"Before arriving at Feilai Temple, I hesitated for a long time, unsure whether to stay in Wunongding or Feilai Temple. Ultimately, considering the possibility of heavy fog during Yunnan's rainy season, I chose this hotel in Feilai Temple, hoping to see a glimpse of the snow-capped mountains. Another factor in choosing this hotel was to avoid a common problem with many hotels in Feilai Temple: the somewhat unsightly cable car 😅. Staying here far exceeded my expectations. First, the service was attentive and thoughtful. A butler picked us up from the station, helped with our luggage, and drove us quickly from the station to the hotel. The complimentary fruit platter was very fresh, and the grapes were delicious! In the afternoon, while enjoying afternoon tea at the hotel, we actually saw the snow-capped mountains as the clouds moved – we were so lucky! The hotel also offered a complimentary photo shoot service, three photos per room. After changing into ******* clothing, we were ready to take pictures – they turned out beautifully. The room was fully equipped with underfloor heating, diffused oxygen supply, a humidifier, and even a spare nasal cannula. We had experienced some altitude sickness the night before in Dukezong Ancient Town and didn't sleep well, but we felt great here. If you're more sensitive and find it a little stuffy, you can open the window slightly; it won't be cold. 😍 If our itinerary hadn't already been booked, the parents traveling with us would have liked to stay another day or two. 🌹"

"The room was very comfortable, and the hotel is close to the viewing platform. It was super convenient to take the Diqing Transportation bus to the station and see the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise'. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel also offers a shuttle service. A small car picks you up and takes you directly to the hotel, so you don't have to drag your luggage up and down hills. The hotel owner was very warm and provided excellent service. I even got to witness the best 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' of the year, which is supposed to bring a whole year of good luck! I highly recommend staying at this hotel."

"The place looks exactly like the pictures, and the sheets and duvet covers are spotless. The bathroom is also very clean. The owner is super friendly; if you want to see the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' phenomenon, they'll even drive you to the observation deck. If you're not driving and coming by bus, you can contact the owner in advance, and they'll pick you up. The owner also has a really cute dog! It's about a ten to fifteen-minute walk to the observation deck. By the way, the yak skewers on the way to the observation deck are delicious and have a milky flavor."

"Cozy place with a warm hospitality. Sharing this for the benefit for other guests; However, do note that currently, the road up to yubeng village is undergoing maintenance hence we'd need to hike a brutal 16km up from ninong carpark. The distance from lower yubeng to upper yubeng is another 2.3km uphill. Fortunately, there are pick up cars which can pick you up from rest stop 2 to upper yubeng (which i've only found out from one of the kind staff when i arrived), which means you can take a pick up truck down to rest stop 2 if you would like to conserve energy for other hikes at the yubeng village. Please feel free to enquire with the friendly staff! Breakfast variety could also be improved instead of only 米线... Would be good if coffee could be served for breakfast too..."

Nestled in the core scenic area of Feilai Temple at an altitude of 3,400 meters, the courtyard faces Kawagebo—the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, the first among the eight great sacred mountains in the local sacred mountain range—across the valley. Only 400 meters away from Feilai Temple Viewing Platform, it is a prime location to admire the spectacular "Sunshine over Golden Snow Mountain". Named "Shan Zun (Honor of the Mountain)", the hotel pays tribute to the sacred status of Kawagebo and highlights its premium quality among hotels with Meili Snow Mountain views. I. Exclusive Seat for Sunshine over Golden Snow Mountain: In the early morning, you can privately witness the spectacular 10-minute "Sunshine over Golden Snow Mountain" in your room, as the first ray of sunlight paints the snow-capped peaks from soft pink to dazzling gold—a lucky moment bestowed by the sacred mountain. 360° Surrounded by Snow Mountains: Standing in the hotel courtyard and the top-floor viewing platform, you will be fully surrounded by Meili Snow Mountain and Baima Snow Mountain. Blue sky, white clouds, snow peaks and flowing clouds form a stunning picture of the local snow-capped mountain region. Feast of Starry Sky: At night, far from urban light pollution, you can look up to the breathtaking sight of the Milky Way shrouding the snow peaks. The hotel provides star blankets and hot drinks, allowing you to stargaze comfortably at this high altitude. II. Spatial Aesthetics Blending Local Ethnic Charm and Modern Design The hotel architecture integrates local ethnic traditional elements with modern design concepts: Exterior Design: Built with local stone and wood, it adopts the local ethnic watchtower style and characteristic ethnic decorations, blending harmoniously with the surrounding villages as if it naturally grows at the foot of the snow mountains. Interior Space: The lobby is decorated with local ethnic painted decorations, Thangka and yak wool carpets, creating a warm and sacred atmosphere; fireplaces are set in public areas to offer the unique warmth of the high-altitude region. Cloud Coffee Bar Located on the top floor of the hotel, it serves freshly ground coffee, local ethnic sweet tea, high-altitude special fruit tea and delicate refreshments. Spend an afternoon with a cup of coffee and the snow-capped mountains, enjoying the cozy experience above the clouds. Meili Shan Zun Courtyard is more than just a hotel—it is a spiritual home for you to connect with Meili Snow Mountain. Here, you will experience the romance of "seeing snow-capped mountains when opening the window and watching golden peaks while lying in bed", feel the profound heritage of local ethnic culture, and leave an unforgettable high-altitude memory for a lifetime.

"This hotel is a bit cheaper than those in Wunongding, and if you get a room with a good view, it's really worth it. The hotel opened last year, so it's very new with a 'light luxury' style. The snow-capped mountains look incredibly close and beautiful from the room's window, and there's also a projector. The towels are all disposable, which is very convenient, and the bedding is excellent – super comfortable. The owner clearly put a lot of thought into the bedding. The altitude here is 3400 meters, and the room has diffused oxygen supply, or you can use nasal cannulas, so no need to worry about altitude sickness."

"The owner upgraded our room, and we got to see the snow-capped mountains right from our bed! The best part is how convenient it is, right at the village entrance, saving us a lot of walking. If you want to stroll, the lake is just a stone's throw away. After hiking, we didn't want to take another step, so it was perfect. The restaurant's simple meals weren't too expensive, around 40 RMB was enough to fill up, and guests even get a discount. The underfloor heating in the room was excellent; my clothes got wet in the rain, but I spread them on the floor and they were completely dry by the next morning. After a tiring hike, I just lay on the floor – it was like a sauna, and I felt so much better almost instantly."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome stay experience! The room is heated enough, not cold at all, equipped with an oxygen generator, and it is not afraid of high reaction. The projection quality is clear and it is too cool to lie down and watch a movie at night. You can watch Rizhao Jinshan 🤩🤩 on the roof. The clean bedding is comfortable and the boss is also enthusiastic. It is highly recommended!"

"Highly recommend, 5 out of 5 stars! The room was brand new, spacious, and spotless. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of Meili Snow Mountain, so I could watch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' right from my bed – the view was absolutely incredible.
