GGuest UserFantastic! This B&B is beautifully decorated, grand yet cozy. The owner and staff are all incredibly welcoming. The rooms are spacious, with underfloor heating and oxygen machines. From the French windows, you can directly see the Meili Snow Mountain. The rooftop has plenty of phone holders for guests to use, which is a nice touch. There's roadside parking right by the entrance. The afternoon tea has a great variety, and they even deliver late-night snacks to your room. Highly recommend! Today's the 24th, and we successfully witnessed the 'Sunlight shining on Golden Mountain' phenomenon!

GGuest UserPros: The location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the 'Golden Mountain' (referring to sun-kissed peaks) right from the hotel. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious. The toiletries and hairdryer were of good quality. They offer special touches like fireworks, traditional 'weisang' (a ******* ritual involving burning fragrant offerings), late-night sweet soup, and even photography services. There are tripods available on the terrace, which shows great thoughtfulness. Plus, there are two adorable big dogs named Tudou and Jingang!
The only minor drawbacks were that some facilities, like the wiring, felt a bit old, and a curtain hook was missing. Also, oxygen supply isn't 24-hour. However, it seems the owner is planning renovations, so I'm looking forward to experiencing it again in the future.

HHuoxiniI planned a trip specifically because I had this hotel, designed by Wu Bin, saved in my favorites. The moment I saw the snow-capped mountains, it was all worth it – the combination of Meili Bo Duo and the 'golden mountain bathed in sunlight' is just perfect!
Even the most basic courtyard rooms offer a glimpse of the snowy peaks, and there are plenty of spots in the public areas with even more breathtaking views and fewer crowds.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the thoughtful evening dessert was a lovely surprise – the butler quietly brought it to my room when I was out, which was both unexpected and heartwarming.
Moreover, the hotel offers many activities. I participated in Thangka painting and making ******* incense bags, which were excellent. Upon check-out, the butler even gave me a gift of soap and a prayer wheel.
All in all, to find a hotel like this at an altitude of 3500 meters where you can simply relax and gaze at the snow-capped mountains, I personally feel it was well worth the price.

GGuest UserFirst off, the hotel owner was incredibly kind and understanding. We had originally booked two twin rooms for four people, but two of our group fell ill with altitude sickness and couldn't make it. According to policy, canceling one room would have incurred a 30% charge. However, after hearing our situation, the owner proactively offered a free cancellation, which I truly appreciate. Secondly, the hotel really pays attention to the details. For example, the rooms come equipped with electric blankets, binoculars, oxygen concentrators, and even high-quality tissues. The bathroom has a heater/ventilator, and the Western breakfast is both generous and delicious. Lastly, the hotel is located in the first row, offering unobstructed views of the Meili Snow Mountain directly from the rooms and the rooftop. The rooftop even has tripods available for guests. We were very lucky to witness the stunning 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' phenomenon on Meili Snow Mountain. Tashi Delek! 🙏

PparaworldThe room was spotless, and the 1.2-meter single bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were all warm and professional. The staff on the 4th-floor viewing platform, in particular, were outstanding; they taught us how to capture beautiful photos of the scenery. The butler service group was incredibly responsive. The hotel is located near the Wunongding viewing platform, so you don't have to brave the early morning cold to see Meili Snow Mountain; you can see it directly from the 4th floor. We were so lucky this time, from January 25th to 27th, we saw the breathtaking 'Sunrise over Golden Mountain' (Rizhao Jinshan) of Meili Snow Mountain for two days, as well as the 'Sunset over Silver Mountain' on the first day. The two documentaries shown at night, ”Kawa Karpo” and ”The Salt Road,” were fascinating. The small gift we received upon check-out was lovely.
However, the dinner selection was uninspiring, and the portions were small. For instance, the stir-fried Pipa pork with matsutake had very little meat and mushrooms, but a lot of green onions. I hope they can improve this aspect!

AAnonymous UserThe view in the room is spectacular. You can see the view of the snow mountain and lush green mountains while taking a bath or in bed. It was the most wonderful stay for us.
The room also came with all the amenities needed, equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a Smeg kettle, which seems very suitable for the price.
They also provide a free laundry service, which they will deliver clean clothes by your door in the morning. Beverages including water, soft drinks, coffee and tea are all included and can be provided as much as you need. They also prepared us sandwiches for us to take for our day hike.
The young lady at the front desk, who is also a barista, took very good care of us. She is always active on Wechat for any requests we may have. She also kindly helped us to arrange a van to pick us up from Ninong to Feilaisi.
Definitely a rewarding stay after long hikes!

GGuest UserThe location is absolutely superb, with the hotel directly facing the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, Kawagebo, offering an unobstructed view. Drawing back the curtains in the early morning, when the first rays of sunlight hit the mountain peak, the awe-inspiring sight of the 'golden mountains in the sun' is truly indescribable. It felt incredibly healing, like I hit the jackpot!

GGuest UserThe hotel is super close to the observation deck, about a 3-minute walk away. What really stood out was how incredibly clean and cozy the room was. You could tell the hotel owner had turned on the underfloor heating beforehand because it was wonderfully warm when I walked in. The disposable toiletries were also really comprehensive and high-end, especially the toothbrush. It's rare for a hotel to even provide mouthwash! The oxygen supply equipment was also excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, this hotel is definitely worth recommending – it's fantastic!

GGuest UserMy stay was absolutely wonderful! The environment was clean and tidy, and the staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly nice. I accidentally left something behind, and they kindly put it away for me. 😇 The window view was stunning, and I even got to see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' the next morning – so lucky, haha! The hotel also has a adorable Labrador named Pudding~

GGuest UserShangyubeng is a beautiful B&B. Enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and meadows from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive. Because the village was undergoing road construction, we had to hike in. Mr. Hua called ahead to let us know, which prepared us well and saved us a lot of trouble.
The owner's cooking is impeccable. After a week of Yunnan cuisine, we were treated to authentic Cantonese barbecued pork and scallion chicken, which my two children raved about. He even thoughtfully prepared sandwiches for us to snack on on the hike back. May Mr. Hua's business flourish and may his fortunes flow.
