Super clean and modern room with toilets that seem pretty new! Not the closest to the city centre, however, in a fancy-ish area and there is a bus stop around 10mins walk away which goes into the city. It has a food cart situation outside the hotel (still within the compounds) that serve hot breakfast items like baps and omelettes.

Very satisfied with my stay. Good location, very close to train station. Tasty breakfast (however it tends to get crowded, it'd be better to have more tables). Clean room, towels were changed every day. There's a TV, hairdryer and a kettle with basic tea a coffee selection. Comfortable bed with multiple pillows to choose from. Staying at this hotel was wonderful experience . We are family of 3 and we had to have accessible room due to my husbands recent injury. I was pretty surprised to see the size of the room! It’s super spacey , has 2 huge windows. They are half opening which is a big sense for me (in my previous reviews I always say I hate locked windows with no oxygen inside 😃). Bathroom has 2 sinks : for wheel chair user and for the full size person standing which is upper comfort . Towels , shampoos and other perks are my love from Hilton. Pills are wonderful (one more naughty requirement I have to hotels ). Another cute thing is that parking is free (have you seen free parks in this country ?😆) We didn’t get the breakfast as is it’s British and we don’t eat pork . But all the rest is super wonderful !

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

HhakunaVery close to the train station, and we were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook your own meals. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserTribe hotel is 2 minutes walk to the airport. Lovely modern rooms. Bar and restaurant staff extremely friendly. We were a party of 14 and they accommodated us in a private area and Lewis the waiter looked after us efficiently while being friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserThe food selection at breakfast was superb. All the staff were lovely and helpful, especially at breakfast. The swimming pool was always clean and tidy, nothing broken or dirty. Only thing that could have made our stay better was if the pool were open longer
YYorkshire visiting⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review: ibis budget Manchester Airport
I recently stayed at the ibis budget Manchester Airport, and it exceeded all my expectations for an airport hotel. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, comfortable, and incredibly convenient.
The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the terminals and perfect for early flights. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful.
My room was spotlessly clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to the airport. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the overall layout was simple but very well designed. For the price, the value is outstanding.
I also appreciated the 24/7 reception, handy vending options, and the overall sense of safety and efficiency. Everything worked exactly as you’d hope before or after a long journey.
Overall, ibis budget Manchester Airport is a fantastic choice for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value. I would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserThis hotel was a positive surprise to me. I did not expect more than a bed to sleep close to the center of Manchester for the price I paid for the stay and they offered so much more with the friendliness and professionalism of the frontdesk service staff, the varied breakfast and comfortable bed. The hotel is however a bit outdated and I missed a usb plug in the room for charging mobile as I am a European traveller and the plug is different. Luckily front desk helped me with an adapter for the night. I also had a small lunch at the Garden restaurant and whether you go there for a drink or food you will find nice staff and you can taste the freshness of the products used.
All in all, great value for money.
GGuest UserThis is a grand and historic hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay. Its location is fantastic, right in the city center and just a short walk from Manchester's Chinatown. My only complaints are the unclear smoking signs near the entrance and the tiny ashtrays provided. There was also no doorman to offer assistance or reminders. This could easily lead to fines (as enforcement seemed rather discreet), which unfortunately cast a shadow of frustration and disappointment over my trip.
AAnonymous UserDuring my recent stay at this hotel, I found the overall experience to be enjoyable with top-quality fittings and furnishings. However, there were areas that required improvement. The hotel itself is pleasant, but enhancing the service and room cleaning would significantly improve the guest experience.
A standard room was paid for but a disability-accessible room was provided. We requested to change it to a standard which was done immediately without any questions. No water bottles were provided in the room initially; they were only given on request and only two small bottles were provided. Additionally, the room cleaning service was unsatisfactory. Despite requesting it twice over 4 nights, the cleaner only changed the sheets once and neglected to take out the bins vacuum, replace towels or clean the bathroom. This was particularly disappointing given the length of my nearly week-long stay.
The breakfast was beautifully presented with various options but unfortunately remained the same every day lacking any variation. Some areas were particularly poor. For instance, the scrambled eggs had a distinct smell and were overly watery. Adding tomatoes or simply varying the options every few days would have improved the experience.
One concern we had was the cleaning team. Twice the cleaner used his universal card to enter our room without ensuring no one was present. My partner was in the shower and our young baby was asleep. We heard a knock but were unable to reach the door in time. Upon reaching it we realised he was already entering. This occurred twice and on the following day we decided to chain the door for privacy reasons.
In other hotels we have stayed in, privacy is of the utmost concern for staff and they would never even risk opening someone’s locked door without making sure. A better system needs to be in place here.
AAnonymous UserGreat hotel for couples! The location is very convenient, and the breakfast food was really good and fresh. Everything met our expectations, and we enjoyed our stay.
YYvonneyingRoffeyThe hotel was really easy to find, just around the corner from Starbucks! It was super noisy though! Really, really noisy! But the room itself was actually quite spacious. It even had a bathtub which was a nice bonus! However, the heating in the hotel was way too hot and made the air really dry. Plus, the front desk staff spoke a lot of what sounded like Indian English that I just couldn't understand, which led to me constantly having to say, ”Pardon me???”
GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
