Teanest by Nature Resorts

We stayed at tea nest for couple of nights and it was a memorable stay. We had booked Silver Tips room and it was decent size, freshly renovated room. If one is looking for a very calm and scenic place away from hustle and noise of city but not very secluded place at the same time, this property is heaven for them. It is such a lovely place that we did not feel like going anywhere else in coonoor and just stayed there the whole time. Things which I liked most are: 1. Newly renovated rooms with fresh interior and clean bathrooms. Smart TV and good Wifi connectivity. 2. Mouth watering freshly cooked food. We are vegetarians so can only provide feedback about that. Buffet breakfast is limited but unlike other resorts, anything you try, it will be tasty so no complains. 3. Staff: Very welcoming and polite staff. Always smiling faces and they keep checking if we need anything. 4. Location: Its in middle of tea estate and lush green mountains all around the property. They provide complementary visit to tea estate in the evening and nature walk in the morning. One should never miss that. Mr. Azad, the naturist is very humble and knowledgeable. He made sure that I get some good clicks of various endemic birds and malabar squirrels. Dec-March is peak season if one likes birds watching. Only con I feel is there are wild animals like Indian bison and leopards in the vicinity so its unsafe to venture outside the property after sunset. Apart from that everything about this place is perfect. We wanted to extend our stay but its was completely sold out. We are definitely going back to this place but for longer duration.

Nestled in the lap of nature, Tea Nest Annexe offers a panoramic view of the valley. A quaint and cosy property that can accomodate two families it gives you a sense of independence and freedom not easily available in resort properties. The rooms are large and comfortable with modern amenities of wifi and dth. The hospitality and service offered by Murali and Afzal is exceptional. Drona serves you sumptuous and tasty food as per your choice. A bonus for guests is 'Panther' the little bundle of joy, a kitten who can keep you entertained through out your stay. For the nature lovers, the sheer variety of flowers and bird species makes it worth the visit. Best wishes to the team that ***ages the property.

One of our best stays ever! The location of the hotel is amazing and the view is wonderful. The staff is really nice and polite. The food is amazing and well prepared. The hotel is situated between tea gardens which makes it very unique. Overall very good stay.

As the name suggests, the teanest annexe is a kind of a nest in heart of tea plantation property. The hotel is beautifully located in a heart of nature. The quality of service, food taste, room ambiance, hygiene is excellent. staff's behaviour is very friendly and approachable. I must thanks to my friends Murali and Rohan, ***ager Afzal and chef Durai for their services during my stay. Lastly,cat named panther was a special attraction. A must visit place for family and honeymooners. Thank you.

Beautiful cosy little place in the middle ofvactea estate ,rooms are small but comfy. Oct weather was chilly ,but summer months might be uncomfortable as therooms don't have ac. Decent bf spread,even the Ala carte food options r good . Parking available

I booked this place on a whimp. Literally the quickest resort booking ever. I had fallen in love with the pics! and I was so right. This is a beautiful resort located in the most beautiful tree plantation. Neat rooms,cordial and helpful staff, great food and overall enjoyable stay! The surroundings are a treat to sore eyes and one can't resist but stay put within the resort and skip sight seeing! their cafe is straight out of a story book: a glass house with quaint décor! if we return, will always stay here! One small suggestion is to please improve the variety and taste of tea available. Given the name, that is a obvious expectation, Alas, it was bit disappointing. Overall, one of the most prettiest and well maintained places we have stayed at within India!

The pillows are the fluffiest I have ever felt.. a very cordial staff and excellent meals plan... A very supportive kitchen team.. njoid a lot.. love to visit again... Rooms were thoroughly cleaned.. 24 hrs warm n cold water.. beautiful tea plantations and amazing bird chirping..

The stay is good and pleasant, location is very good and calm located in middle of singara tea estate. Food is very good and staff also. The tea estate walk was very informative and morning birdwatching was very good and can spot ***y birds of Nilgiri

This old style hotel was a welcome change from the modern concrete constructions elsewhere on my Indian tour. it was very comfortable and the cooking excellent. The tea tasting was very informative although I doubt if I will be drinking Silver Tips tea anytime soon. The excursion to the Dolphin Nose view point is spectacular. However if you go at a weekend set off early. From the volume of traffic we saw on the way back I could imagine total gridlock once the limited car park at the end was full. I then went on to Coonor which was similarly gridlocked so stood my driver down and walked to Sims park a well kept mature park with some fascinating trees. As I was leaving to catch the Ooty train, over an hour before breakfast on my second morning, the kitchen staff came running out with a warm breakfast snack in foil. Taking good care right throughout my stay.
