The room and reception staff were great, and the location was quite good, but there was construction next door, so it was dusty everywhere. The kittens in the yard were adorable! The only downside was that the cleaning staff's training needed improvement; the towels weren't clean before being put in the guest rooms.

This is a typical Tibetan-style guesthouse, built by the river. The hygiene and facilities are quite good. The owner warmly invited us to have dinner with them; the owner's wife's homemade chili sauce was delicious. However, to be fair, the small road leading from the main road to the guesthouse passes through a sand quarry and has a significant elevation difference, which is inconvenient. It's recommended that you contact the owner before you arrive to see if you can park on the main road and then take the small road down.

Overall, it was a great stay. The hotel thoughtfully provided tips for altitude sickness in the room and prepared items and facilities to combat it, such as Coke, oxygen packs, and an oxygen supply system. The decor leans towards a Wabi-sabi style, and the buckwheat pillows were very comfortable to sleep on. You can watch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' from the 4th floor. Service: After booking this time, the hotel offered a ******* costume photoshoot experience. ******* clothes and headwear were available in the hotel lobby. After the shoot, we received 3 free original photos. This was a collaboration with NICO Travel Photography. The photographer was very professional 📷, snapped great shots 👍, was excellent at composition and finding the right light, and even guided our poses. We got the photos quickly, and then back at the hotel, a dedicated staff member helped us choose the best ones. The entire process was very pleasant, and we got some amazing 'life photos' – fantastic!

The overall feeling was incredibly comfortable, and the value for money was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip. They meticulously provided check-in instructions, directions, and local travel tips in advance. Any questions I had were answered patiently and promptly, with a gentle and sincere attitude, never feeling perfunctory. It was incredibly heartwarming from the moment I arrived, completely dispelling any sense of unfamiliarity or distance. The accommodation itself was also a delightful surprise – clean, tidy, cozy, and comfortable. The room had great natural light and ventilation, a sensible layout, and felt spacious without being cramped. The hygiene was impeccable; the bed was soft and clean, the bedding was odorless, and the bathroom was dry and neat. Even the corners were spotless. All essential amenities were provided and in good working order, making the stay very convenient and hassle-free. Plus, the location is incredibly convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, ensuring a perfectly undisturbed night's sleep. I compared many accommodations, and this one truly excels in terms of environment, hygiene, and service. The attention to detail is evident, clearly showing how dedicated the owners are to running this business. The overall stay experience was perfect, with absolutely no complaints. I paid a reasonable price for an amazing experience – the value for money is off the charts. I sincerely believe this place is highly recommendable. I accidentally booked an extra night, and the owner kindly helped me get a full refund, which I really appreciate. My stay this time was fantastic! The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the room was spotlessly clean with great natural light and ventilation. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed, paying close attention to every detail. It offers excellent value for money, making for a comfortable and worry-free stay. I highly recommend it!

Close proximity to Fei Lai Temple. Rooftop viewing platform and view of the Meili mountain so we can decide if we need to head up or not as the sighting of golden sunrise is really by luck. Cons: Variety of breakfast can be improved and do note that there are alot of constructions going on the area and they start work early like 630am so be mentally prepared if you were to stay around this area. Glad we came before they became very commercialized but sad that we didnt get to witness the golden sunrise though we did see the Meili mountain the day before. Pity the level 4 coffee place is not in operation else would have been a 5/5 for amenities. Unsure if it is due to off peak season now (June).

If you're traveling by bus like me, this hotel is the best choice because it's right next to the bus stop, literally less than a minute's walk away. 😂 **Accommodation:** The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. It's about a 5-6 minute walk from Feilai Temple observation deck. They offer free breakfast, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try it due to time constraints, which was a bit of a shame. 😔 **Facilities:** They have floor heating, an oxygen concentrator, a humidifier, and a heated ceiling in the bathroom. **Service:** The uncle was very talkative and immediately invited everyone to sit down and rest. The aunt brought a cup of hot tea. The male host (I think)? He seemed a bit shy but diligently helped carry our luggage. The female host (I think)? She was gentle and detailed in explaining the room facilities and how to use the floor heating. They are a very warm and friendly family! The next morning, I saw the shy male host carefully wiping the steps and he even reminded me to be careful as the ground was slippery. **P.S.** There are thoughtful little details in every corner of the room. Check the small box in the bedside table – you're sure to find something you need. This time, I forgot my hand cream, and the snake oil balm there solved a big problem! Had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The front desk even upgraded our room and included breakfast. The owner personally brought an oxygen tube to our room. We had a great view of the snow-capped mountains, and there's a restaurant and shops conveniently located downstairs.

The staff here are incredibly down-to-earth and thoughtful. They're super knowledgeable about the Yubeng trekking routes and thoroughly explained the trail conditions, rest stops, and even gave helpful tips for avoiding common pitfalls on the Ice Lake and Sacred Waterfall treks. Any request I had was met with a quick response. The common lounge area was great for sitting around the fire, and the atmosphere for chatting with fellow hikers from all over was really fantastic – it felt so natural and friendly.

The biggest pleasant surprise of my Yubeng trip was definitely this guesthouse. Opening the window revealed a breathtaking vista of snow-capped mountains and pristine forests; when shrouded in mist, it felt like a fairyland. Waking up to that view each morning was truly healing – the scenery is so stunning it left me speechless! What made it even better was the warm service, especially from the front desk staff. They were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive throughout, patiently helping us plan our hiking routes, reminding us of important precautions, and even proactively drying our soaking wet hiking shoes after our treks. The attention to detail showed so much warmth. Staying here offers both the tranquil beauty of nature and the thoughtful care of family. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Yubeng!
