"I was so touched! Right after I got off the high-speed train, the inn owner was already waiting for me by the roadside in his car. Since cars can't enter the ancient city gate, the owner switched to an electric scooter and continued to take me to the inn, free of charge. The proprietress helped me carry my luggage to the second floor, which I felt really bad about, but was deeply moved by! I absolutely love the style of this room. After check-in, the proprietress grabbed a map and meticulously explained tips for exploring Pingyao Ancient City and important details to note, making everything very clear. I love Shanxi; I felt such attentive care here. When it was time to leave, the owner offered to drive me to the high-speed train station again. I felt embarrassed and decided to leave early and take a taxi to the station myself, then informed the owner via WeChat. He immediately asked if I had gotten into the car yet, offering to drive me if I hadn't. Oh, I was so moved! I told him I had really gotten into a car and didn't need him to drive, wishing his business prosperity and continued success! They added me on WeChat to communicate in advance, and when they learned we had an elderly person with mobility issues, they arranged a wheelchair for us, saving us a lot of trouble. I'm so grateful! 🙏 The room hygiene was impeccable; every nook and cranny was spotless. I'll let you in on a secret: the owner is a Virgo, haha! This is a guesthouse with warmth and a personal touch. GGuest UserI specially rushed to travel during the off-peak period after the Spring Festival to take the dog out for fun. After booking the room, I added WeChat with the landlady. She thoughtfully sent us the navigation location and a long route to get there. She also helped us book a drama to see Pingyao again. We called her the day before departure. I also contacted the hotel. I felt it was very reliable before going. They arranged to pick us up on the day. Because we were not familiar with it, we needed someone to guide us. However, the location of the inn is very close to the navigation gate and it is very dog-friendly! Very considerate. You can adjust the temperature of the central air conditioner in the room. It is hygienic and clean. The location of the accommodation is very close to South Street and relatively quiet. Because there are not many guests traveling during off-peak hours, we were upgraded to a room type for free. We got a sticker and drew the location. , independent wifi in the room, free access to mineral water, the store staff is really nice! The dog friends who recommended it to me hope that they will all come and check in with their dogs, haha! Almost everything I asked for was answered. Before I left, I said that there was really no need to send us away. It was very close, but the boss lady still asked us to send us away in the scenic spot car. GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful, specially the patios. The location is just 10 minutas walking from the North Gate of the wall. In reception they do not speak English, but they were very helpful with the translator. However, if you really need to rest, this hotel is not made for you. At 7am there were already families and kids shouting and playing in the patio. Even with taps, it was too noisy to keep sleeping. The hotel is also offering folkloric dressing and photos shoots, so you might find people take pictures in front of your room anytime, also at night with flashes

There were no lights in the ancient city. The boss was worried that it would be unsafe to find someone and came out to pick him up.
