"The smartest choice for our Lugu Lake trip was undoubtedly the lake-view room at Xingyeyunshe! Waking up to the lake right outside our window was so therapeutic. Listening to the gentle lapping of the water against the shore with the breeze, just sitting in the observation chair and zoning out felt incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse's amenities completely exceeded our expectations. The floor heating warmed up quickly and evenly, making it comfortable to walk barefoot. The air conditioning provided gentle cooling without being too harsh, and the humidifier kept our skin moisturized throughout our stay. Such a comfortable living experience at high altitude is truly rare. The room was spotless, not a speck of dust in any corner, no strange odors, and all facilities were brand new and fully equipped. Both comfort and the view were top-notch. The service was also incredibly thoughtful; they answered all our questions and even recommended some off-the-beaten-path activities. Next time we visit Lugu Lake, we'll definitely stay here again. It's a no-brainer, you won't regret it!"

"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip. I was traveling with my parents, and they both raved about it. I even shared photos with my friends to show off! We had such a great time at Lugu Lake!
First, the room photos – what you see is truly what you get. The hotel's promotional pictures are completely authentic, no filters or staged shots. The large windows offer stunning views of the sunrise, sunset, and even seagulls.
Second, the hotel's location is wonderfully secluded, right on the edge of Lugu Lake, so you're not bothered by road noise. It's perfect.
Third, it's very convenient for self-driving, with parking available and even charging stations!
Fourth, its proximity to the pier is a huge plus, making it super easy to catch the morning mist. We went to Lover's Pier, which is only seven kilometers from the hotel, and there's an even closer one.
Fifth, the bathtub came with thoughtful disposable liners! They even provided branded underwear detergent and body lotion, which was a lovely touch.
The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, helping with luggage and transportation. Being from Shandong, we're used to bigger breakfast portions, so when my parents weren't quite full, we contacted the staff and they happily brought us an extra bowl of rice noodles!"

"The hotel is on the mountain, so there is no noise on the street, quiet and good sleep. Good location, 3 minutes walk to the Rigg Peninsula. There is a backyard and parking is available. The decoration is simple and comfortable, with breakfast. The landlord said that there are very few tourists in the summer, so the room rate will be lowered, otherwise the room rate will double in the same period of the previous year, I believe it! We stayed for two days. It was raining when we set off around the lake. Because the construction vehicle occupied the road that was easy to walk, we could come out of another pit road that was pressed by the engineering car. The landlord’s father took an umbrella and gave us directions with concern, so that our hearts were warm!

"I called the owner three days before booking to cancel, hesitated, and ultimately didn't. I'm so glad I didn't cancel after arriving! There was a large double room available upon check-in, but the owner upgraded me – I have to say, the owner really got me! The lake view was fantastic; you could see water hyacinths and a small pier. The reeds and cosmos flowers were especially beautiful this season. It was very peaceful; there were people jogging and taking photos by the lake in the morning, but not many people, and the air was incredibly fresh. The owner looks a bit like Zhou Yiwei 😀 and is very welcoming!"

Looking at the lake bath in the morning, it was really good. Others: we brought our own meals and pots, and borrowed the boss’s kitchen to make a meal. Then right next to the ropeway, the scenery is really very, very good, I am really a little afraid of monkeys, so I didn't continue to climb up to the cave. You can ask the boss to help you book the ticket, you can have a discount of 10 yuan (but it is not recommended to take the slide, just do the ropeway)"
