Pet Friendly Hotels in Deqin

Ten thousand thumbs up! If you're in Yubeng during the rainy season, you absolutely cannot miss this hotel. You get a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, and in the morning, you can watch the sunrise illuminate them from your room. The soundproofing is excellent, and there's underfloor heating throughout. The design is simple but blends perfectly with the scenery – they really put a lot of effort into it! The bed was incredibly comfortable. But the best part was the service. When I ran out of water at night and went to buy two bottles, the owner just gave them to me for free. This reminds me of a crummy hotel in Feilai Temple that charged 600 RMB and then even charged for water. Compared to that, I feel like guests at Muchen are so lucky!

This hotel has a fantastic design. The front desk and concierge staff were incredibly warm and helpful, always responding promptly and cheerfully to all our questions – a truly energetic group of young people. Our room had underfloor heating, which was wonderfully comfortable, and the oxygen diffuser was a real lifesaver for altitude sickness. They even had the heating on before we checked in, so the room was toasty warm when we arrived. From the hotel's viewing platform, you can gaze out at Meili Snow Mountain. It's a bit of a shame though that there's a new hotel under construction nearby; it was a bit noisy and blocked a small part of the view. The restaurant served delicious food, and breakfast was excellent too! I really loved this hotel.

This is a typical Tibetan-style guesthouse, built by the river. The hygiene and facilities are quite good. The owner warmly invited us to have dinner with them; the owner's wife's homemade chili sauce was delicious. However, to be fair, the small road leading from the main road to the guesthouse passes through a sand quarry and has a significant elevation difference, which is inconvenient. It's recommended that you contact the owner before you arrive to see if you can park on the main road and then take the small road down.

The room has floor heating, the living environment is very quiet, the boss is very talkative, responsive, the bedding is clean, and there is a parking space at the door. A few hundred meters nearby is Deqin County Hospital. If there is a high anti-oxygen, it is more convenient. The altitude is a few hundred meters lower than the hotel in the Feilai Temple area. It is very friendly to the high anti-people. The price of the Deqin County hotel is also much cheaper than the hotels near Feilai Temple. It is very suitable for self-driving travel accommodation. It is about 13 kilometers away from Feilai Temple Observation Deck and about 20 minutes by car. It is closer to the thick fog top observation deck. It takes about half an hour to drive between the two observation decks and the hotel is between the two observation decks. By the way, the Meili Snow Mountain is much more ornamental than the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

I accidentally booked an extra night, and the owner kindly helped me get a full refund, which I really appreciate. My stay this time was fantastic! The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the room was spotlessly clean with great natural light and ventilation. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed, paying close attention to every detail. It offers excellent value for money, making for a comfortable and worry-free stay. I highly recommend it!

On my way back from Tibet, I was unlucky and didn't catch the sunrise on the golden mountains, but the stay was great. The owner was incredibly warm and genuine, very attentive, and an excellent chef (the ground floor is a restaurant, and compared to other places nearby, this one was convenient and offered great value for money. Plus, getting a good meal on this trip was a rare treat). The room was new, well-equipped, and had oxygen supply. The floor-to-ceiling windows were quite relaxing. Last time I was here, parking was a nightmare, but this time they actually had a parking lot!

This is the best pet-friendly hotel! Our little dog could stay in the same room with us. The rooftop view is amazing; even though we didn't see the 'golden sun on the mountain' (a specific sunrise phenomenon), we clearly saw Mount Kawagarbo from the rooftop at 4 PM. The owner is talkative and friendly, and he even upgraded our room for free and sent us beautiful photos and videos. The room is equipped with the latest diffused oxygen supply system, making it more hygienic. Both the soft furnishings and hardware are brand new. They provide free red date and goji berry water all day, as well as red melon seeds that won't cause internal heat. It's convenient for dining and shopping. A very comfortable and satisfying stay!

We arrived in the evening and had dinner in the guesthouse's restaurant. The owner treated us to a delicious local wine. Our room offered a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, unlike the view at Feilai Temple, where the peaks were much closer. The next day, at sunrise, we could watch the sun set over the Golden Mountain from our room. There's also a viewing platform on the first floor, offering unobstructed views of the stars and the snow-capped mountains. The owner warmly invited us to dinner at her sister's home. The cooking was excellent and delicious! It also allowed us to experience ******* culture. The owner's daughter was adorable, not shy at all, and constantly entertained us. It snowed heavily the day we left, but thanks to the owner's guidance on a safe route, we arrived safely in Shangri-La. If I ever visit Meili Snow Mountain again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.

The views at Youlan Inn are absolutely stunning! You can see Meili Snow Mountain right from the terrace, and in the morning, you can watch the golden sunrise illuminate the peaks from bed. The room was clean and warm, and there was always plenty of hot water. It was super comfortable to come back to after a hike.

The biggest pleasant surprise of my Yubeng trip was definitely this guesthouse. Opening the window revealed a breathtaking vista of snow-capped mountains and pristine forests; when shrouded in mist, it felt like a fairyland. Waking up to that view each morning was truly healing – the scenery is so stunning it left me speechless! What made it even better was the warm service, especially from the front desk staff. They were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive throughout, patiently helping us plan our hiking routes, reminding us of important precautions, and even proactively drying our soaking wet hiking shoes after our treks. The attention to detail showed so much warmth. Staying here offers both the tranquil beauty of nature and the thoughtful care of family. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Yubeng!
