The location is truly unbeatable – very close to the main street, making it easy to go out and explore, yet far enough from the noise when you return to the courtyard. The rooms are spotless, the bedding is soft, and the bathroom facilities are clean and functional, ensuring maximum comfort. I have to specifically praise the service; it was attentive and considerate throughout, without being intrusive. When guests were dining, they would proactively offer appropriate utensils and even brought warm millet porridge – these small details truly warmed my heart. They also provided travel routes for outings and offered pickup/drop-off services upon arrival. It's not overly commercialized, full of human warmth. During my stay, they were highly responsive on WeChat, making every effort to fulfill any request. They also thoughtfully recommended sightseeing routes and local delicacies. Every small detail was considered, and their genuine warmth and hospitality truly made me feel at home. The hardware facilities perfectly blend ancient charm with modern comfort. My daughter devoured all the snacks in the complimentary fruit platter before we even fully checked in. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise – very refined and beautifully presented. Knowing we hadn't had breakfast yet, she immediately arranged a meal for us. The room itself was clean and tidy, with an antique charm that added a special sense of tranquility. "The Xinghuacun Hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of Pingyao Ancient City, directly across from the county government office. A right turn out of the hotel brings you to the bustling South Street, where all the major attractions are located. The rooms are incredibly spacious and feature double sinks. They're also super cool; we didn't even need to use the AC at night, making for a very comfortable sleep. The abalone millet porridge at breakfast was delicious, and the pour-over latte coffee was just as good as what you'd find in a coffee shop. The mini-fridge was stocked with various complimentary beverages, and all the bottled water was Baishui Mountain brand. What surprised us most was the complimentary fruit delivered every afternoon, and a thoughtful farewell gift upon check-out. The service truly was superb! 👍 Highly recommended!"

You can just take a stroll to major attractions like Rishengchang Draft Bank. It's super convenient to get around. The century - old courtyard has that classic and elegant charm, so peaceful and refined. You can totally immerse yourself in the style of the Shanxi merchant compound. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and comfy. The toiletries are really good, and the stay was great. They even gave us a foot - soaking bucket. How sweet is that! The breakfast has a wide variety. There are freshly - made hand - cut noodles, pure Shanxi aged vinegar brewed on the spot, and freshly - ground coffee that smells amazing and tastes so rich. The staff are friendly and polite, and their service is so detailed. The turn - down service at night really shows they care. I felt so comfortable throughout the stay. I'll definitely choose this place next time I come!"
