabbit amenity, no welcome gift. Nothing. From what I know, it was off-peak season, and many rooms were vacant. And the cost of a welcome gift and a little rabbit should be very, very low, right? They simply didn't prepare anything, leaving me feeling unvalued.
At the price I paid for my stay, around 1,000 RMB (during peak season it's about 1,500-2,000 RMB), Zhuhai St. Regis isn't expensive, but it's above a typical Marriott five-star. Price-wise, it barely touches the threshold of luxury hotels. However, the St. Regis brand itself is definitely positioned as luxury. If we talk about value for money, Zhuhai St. Regis is undoubtedly perfect. Its exquisite European aesthetics, combined with decent service and top-tier hardware, make it almost unrivaled among five-star hotels in the 1,000 RMB range. The problem, however, lies in the name 'St. Regis.' Luxury hotels don't talk about value for money; they talk about service attitude and standards. By luxury hotel service standards, Zhuhai St. Regis doesn't live up to the St. Regis brand. (As an aside, my studio is in Suzhou, and I often staycation at Niccolo Suzhou. Like Zhuhai St. Regis, it's a high-rise hotel, and the price is also around 1,000 RMB. The reason I go often is simple: the service attitude is excellent, far exceeding what you'd expect for that price point. Their Director of Rooms once said something that struck me: 'In mainland China, there's no shortage of luxury hotels—Marriott, InterContinental, various GHA luxury hotels. These luxury hotels simply have different styles, and their hardware has pretty much reached its peak. In such a situation, it all comes down to service attitude.') And the service at Zhuhai St. Regis undoubtedly left me unsatisfied.
Overall, the hardware, style, and design of Zhuhai St. Regis are undoubtedly top-notch. However, the service level (especially for a brand that emphasizes service) wasn't good enough. The butler service I had so eagerly anticipated fell short. If the hotel happens to see my review, I hope you'll strengthen staff training and strive to solidify the golden reputation of St. Regis. I hope my next stay brings an even greater surprise and shows me more meticulous and amazing improvements.

KekeaiaiTraveling to Macao and Zhuhai with kids, I chose the La Mecca Hotel mainly because of its proximity to the Gongbei Port, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. When I moved the bedside table upon check-in, I found some food waste left behind by a previous guest underneath it. It was in a hidden spot, so I don't blame the housekeeping staff at all; I completely understand.
After reporting it to the front desk, the front desk manager responded very quickly and offered a solution immediately. When we returned from dinner, the room had already been re-cleaned. The efficiency was impressive, definitely a thumbs up! 👍
The buffet breakfast on the second floor was decent. During breakfast, I wanted a banana, but it wasn't available at the counter. After mentioning it to a handsome young man in a black suit who was working there, he immediately went into the kitchen to check and quickly brought me one. The service experience was excellent.
A small suggestion: I hope the hotel can discuss with their supplier to replace the coffee machines. The current machines lack basic coffee functions like Cappuccino and Latte.
If I visit Zhuhai again, La Mecca Hotel will still be my top choice!
