Solid rooms like you would find at any other budget hotel in India. The location is very good, less than a minute walk from the bus station and on the edge of town so that all restaurants are within reach and yet, on a hill facing away from the hustle and bustle. What disappointed us are the amenities. The listing said "air conditioning," but in reality, this costs ₹ 500 extra and is currently broken and unavailable anyway. The owner served with help and advice, e.g. by arranging an early morning taxi to Mudumalai for ₹ 1300, a very fair price. The only problem is, the taxi never showed up, making us late for our tiger safari. The bathroom has 24/7 hot water and a shower, but the two are not connected. So, the shower is always cold, but you can get a bucket of hot water. I feel they are setting a high standard for themselves - and failing to meet it in many regards. This feels unnecessary and disappointing. There is room for improvement that would make this a much better hotel.
