A terribly bittersweet experience.
I don't know if all rooms have the same problem, but at least in room 101, where my wife and I stayed, they have a very serious problem: the shower is quite high above the floor where the sink is. Furthermore, the floor where the sink is located isn't slippery like the shower floor, so when I got out of the shower, I took a very hard fall on the floor, which, when it got even slightly wet, became completely slippery.
Fortunately, it didn't go beyond an arm injury that has disabled me for a couple of days now, for which no one is paying me, and for which I'm quite upset. I was close to hitting my head on the edge of the shower head, and that could have been too serious.
I consider it negligence on their part to maintain this facility in this state. I'm young, yet I was close to having a major accident simply because the hotel doesn't have at least a mat or something similar to prevent the floor from slipping. I can't imagine what could happen to someone older than me after a fall like mine.
I feel sorry for the hotel employees who were there when I mentioned the situation. They're very kind, but it seems they're completely tied down when it comes to making decisions and proposing solutions.
I had to ask them for assistance to help me get my bags downstairs because I couldn't even move my arm, thinking it could even be a fracture.
I hope the hotel management contacts me, because I'm extremely upset about this situation and I demand that they take action on the matter.

The atmosphere is different from Bellas Artes.
There are many long-term residents, so it's a bit more friendly.
Besides,
the kitchen refrigerator is always full, so it seems to need some cleaning.
The bathroom is also always dirty, with many people using it.
Since the price difference isn't that big, I think Bellas Artes will be more comfortable.
In terms of facilities, it's better to go with Bellas Artes.

The location was great, close to the Zocalo Square. It was a shame that the floor seemed to be tilted.
The staff was kind and the breakfast was delicious!!
It felt like living in a castle.
There were no windows for ventilation.

Very good hotel, This came in as a surprise when booking as it was not really recommend, but the hotel location is very central and the staffs are super nice, they are there to help as much as they can! room also clean.
the only downside would be the shower as this is showerhead was quite hard and feel like piercing through my skin when showering.

For a hotel which was rated at 4 stars, the rooms lacked a/c, a refrigerator, a heater, a kettle and extra blankets. When i asked for some ice, i was told there was none available, only hot water. I wouldn't return to stay there again.

Still more classical shops, classical shops are not big. But very elegant, the city center, very convenient, very close to the Constitution Square and the National Palace. There is a local breakfast shop next to it that is very famous. If you have to queue up, the locals will eat.
Novotel Mexico City Centro Historico has the best location in Historic Mexico City, ensuring all the comfort for a quiet stay in Mexico City. The hotel's structure includes a gym, meeting rooms for corporate events and a terrace over the Zócalo.

AAnonymous UserOne problem with all holidayinn brands is that the management of the hotel has a lot of room for improvement. When the room is cleaned every day, someone will come and knock on the door many times and ask if there is a room cleaning, which is very poor management.
The location of this hotel is in a more prosperous place in the city center, the transportation is very convenient, and it is convenient to take a taxi for daily travel. It is convenient to eat around and walk safer.
AAhmed AwwadI recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico.
The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future.
On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service.
If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel for a 23-hour layover in Mexico City on an Aeromexico flight to Guatemala. It was great because it was near a metro station, which was easily accessible from the airport. The hotel is at least 3-star rated. The room was spacious, the closet was spacious, and the bathroom was clean. The staff were all friendly. My room was a bit noisy, which was a bit uncomfortable in the middle of the night, but not to the point of being terribly annoying. The only real disappointment was the lack of a coffee pot. I desperately wanted coffee, so I went to the first-floor restaurant to get some warm water. The bed was also good quality. Overall, I'm satisfied. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quieter, more urban location away from the touristy city center.
GGuest UserGreat hotel to stay at if you arrive late in Mexico City. Service was welcoming and friendly. Very nice room with great insulation, so I didn't really hear all the construction going on at the airport. Very pricey, but worth it if your other hotel in the city doesn't have a shuttle service to pick you up late at night at the airport.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. We arrived quite late, around midnight, but the staff were accommodating and made the late check-in smooth and hassle-free. Security was present at all hours, which made us feel safe throughout our stay.
The apartment itself was modern and very well-equipped with all the utensils and facilities we needed, making it easy to prepare meals and feel at home. Everything was spotless and smelled wonderfully fresh the moment we walked in.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, secure, and comfortable stay with great amenities and friendly service.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a great location, 30 minutes by taxi from the airport. The breakfast is also very rich and can be ordered. The room is large and has air conditioning, but it is a little noisy at night and is too close to the bar street.
AAnonymous UserAcceptable room price. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Suggest to add electric water kettle for each room.
Better maintain stable room price on weekdays and weekends.
XXMGSKKThe hotel is located in the downtown area. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat nearby. There are many choices. There are many bars near the hotel. It is very convenient to stay in this location if you are traveling in Mexico City. The hotel is good overall. The facilities are not very new, but it meets the needs overall.
MM F GomezThe hotel has a fabulous location right in the middle of everything, cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel is a bit simpler than it appears in the photos, it is quite an old hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and that makes the stay better, the restaurant downstairs is delicious. It does not have air conditioning and the facilities are old. If you are going to do a visa application for the USA it is convenient for you but not for a comfortable stay.
