Premier Hotel -Cabin- Asahikawa

Asahikawa was just a stopover for me on my way to Wakkanai, but I was surprised to find it's a major city! The food was amazing, and I even managed to win some great prizes. The onsen hotel perfectly suited my taste. I've fallen in love with Hokkaido and will definitely be back!

The window in the room only opens a tiny crack, and the smoking room reeked of smoke, which hadn't been properly aired out beforehand. I won't be coming back; definitely a place to avoid. The only real upside here is the breakfast with a view, and the breakfast itself was decent. If breakfast isn't included, there's no reason to choose this hotel. The room was tiny, and the window only opened a 1cm gap, making ventilation impossible.

The room was really small and the hotel itself was quite old. There's a hot spring bathhouse on the basement level, which is convenient for showering, and toiletries can be picked up for free in the lobby, which is well-stocked. There's a self-service laundry room on the ground floor; washing and drying are separate, and the dryer isn't very efficient, so plan your laundry time accordingly. The restaurant is on the top floor with a beautiful view, and the breakfast is very rich with daily rotating dishes – they put a lot of effort into it. The location is great, not far from Asahikawa Station, and dining is very convenient with many restaurants to choose from.

The hotel is directly accessible by bus from Asahikawa Airport, and it's just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to JR Asahikawa Station. There's a microwave in the common area, which is very convenient to use. The room isn't huge, but it's clean. Plus, there's a Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel, making it easy to grab whatever you need.

The hygiene and facilities were really bad. When we were leaving, we even found a pair of socks that weren't ours. I was speechless.

Booked two rooms for three people, and we were quite satisfied. The price was great, and they have hot springs. The staff were friendly. There's a bus stop right outside that goes to various ski resorts, and it's not far from the JR station.
