It looks very appealing, and the taste is decent enough to fill you up. Overall, it's a good stay. Naturally, for this price point within the ancient city, you shouldn't compare it to hotels of the same price outside. It's incomparable, primarily due to its superb geographical advantage."

During my stay, they were highly responsive on WeChat, making every effort to fulfill any request. They also thoughtfully recommended sightseeing routes and local delicacies. Every small detail was considered, and their genuine warmth and hospitality truly made me feel at home. The hardware facilities perfectly blend ancient charm with modern comfort. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the entire room featured smart controls. The bathroom facilities were comprehensive, leading to a very comfortable stay. The daily fresh breakfast used quality ingredients, with dishes changing daily, offering nutritious and delicious options – the pork rib soup, in particular, was incredibly fragrant and rich. VOSS mineral water was provided in the room, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. The ancient architecture preserves historical charm, while the interior hardware is top-notch, complemented by the meticulous service of the butler team. It’s perfect for both family vacations and trips with friends. My entire stay was a perfect 10, and if I ever return to Pingyao, I will unhesitatingly choose Lixia again!"

"Among all the guesthouses in Pingyao, I chose this one based on a friend's recommendation. Overall, I had a good experience. The concierge contacted me in advance, set up a WeChat group for communication, and arranged a shuttle from the parking lot. There was also a welcome fruit platter, and I received a small souvenir upon checkout. Unfortunately, my stay was too short this time, so I didn't get a chance to experience the bar on the 3rd floor or the tearoom on the 2nd floor. The location is truly unbeatable – very close to the main street, making it easy to go out and explore, yet far enough from the noise when you return to the courtyard. The rooms are spotless, the bedding is soft, and the bathroom facilities are clean and functional, ensuring maximum comfort. I have to specifically praise the service; it was attentive and considerate throughout, without being intrusive. When guests were dining, they would proactively offer appropriate utensils and even brought warm millet porridge – these small details truly warmed my heart. They also provided travel routes for outings and offered pickup/drop-off services upon arrival. It's not overly commercialized, full of human warmth. Staying here in Pingyao is an absolute no-brainer; I'll definitely choose this place for my next trip! The beef noodles are incredibly delicious."

"A very nice hotel with very friendly staff and nice rooms. We recommend the VIP building. The breakfast was chinese and western. The hotel is placed outside the city wall and can be reached easily with taxi or DiDi, but only a few steps to enter the ancient city area. The only field to improve is some basic English for foreign guests, but at the end we managed to communicate :-). See you again!"

They provide high-quality toiletries from Le Labo, mouthwash from Appelles, and a Dyson hairdryer – truly premium personal care products. 2. Since it was the off-season, the hotel upgraded our room. And due to an unforeseen issue on the first night, they upgraded our room again, showing their excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Upon check-in, they immediately offered food recommendations and a travel guide. 3. Every afternoon, we received a delightful delivery of fresh fruit, selected snacks, and a heartwarming sweet soup. It was a lovely touch that made us feel very cared for. Plus, breakfast could be delivered to our room to enjoy at our leisure. Overall, this was an absolutely amazing stay!"
