"Traveling to Pingyao with my child for two days, the owner kindly upgraded our room. I was most impressed with the 'Little Yellow Duck' family room, located in the courtyard under the bright wall. It completely dispelled my concerns about the inconvenience of staying in the ancient city with a child. The guesthouse's exterior is an authentic Jin-style courtyard, perfect for photos, and the courtyard itself is quiet and peaceful. After a tiring day of sightseeing, returning to the guesthouse to rest was incredibly relaxing. Inside the room, however, it was filled with playful, child-friendly designs. There was a complete 'Little Yellow Duck' themed soft furnishing set, including a small tent, plush toys, children's non-slip slippers, and dedicated toiletries. My child didn't want to leave after entering the room and kept talking about the 'Little Yellow Duck.' The hygiene details were excellent, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. They offered luggage pickup and drop-off at the station, patiently planned an easy route for traveling with kids, and even thoughtfully advised on times to avoid crowds. There was no excessive upselling throughout, making the interaction very comfortable. It perfectly combined an immersive experience of Pingyao Ancient City's charm with catering to my child's playful spirit. Both comfort and ambiance were excellent. If I plan another trip to Pingyao, I'll definitely book this 'Little Yellow Duck' family room again. Highly recommended for all families."

"The inn is very close to the city center, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The room was exquisite, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities, including a bidet toilet. The staff provided perfect service! The owner mentioned it's a century-old building (Phoenix Spreading Wings). Sitting in the courtyard at night, enjoying the breeze, was incredibly relaxing! The breakfast featured many local specialty dishes. Overall, a great experience – highly recommended! Their three restaurants are also excellent, and guests get a discount on meals."

"Bring the children to Pingyao to play and choose this one. First of all, the room is big, the child is no problem running, the hygiene is very clean, and the baby can run barefoot. The smart child in the whole house feels fresh and has been shouting ”small degree small degree” to play. There are many types of breakfast, and children love to eat. There is a self-service laundry room, it is too convenient to take the baby out to wash clothes. Parking is free and there is no pressure to drive by yourself. We took a taxi from the high-speed train station to the North Gate, and the owner came to pick us up, even helping with our luggage and backpacks – their hospitality was almost embarrassing! The inn is located on the main street, North Street. I was very satisfied with the guesthouse's environment; it looked exactly like the pictures. I really wanted to experience this kind of Jin merchant courtyard style, and after watching so many dramas, I finally got to stay in one. It was clean and hygienic. The best part was the owner's warm and thoughtful service. They shared detailed travel tips with us, and anything we needed was just a WeChat message away. Staying here also meant we could use the owner's membership card for a discount at the famous Hongwuji restaurant, which was both delicious and affordable – a dream collaboration! This was the most satisfying guesthouse stay in all my years of traveling, offering incredible value for money. They even gave us a special vinegar as a gift when we left. Perfect!"

"I really have to commend this guesthouse. The moment you step into the courtyard, you feel at ease; it's so clean, and the flowers are in full bloom. Just sitting outside and relaxing for a bit feels worthwhile. The room was also very clean, but what surprised me most was the attention to detail – almost everything you could think of was disposable, like towels, bath sheets, and toilet seat covers. They even provided conditioner, which is a lifesaver for someone like me whose hair easily tangles. The owner is also incredibly nice; whatever you need, just tell her, and she'll sort it out immediately. Overall, my stay was very comfortable, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Pingyao."

"I highly recommend this place. The location is close to the South Gate of Pingyao Ancient City. When checking in, they drew a sightseeing route on a map and even noted the estimated time for each route. The accommodation is clean, and you can do your laundry in the washing machine and dry it on the second floor. The breakfast consisted of light and easy options like porridge, eggs, and Langpi. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Pickup and drop-off services are available. Since our train was at 5:43 PM, we checked out at 12 PM and went out to a coffee shop to kill time, but the owner told us it was hot and we should rest in the room, offering to drive us to the station at 4 PM. Even though we exceeded our allotted time, they allowed us to use the room for free until 4 PM and gave us a free ride to the station. Thank you so much."

Slow down your language when checking in, patiently explain all supporting services, hand-painted simple large-character tour map, marked down the slow trail, avoiding high-step attractions. The rooms in the homestay are spacious and not crowded, the mattresses are soft and comfortable, the bathroom hot water is stable, all kinds of disposable items are complete, and the old flower mirrors and seat cushions are also carefully prepared. Warm tea is provided in the store 24/7, and the elders can be used at any time in the morning and evening; 24-hour luggage storage, go out to play without carrying heavy objects. The boss is familiar with the slow-paced tour route suitable for elders, recommend the peaceful and soothing non-legacy exhibition hall, do not recommend the crowded and noisy net red punching point, very intimate. If you need an electric car to walk, the store clearly explains the rental rules, accompany the car throughout the whole process, confirm the safety of the car; if you want to go to Pingyao to see the show, take the initiative to choose a comfortable movie location and give a discounted fare.
