Our family room on 10th floor smelled like dampened carpet with A/C turned on for a long time. As you as you entered, the smell should be noticeable. Carpet is quite dirty in the walking area. Couch was dirty. There was a massage chair, it only turned on and off. My parents were in another room, originally on 3rd floor, they said it smelled like cigarettes because they allowed smoking on 2nd floor. So we asked to move them, and the manager was quite nice, spoke enough English to communicate, he did move them to 10th floor but somehow the room didn’t have any A/C. Location was close enough to the station, 2 blocks away. We had a car rental and need to keep overnight, one of the clerks showed us the closed by parking lots and recommended the cheapest one, supposedly 650 Yen or so, but when we took the car there, we were charged 1100 Yen. We came back and told him, he just shrugged it off. We told him to let the next customers know the new price but not sure if he understood. Oh well…
