Twilight House

The place has a beautiful Japanese-style vibe and is very clean and well maintained. The balcony offers a lovely panoramic view of Jiufen, which really adds to the overall experience. I stayed here for one night and was very satisfied with the stay. I stayed in the Kanagawa Room located in the Kyushu Building. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and offered good value for money. One thing to note is that there are quite a lot of stairs to climb, and the homestay can be a little difficult to locate at first. However, the host provided detailed directions and was very responsive to messages, which made things much easier. Overall, I would definitely recommend this homestay for a short stay. A unique and memorable experience. Highly recommended.

This place was so clean!! I was very happy with how nice the place was, and the water pressure was SO GOOD. In the future, I would come again and pay extra for a room with the ocean view!

Small room but clean. The shocking thing is that the room password wasn't changed. Someone entered the wrong room but was able to use the password to open mine room.

I was looking for a cozy experience in Jiufen. I had a hard time choosing a hotel that felt perfect for me. I decided to stay at Twilight House. I had read that the hotel was up some stairs, but I don’t think I was prepared for just how many stairs I’d have to climb haha. The instructions for checking-in were pretty straightforward, and I received answers to my questions in a promptly manner. My room was very nice, I had liked the aesthetic from the pictures online. The only downfall was that the room had a musty smell. I communicated my concern through WhatsApp and an air freshener was left for me. I was a little disappointed that not even coffee packs were provided, but there are two green tea bags and small cheese bags. Overall, I had a decent stay. :)

I started communicate with the hotel via Line app 1eeek before travel Their response is quick and accurate The hotel also provided very clear instructions for the directions to the place, check in, check out, luggage storage etc. travellers that do not read instructions uand/or see the videos will have problems Overall, the hotel is comfortable, clean and beautiful We like it so much and would definitely stat again if we ever comeback to Jiufen

The room is beautiful and very clean, with an amazing view. Snacks and tea were provided and we really appreciated that there was a water filter (that can also provide hot water). The location is great for the view but it is a little bit of an uphill walk from the main Jiufen market area.
