Qichi Yijiaren River-view Hostel

When I arrived the hotel (owner I think?) helped me bring my luggage down the cobble staircase. The staff helped me again when leaving to bring it back up and grab a taxi. The location is amazing and the view from the room is beautiful. The room actually looked more spacious in person than in the photos. There isn’t really soundproofing so it was a bit difficult to sleep at night. Bugs also make it into the room easily. I found a spider in my luggage. It was a cute small spider, though. Unfortunately the town flooded quite badly during my stay. I will have to come back next time and would definitely stay here again!

We took a taxi from the railway station to Fenghuang Ancient Town, as we discovered that DiDi was not available in the area. Showing the driver “风桥 (Fengqiao)” helped identify the correct drop-off point. The journey took approximately 15–20 minutes and cost around 25–26 yuan. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff at the entrance to the ancient town. The hotel was located just a few steps away, making the transfer very convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. One of the highlights was the balcony overlooking the river, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful scenery and soak in the unique atmosphere of Fenghuang Ancient Town without even leaving the room. The combination of the excellent location, scenic river views, and attentive hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fenghuang Ancient Town.

The hotel is perfectly located for all main visit point. You can also watch the river show from the balcony. What made our stay even more special was the service. They met us on the street and helped us with our luggage. The service couldn’t have been better. The owner was super sweet and attentive to all our needs. She made us feel right at home and even gifted us some ginger candy

The room is facing the river. We can see the bride dance from our balcony. Two double beds..spacious. Very accommodating.we had a great time in Fenghuang. The hotel is not far from boat station. There are lots of shop and halal restaurants about 900m from the hotel by foot.

This is a wonderful hotel! It's located in the center of the ancient city. The view from the balcony is stunning. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere. The girls at the reception and the main lady are always happy to help you with anything you need. They arranged a transfer from the train station and found a driver to take us to the hotel. We then arranged for the driver to take us to Tongren Airport the next day. A little about the driver: Reliability, good attitude, quick response, and a reasonable price for the service. About the room: Very beautiful interior and design. Clean and snow-white bed linens, soft pillows, and comfortable beds. Good plumbing in the bathroom. There are rubber slippers. The shower has good water pressure and excellent towels. Hotels in the ancient city usually provide disposable towels, but this hotel had regular, good towels. I was very happy about this. 😊 The tea area and balcony access are separate, aesthetic spaces for enjoying the atmosphere of the ancient city and immersing yourself in the culture. A tip for travelers with sensitive hearing: stay out late and enjoy the night views, and use earplugs before bed. The hotel is located in the center of the ancient city, so be aware that there are many cafes nearby with loud music—an integral part of the evening atmosphere. Our room was on the 4th floor. There is no elevator, like many hotels located on both sides of the river. This is a unique and exclusive feature of this place. We knew about this, and it wasn't a problem for us. I recommend this hotel!

I took Maglev from station to Fenghuang town. Alight at Dengdai station and take yellow bus (free) to 豹子湾。Lady boss picked up and helped me with luggage to the accommodation. It is in an alley and not impressive but wow! Location is perfect ! Fenghuang has 3 parts - 上， 中，下流。 This accommodation is at middle and fully accessible to everywhere on Fenghuang town! Add them to Wechat and help is always a message away. Helpful and friendly. Lady boss gave me a map and suggested how to spend my 2 days. Perfect stay in ancient town !
