Service: Bringing my family to Quanzhou and choosing Orange Crystal was such a great decision! The front desk service was gentle and thoughtful, and they even prepared little gifts for the children. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast included local specialty snacks, and housekeeping was prompt whenever called. They were also patient and detailed with our travel inquiries. The whole family had a comfortable stay; it's definitely our top choice for family trips!

Wanran is a charming Minsu homestay nestled in a beautifully preserved 100-year-old house, surrounded by a walkable neighborhood filled with heritage shophouses, cozy cafes, local eateries, and even a shopping mall. It’s the perfect balance of old-world charm and modern convenience. This family-run homestay — hosted by a lovely couple and their two children — offers a genuine and welcoming experience. The guest room is a renovated part of the old home: clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. Beyond the nostalgic architecture, what makes this place truly special is the tea room. It’s a hidden gem filled with rare and high-quality teas sourced from various regions. Guests are warmly invited to sit, sip, and chat — not just about tea, but also about culture, stories, and everyday life. Even as a foreigner with only basic Chinese skills, I felt completely at ease spending time in the tea room, exchanging thoughts with the host. Language wasn’t a barrier at all — tea became our shared language. This was my first time staying in a tea house, and it left me with beautiful memories. If you're looking for something authentic, relaxing, and deeply rooted in local life and tea culture, Wanran is a must.

Everything about our stay was very satisfying. They have a parking lot with EV charging, the room was on a high floor so no dampness, it was clean and hygienic, and there's a little robot that delivers takeaways right to your room. The view from the window was also quite beautiful. This is definitely a hotel I'd visit again.

I came to this hotel for a vacation during the National Day holiday. The room was spacious and the bathroom facilities were great. Lily Hu was very meticulous and made the check-in process smooth. It was also very heartwarming that they arranged a delicious cake for my birthday during the National Day period. They were responsive to all my requests, and it was convenient to find food and transportation nearby. The cleaning lady on the 21st floor was also very kind, diligent, and always ready to help. The soundproofing in the room at night was good, so my sleep wasn't disturbed. It was a very comfortable stay, and I will recommend it to my friends!

Hotel located near Quanzhou Jinjiang airport, so it is highly recommended if you are catching an early flight. Quanzhou traffic is relatively ”unstable” hence staying near airport will provide peace of mind. Traveling to Quanzhou city for sightseeing takes about 12-15km, which can takes up to 50mins from hotel location depending on traffic situation. Personally feels that hotel counter service staff should be trained more on hospitality when receiving guests.

The hotel environment is elegant and clean, the staff are gentle and attentive, toiletries are complete, and the soundproofing is good, allowing for a very peaceful rest. It's also convenient for getting around. Highly recommended!

I booked this hotel for my family; the location is excellent and convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and it's only a ten-minute taxi ride to the airport. Although there aren't many reviews, I figured a four-star hotel wouldn't be too bad. It was renovated in 2024, and service is what you expect from a four-star hotel. It certainly didn't disappoint. They proactively upgraded us to a family room, which was very clean, and the front desk service was excellent. My family was very satisfied and gave it rave reviews. It's great value for money; staying at a four-star hotel for this price is definitely worthwhile. I would definitely stay here again next time I travel.

The taxi drop-off is along the main road, but it is just a short walk away from the hotel. There is a big signage for easy identification. The night market is just a short walk away, and has a wide range of food and snacks. A deposit would be collected during the check-in process at the front counter, the process was relatively smooth. Conversed in mandarin so there wasn't any language barrier. Cigarette smell is strong in the corridors and walkways. The walls in the room are not very clean, with visible stains. There's a gap when the toilet door is closed. Bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable. Towels were sealed. Water temperature and amount are not consistent, sometimes it would get either super hot or super cold. Bathroom is relatively big and clean, but there is no wet / dry separation. Fits the price paid, we only stayed one night due to a transit flight.

After further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing. Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items. Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.

The sea view room has a large space, the price is very high, the living is quite comfortable, the road downstairs is the sea, the hotel is convenient for parking, there is a charging pile, the intersection downstairs is a bit noisy, the room is a bit old.
