"Based on my recent stay, my ratings and experiences are: Room: Room can accomodate 4 adults as they have two double beds which occupied most of the spaces leaving very little space to move around. They have given a small wall fan which doesn't provide enough air to the either edges of the beds. Bathroom is even claustrophobic, towel hangers are just at the side of the toilet!! Only good thing is the fantastic view of the tea garden from the balcony. At a price point of Rs. 8000 per night this is a serious waste of money for this compact room. Rating: 2/5 Resturant: They serve quality breakfast with variety which is complimentary. Lunch and dinner needs to be pre-ordered and overall good except the vegetarian items. They seems to be having a common oily gravy for most of the vegetarian options and even after informing they didn't improved. Rating: 3/5 Staffs: Very much polite and courteous. Rating: 4/5 Campus: They do have a tea garden which one can go inside. It will be a pleasant experience for sure. Rating: 5/5 Overall from value for money perspective: 2/5. Didn't liked the room for that price point. It is not a homestay at all but a semi hotel. Road to the hotel is quite bad. I had a leg injury and had to stay back otherwise would have left before."

Accord Highland Hotel Ooty

"We had a great stay at the Highland Resort Ooty. The rooms were spacious and have great view. There are lot of fun activities. They provided complimentary high tea in the evening. Staff behavior is polite and welcoming. Restaurant food is also good. A buggy/cart service from the reception to the gate may be good. Also elevator/lift may be helpful for both guests and service personnel."

"Pros: * Great view ! * Polite staff. Cons: * Room is basic. * Erratic and slow room service. * Half of items in room service menu unavailable. * Room service staff don't seem informed. Once, 15 mins. after order was taken, room service called to say some items were unavailable. * 'Cold drinks' are served at room temperature. Apparently they don't store in fridge unless requested beforehand. * We found a spider in the bathroom. * TV wasn't working when we checked in."
