GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right outside the JR station, to the right. It's in the same building as AEON. This is incredibly handy for people like us who take the JR every day. The hotel room isn't big, pretty compact like most hotels in Japan. However, on our first day, the hotel seemed to forget to provide bottled water. We had to go down to the supermarket and carry a bottle up ourselves.
This hotel no longer offers daily room cleaning; they only provide replenishment of amenities. We weren't staying long, just 2 days, so it was acceptable.

CCindy1274I stayed at Y’s Hotel Asahikawa Station during a self-drive trip. One thing to note is that the navigation may direct you to a nearby parking lot, which initially made us think we were at the wrong place. From there, it’s a short walk to the hotel. Parking costs around 1200 yen per night.
The room itself was quite standard — nothing particularly special. We also felt that the price we paid was a bit on the higher side for what was offered.
That said, the location is very convenient. The hotel is right next to the JR station, with AEON, MUJI, and other shops nearby. It’s also easy to get to Asahiyama Zoo from here.
Overall, a practical stay mainly for its location and convenience.

GGuest UserWe chose this ryokan for its proximity to Asahikawa Zoo. With a rental car, its location was convenient. The room featured traditional tatami mats and futons for our family of four. The highlight was the in-house ‘onsen’ bath, which we enjoyed without any additional fees. The attentive staff surprised us by clearing the snow off our car after a heavy snowstorm. Senshoen gets my highest recommendation for its service, comfort, and lovely garden.

AAnonymous UserThe location was fantastic, walking distance from station and on the same block as the main shopping street.
This is a small Japanese apartment, so felt a little cramped using the bed and sofa bed. However all important amenities were provided. Great to use the kitchen and laundry facilities.
Management company was very professional and responsive.
Some dust and hairs were found so would like some more attention to the cleaning.

YYi-Tzu ChenA good option for solo skiing in Asahikawa. After breakfast, head to the bus station. I personally think walking to the OMO7 bus stop (about 10 minutes) is better, as you can board directly. If that's closer, you can go to the station bus stop (7 minutes), but you'll have to wait for the bus. The advantage is you can leave later, but the disadvantage is that it might be full and you'll have to wait for an extra bus or sit in the aisle.
Free chicken curry rice is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7 PM.
New towels and toothbrushes are provided daily. Lotion can be picked up in the lobby on the first floor.
Delivery packages (ski equipment, etc.) can be collected.
The room is spacious for one person, and economical for two.

GGuest UserVery nice and quaint hotel. The service from the hotel staff were superb. The onsen, the breakfast from the hotel were so good. We had a little hiccups during our first night stay, the toilet was unable to flush and the hotel technician arrived at our room within 5 mins and immediately have our room changed. Serive was excellent!

GGuest UserVery professional hotel and the rooms have a cool layout. I love that the windows actually open so you can get fresh air. The mattresses are very firm (good for your back) but the pillows are kind of weird memory foam blocks, so that was a bit awkward. I put a shirt under one pillow to bring it up to normal height for my neck. They are too low otherwise but stacking two of them is way too much, I would suggest putting a mixture of fluffy normal pillows and these memory foam things.
Otherwise the hotel is pretty great, relaxed atmosphere, right on the main street and very close to two different Lawson kombinis, and a Mister Donut is literally right next door and stays open late. So you're in a great spot. You can do anything at R Hotels. I felt really good energy and the staff were super professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

GGG WATT1 night in Asahikawa, this hotel easily to get there but you have to park opposite side of hotel if hotel not free( I guess or maybe if you stay more than 1 night might be can park at the hotel area) big hotel. Room is okay, there is a window but cannot open. Heater not easy to open. Overall is okay. There is onsen inside hotel.
Breakfast is good and nearby Aeon department store and food restaurant.

GGuest UserHotel Crescent is one of my favorite hotels in Japan. Very professional and nice staff, even the cleaning people make an effort to manage their noise if they know someone is still sleeping in a room, which is above and beyond. The staff at Crescent kept my luggage for a long time when my return trip got delayed which was a huge relief. The lobby gives such a unique atmosphere, it's at once august and stately, like one of the grand art deco hotels of the past era, but it also has a fun little gift shop area and a cafe, so it feels relaxed. Crescent is just a really friendly place where you don't have to worry about anything. Their website explains their ”Kaizen” philosophy, which now is a famous Japanese management philosophy of continuous improvement in each area. It really shows at this hotel. This is the kind of hotel you end up becoming a better person because the staff is so professional and kind. Thank you for a great stay and for being one of my favorite places in Japan :)

LLow choon hooiLarge twin bedroom. Clean towel set they hangs on the door knob everyday. Housekeeping is every 3 days during our stay for 1 week. Location is great. Walking distance to Aeon Mall, Asahikawa station and konbini. Near to bus stop no22 and no11 to go to kamui ski resort.
Cheapest parking located behind this hotel. Maximum parking fee is yen600.
There’s self check in and self check out machine at the front desk. Great wifi speed.
