Hotel is small but the location is excellent, basically within walking distance to everything you want to around Taipei 101. Yes it will be noisey since its in downtown but thats something I'm willing to sacrifice for the convenience. First day check in went smoothly front desk staff was very friendly and worked efficiently, but that is where the positives end. I stayed for total of 3 nights, for the first two nights, since I'm solo traveling and I'm not a messy person, I put on the DND light and chose not need housekeeping. For the third night I finally put on the housekeeping light and left my room around 10-11am, when I came back later I found my room was not cleaned at all and I was told since its late they can only offer me fresh towels. I'm an easygoing person so I didnt make a big fuzz about it, but just surprising to me since I have never been to a hotel that failed at the one thing they are supposed to do.

location is about 10min to the subway, lots of small restaurants around, 711 is in the lobby
However the room furniture is aging.
the bath tub height was high and need to slowly climb in to take a shower, can easily slip and not recommended for elderly people.
need to call housekeeping to add more toilet paper and request they wash or change the used tea cups
liquid soap and shampoos bottle pump is hard to press
worse is the TV system does not work. when watching TV channels... after 2 min it returns to the main page.
also there is a message that a phone wants to connect to the TV... I assume from another adjacent room.

The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the MRT station, and there's a Sushiro right next door, which is super convenient for meals! The location is indeed excellent; it's just a ten-minute walk to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Breeze Center. It's the perfect distance to walk back to the hotel after dinner. I used to like using 'b-beginning' apps for travel, but honestly, Ctrip is the most reliable and safest! If there's an issue, contacting Ctrip customer service usually results in them helping to negotiate with the hotel – they truly go above and beyond! The hotel's breakfast is small but refined, perfectly adequate. But honestly, with so many breakfast shops in Taipei, you really don't need to book a room with breakfast included.

Just okay for short term stays. We got a glimpse of Taipei 101 and city view in our unit. However, the room has this mildew smell and the carpet felt damp underfoot. There’s also a lingering odor in the bathroom (the bed is just beside the toilet).
The staff were nice, though. Location wise, public transport is convenient as it’s near Taipei Main Station, and bus stops.

I stumbled upon this hotel by chance. I had originally planned to book a hotel near Taipei 101 for New Year's Eve, but the one I wanted and the specific room type were already sold out three months in advance. So, I started looking for hotels a bit further away. However, during the payment process, an issue occurred, forcing me to cancel and re-search. Luckily, this hotel had the room type I needed, and even better, the balcony offered a direct view of Taipei 101! I booked it immediately. Overall, the design style is decent, and its proximity to Taipei 101 is a big plus. There's also a night market nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. Great stay!

Right outside the hotel is the MRT station, which is super convenient! This is my second time staying here, and the hotel is as busy as ever, mostly with tourists. The lobby is always lively every time I visit, and the restaurant is also fantastic. The Sichuan restaurant upstairs is perfect for me!

I truly enjoyed my stay here thanks to its best facility, cleanliness, staff friendliness, and well organized place. I also really enjoyed using the tourist map provided by the hostel in the English version. It absolutely was helpful for my prestigious journey at this time. The map provides such complete information for important things to do and to know whilst traveling in Taipei, including the metro map of each route line, tourist attraction, tourist metro cards, recommended foods and activities, etc. Wow, honestly, I didn’t plan much about this first-time-in-my-life-trip in Taipei, but the map really helped me discover many more things to do In this wonderful cit impressively.

HHillary ShihEverything is good except they have specific floor accesibility for the elevator. Therefore need to spare out some time. Also, their check in time is 5pm instead of regular 2 or 3pm, I didn’t notice it until I reach there at 4pm. Their socket have Type G power sockets, which are the same British standard three-rectangular-pin outlets as in the UK, Malaysia and Singapore. Very convenient 👍 Big tv screen as well and provided water bottle

XXilinnnnGreat location, like 30m walk to one of the exit of Taipei main station (exit Y13). Simple buffet breakfast with dimsum and toast. I booked a 4 bed dorm, one bathroom is attached in the dorm room. Comfortable bed, feel firm and new.
Overall quite nice stay for a budget hostel with this value and location, not much to complain.

SShuxiaThe location is fantastic, right behind Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The elevators and front desk area look a bit dated, but the staff were decent. They put a large bed in the room, but because the room was small and the duvet wasn't warm enough, I got cold in the middle of the night and had to turn off the air conditioning. The kettle had dust and limescale marks. However, the bathroom was really clean, and the toilet was modern. I was genuinely surprised and impressed that the shower had two types of showerheads. It's a very good budget hotel. I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes.
The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.

Also because it's basement room, there is a constant musky smell emitting from the toilet and filled up the room pretty fast. Have request for a change of room but it is similar issue. Overall it's a comfortable stay near XMD but the room smell is pretty bad.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, and it's also close to Taipei Main Station. If you're taking the Airport MRT, I recommend exiting from Taipei Main Station A1, Exit 5. From there, you can walk straight to the hotel, which takes about 10 minutes (including waiting for traffic lights).
The nearby MRT stations are NTU Hospital Station (3-minute walk) and Taipei Main Station (7-minute walk). There are also many bus stops, making transportation very convenient.
Regarding the check-in experience, the hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and guest rooms for this hotel occupy floors 3-5. There are only two elevators, and since the building houses other businesses, waiting for an elevator can take a while.
The front desk staff were professional and efficient. Before check-in, there was about a minute-long 'rap' outlining the check-in policies.
The hotel bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. It seems to have been recently renovated, as it felt spacious and bright. Soundproofing was acceptable; I could still hear cleaning noises from outside and sounds from the adjacent room. I chose a room with a window this time, but the window couldn't be opened.
Amenities provided were limited to slippers and toilet paper. The shampoo and shower gel were a 2-in-1 product, with a light, pleasant scent and no strange odors.
Overall, it was a pretty good stay, even exceeding my expectations.

Cleanliness - It's clean, every morning, towels were changed, looking forward for beddings to be arranged too.
Service - Good Service. Easy to request additional pillow, umbrella etc.
Facilities are good too. Have Hot & Cold Shower, Have Blower, Have heater and hangers too.

AAnonymous UserThe room is very spacious! I was a bit bummed to not see at least one hanger in the locker, though. It's common to have at least one when the locker has the possibility to. Otherwise, remove it. As I was on the 6th floor, I was also a bit uncomfortable about leaving my room and having to walk past the reception to go to the bathroom area. But I understand that hostels around Taipei Main Station have to deal with the buildings' architecture. For the price, the location and the length of my stay, it wasn't entirely problematic.
