Hotels near MRT Dapinglin Station, New Taipei City

I specifically chose a hotel near an MRT station for the marathon. This hotel is near Jingmei MRT station, just a 3-minute walk away. There are signs on the first floor, and the hotel is on the third floor. The counter on the third floor looked very elegant and upscale. Since I booked through Ctrip, I got the key and checked in immediately after confirming my ID. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the layout wasn't cold or impersonal when I stepped out of the elevator, but the air felt a bit stuffy. You need a card to press the elevator buttons. The room door lock is a traditional key type, so be careful to double-lock it before going to sleep or leaving the room. Regarding cleanliness, I found a leftover plastic straw sleeve; I hope they can improve on this aspect. The room itself was standard, with everything you'd expect. The only issue was that the TV remote didn't work. I contacted the front desk to check, but it still didn't work. However, I could manually turn it on by pressing the power button on the back. I don't sleep with the TV on, so it didn't bother me. I suggest the hotel provide a spare power button. There's a night market and convenience store within a 3-minute walk of the hotel, which is very convenient. Overall, I'd give it a 90 out of 100. If I participate in another race next year, I'd consider staying here!

The location is great, with excellent transportation access; you can take the bus, and it's very close to the MRT station, just a five-minute walk away. There are also many restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient.

Aside from a slight smell of smoke—despite being advertised as a smoke-free environment, the smell of smoke was still overwhelming!—everything else was really good. The breakfast was decent, with vegetables and fruit. I really liked the large bathroom in the room, and they even provided snacks and instant noodles, which was great value!

The in-room hot spring was nice, and the water was hot enough. The hotel is a bit old and seems like it hasn't been renovated in a long time. They only provide two bottles of water in the room, and there were no slippers, toothbrushes, or shower caps. Breakfast was very mediocre.

This is an excellent hotel with fantastic service and a pristine environment. Definitely worth staying here! I would certainly book again for my next trip to New Taipei. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the surroundings are peaceful and comfortable, making it ideal for a relaxing rest. The hotel's facilities are also well-appointed, contributing to a very secure and comfortable stay.

Hands-down this was the most impressive hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Clean, quiet, safe, sparkling bathroom and excellent service; I was amazed to be offered super-soft cotton bedding usually only seen in 5-star hotels. It felt like high-thread count Egyptian cotton to me. How could this be, at such an affordable price for budget travelers? To boot, the hostel even offered free breakfast coupons, free (self-serve) high quality coffee, free detergent for self-serve laundry, shoe-drying machines for when your shoes are wet from rain, and a 10NTD per 5-minutes smart-massager, that was bliss, I really needed that. Shiatsu on a literal dime! This hostel was so good, and true! The staff were courteous and even handled a large and excitable school group with love and kindness. Honestly, I slept so peacefully for two nights, when I expected to be bothered by fellow bunk-bed roommates. Everyone in the room was courteous. The bunk bed was spacious, air conditioned, private, and even had a night light, small mirror and handy shelf for your phone and room card-key. I highly recommend Park City Inn! They have private rooms, too, if you need 💯 privacy. Go for it! Location is 10 seconds from the Metro exit 1, I think, at Dingxi, a bustling area with a traditional market right downstairs behind McDonald’s.

1) The location is really right next to the new store station, to add points. Bitan Scenic Area is also located next door and must be added. When you go to Bitan Scenic Area, you can walk on the suspension bridge and ride a jet ski, which is quite relaxing. 👍👍👍 2) The room is quite comfortable, I booked a four-person family room this time, the room has massage chairs, two double beds, seven hundred dollars a night, I think OK. The bed was also comfortable to sleep on, the mattress pillows and duvet made for a good night's sleep. A very large window overlooks the outside Bitan Scenic Area, which makes the person in a better mood. 👍👍👍 3) This price also includes four portions of breakfast, not very high-end things, but very suitable for me to eat, ultimately with some of its very local breakfast, gluten plus beans and seaweed, taste good and healthy, some white porridge is good, with bread and coffee. The place for breakfast is on the 8th floor, overlooking the Bitan Scenic Area 👍👍👍 4) I was most dissatisfied with the fact that there was no USB plug in the room, but the counter did not provide chargers. Why can't it be so simple to prepare? This I think is unacceptable... I ended up having to use the USB on the back side of his TV to charge it, but it was super super slow 💔 5) The uncle at the front desk (the one in the morning), very polite, smiling face, I arrived early, he not only checked-in earlier than me, but also gave me two rooms to choose one, so that we feel a bonus🎰

No breakfast provided with our booking, which made it rather price-unworthy. The facilities were nice and clean and staff were nice, tho. A short-time request to check-in 30 minutes earlier was denied.

Facilities: A bit old but very clean. Cleanliness: Excellent. Location: Convenient, with beautiful views. There are attractions and good food nearby, and buses to Muzha and Xindian are easily accessible. There's also a convenience store downstairs. Breakfast: Abundant and satisfying, with plenty of choices. Service: Good, with free parking available.

Great location near Taipei Artist Village, decently clean and quiet private room with private bathroom. Small kitchen downstairs where free breakfast of toast is offered.
