Fenghuang Best River View Hotel

This guesthouse is absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. Its high-up location offers breathtaking panoramic views of Fenghuang Ancient City, which is simply stunning. The ground floor has a huge leisure area where you can sit in the courtyard, enjoy the breeze, sip some tea, and gaze at the distant Tuojiang River and Wanning Tower. It feels like time just slows down. They have several beautiful and gentle cats that are incredibly friendly, making it a paradise for cat lovers. Cuddling with the cats and taking photos on the balcony was so therapeutic. Highly satisfied!

The B&B is right on the edge of the ancient town, and taxis can drop you off directly downstairs, so you don't have to drag your luggage up and down the slopes inside the town. Although you have to climb dozens of steps to get into the courtyard, thankfully, the B&B has an elevator, making it super convenient to go up and down. What's most stunning is the view here – from the courtyard or your room's balcony, you get a 270-degree panoramic view of the entire Fenghuang Ancient Town. The night view, especially, with the dazzling lights reflecting in the Tuojiang River, is so beautiful it's hard to look away.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a huge shout-out to the incredibly warm and friendly owner! From the moment we booked, she proactively called us to give detailed directions on how to get there and even waited for us by the roadside to pick us up. Knowing we had elderly family with us, she also kindly helped us carry our large suitcases upstairs, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was spotless, the duvet smelled wonderfully fresh, and she even thoughtfully provided some snacks for our journey. Although the front desk isn't 24/7, the owner wears many hats and provides exceptionally thorough service that makes you feel completely at ease. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Fenghuang!

This guesthouse in Fenghuang Ancient Town is in a fantastic location, right at the highest point of the old town, but thankfully not near the noisy bar street. The views are great, and it's nice and quiet. The room was quite spacious and even had a balcony. There's an elevator in the building, and you're right by Wanming Pagoda when you step out, making it super convenient to explore the ancient town. The owner's service was excellent too; they even helped us plan our sightseeing route. The only downside is that the parking lot is really far away, and you have to pay for it yourself.

I compared over a dozen B&Bs in Fenghuang Ancient Town, and this one absolutely has the best location in the entire city! It offers a unique panoramic view of the whole ancient town, with no buildings obstructing the view. From the room balcony or courtyard, you can fully overlook the entire Tuojiang River and the stilt houses of the ancient town. Hongqiao Bridge and Wanning Pagoda are right within reach – it's definitely the top choice for sightseeing in Fenghuang Ancient Town! This is the only B&B in town with an unobstructed panoramic view; the location is superb. The rooms are spacious and grand, and the cleanliness is impeccable. All the facilities in the room are well-maintained and functional. After enjoying the complete night view of Tuojiang Ancient Town, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, and I loved the electric toilet! The guesthouse's location is perfect, and our room had a balcony with a beautiful view of Fenghuang Ancient Town. The owner speaks excellent English, which is a real plus, as some foreign guests stay here too. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.

The first thing that really impressed me was the accessibility. Most guesthouses in the old town require you to drag your luggage quite a long way over cobblestone streets, but not this one. You can drive right up to the guesthouse entrance, making luggage handling super easy and stress-free, especially if you're traveling with elderly family members or children. It saved us a lot of hassle.

The B&B is very close to Wanming Tower, so you can walk to see the Tuojiang River night view, and the scenic view is excellent. The room was clean, with no dust on the furniture or windowsills, and the bathroom was dry and odor-free. The host was very welcoming and recommended local snacks. The courtyard is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, making it very comfortable to relax after exploring the ancient town.
