We were truly impressed by our stay. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very well taken care of. The view was absolutely breathtaking — the bridge view was stunning both day and night. The room was spotless and very comfortable. If we ever have the chance to return, this will definitely be our first choice again.

The ancient town lived up to expectations. My overall experience this time in the ancient town was great. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. They patiently answered all my questions about directions and recommended local delicious food, and even proactively offered tips for sightseeing. It made me feel very much at home and made exploring so much more pleasant.

Coming to Fenghuang Ancient Town, this guesthouse was a wonderful surprise! Even though there are some steps to walk down from the road to get to the guesthouse, the owner was incredibly thoughtful and主动helped carry our luggage. Plus, they even have an elevator in the courtyard, which is super convenient for families with elderly members or young kids. The common area on the first floor offers a fantastic open view. Sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea, enjoying the breeze, and gazing at the Tuo River in the distance, I felt completely relaxed.

What a nice experience. The room was exquisite. We loved the terrace. The seats were very comfortable and we had a great view. Cherry on top we could see a fantastic show at night. We could also enjoy the sight of the dragon boat at night. Bare in mind that there is no pickup from the train station. But you can take the subway and they'll come and pick you up. If your party counts 4 members, I recommend taking a cab or a didi (just like the hotel recommended us). That said, we were given free rides to visit the city. They can also arrange a car for you to visit other sites (paying service). We had huge and high quality towels as well as disposable hand towels. The toilet was a washlet like the ones we have in Japan. The hotel was very clean. Unfortunately, they were some remodeling going on on the first floor when we stayed there and the smell of the solvent was unpleasant. They did not have enough sitting to accommodate proper sitting for everyone but we took our breakfast up to our private terrace and enjoyed it very much. The breakfast is a set breakfast. We could choose between 2 types of Chinese breakfast. I can't say that I loved the breakfast but it was nice. You can arrange it with many sauces, condiments and plenty of fresh chives and cilantro. You can even ask for seconds. The butler was very kind and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff as a matter of fact. They also have a washing machine that you can use for free but you have to take care of the drying yourself. My family and I got sick from a previous food intoxication and we were happy that we stayed in such a nice hotel. Fenghuang old city is very festive so it can get noisy at night but the terrace's windows are of very good quality, therefore it did not bother us much. It is possible that you can hear your neighbors though. All in all, despite being sick we had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We were happily surprised to receive a farewell gift. We definitely recommend the place and we go back to this hotel without hesitation.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the high-speed train station's shuttle bus stop to the scenic area. It's about 300-400 meters walk to the scenic spot, and there are various restaurants and supermarkets along the street. The breakfast buffet in the morning was quite rich. After checking out, the hotel even gave us two bags of local snack specialties. Overall, it was a very good experience and a wonderful memory.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Location was about 15 min walk (depending on how fast you walk) to the main action along the river. Room was spacious and well equipped but could use some maintenance and extra cleaning in the bathroom -- dirty walls, flickering lights, moldy shower non-slip mat, almost empty mismatched shower supplies and hard water stains on the faucets. The soaking tub on the outdoor balcony was dirty (not surprised since it is outdoors, but did not seem like it had been cleaned in a while). Why do I need two garbage cans beside the toilet? Would not stay again on account of cleanliness.

Tucked away in a quiet spot, yet super close to the ancient city. The owner was incredibly welcoming, even upgraded our room and included breakfast! The noodles the breakfast lady made were really good too. They had the AC on for us before we arrived, which was a lifesaver for us northerners who get cold easily, and it worked perfectly. The facilities were complete, and the bedding was super comfy. The service was absolutely impeccable!

Huge thanks to the lovely lady who checked me in; she was so kind and helpful. The room itself was really comfortable, spacious, and thankfully, had no strange smells. The bedding was incredibly cozy, and the pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

The facilities in the room are very average, but it is located in a small scenic area within the scenic area, which saves the 50 yuan entrance fee per person. The night view from there is very beautiful at night. It is recommended not to bring a suitcase, but just pack some clothes and necessities, because the room is on the mountain and it is inconvenient to carry too many things.

Being centrally located, it's super convenient for sightseeing. They offer a diverse breakfast in the morning, and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a lovely high tea by the riverside, just sitting and taking in the view. Downstairs, there's a cozy bar that offers a unique 'day coffee, night drinks' experience, which I absolutely loved. You can leisurely sip coffee during the day and unwind with a drink in the evening, all while enjoying the river view – it's incredibly relaxing. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly thorough, taking care of every little detail. It’s a one-stop-shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment, offering great value for money. Staying here for my trip to Fenghuang was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place again if I come back!
