This is, without a doubt, the best hotel in Lugu Lake. The location is superb, the views are stunning, the breakfast is delicious, and the service is excellent. From the repeated confirmations before our trip to the thoughtful service upon arrival, everything made our visit to Lugu Lake perfect. Each time we went out, the driver was already waiting for us. When a family member fell ill, Xiao Zhou drove us in the rain to find a clinic. When altitude sickness struck, they immediately brought us glucose and oxygen. Every detail reflects the hotel's rigorous service standards and showcases the quality and capability of all their staff. We were deeply moved.

The room offers an excellent view, directly overlooking the most beautiful part of Lugu Lake, perfect for taking amazing photos with afternoon tea. The guesthouse has three 20kW Nio charging stations, which are free to use. It took me four and a half hours to drive here from Shangri-La, and my car battery was running low. Being able to fully charge here meant I could comfortably reach the battery swap station near the highway to Kunming. The amenities were superb, far exceeding many high-end Hyatt and Marriott chain brands. Although I didn't stay at the Design Hotels across the way, I'm confident this place is better. They even offer free laundry service (not self-service), which significantly relieved a major worry for long-distance travelers.

Exceeded my expectations! The shuttle service was incredibly thoughtful; I didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment I got off the car until check-in. This is perfect for non-drivers! They even created a group chat a few days before arrival to send important notes and travel tips. So considerate and comfortable! The biggest surprise was their restaurant, which has a gorgeous observation deck. Watching the sunset while dining in the evening was absolutely magical! I honestly didn't want to leave. Highly recommend it!

This hotel left an extremely strong impression on my family! For the price point, the location and view from our room was amazing. The view is unblocked, and we had a nice walk by the lake. There is a cafe beside the hotel which served nice drinks and food. The view from the cafe was excellent, and we would highly recommend paying a visit there! The room had a nice, cozy feeling and a spacious balcony. There aren't many restaurants in this particular town, but the main town is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the hotel. However, the hotel is able to provide dinner! They have a several options to choose from like noodles and hotpot, and the prices are extremely affordable! The hotpot was really delicious as well, and the breakfast was scrumptious! In the morning, there will be dew above the waters of the lake, and the view is simply stunning. Overall, we had a really great experience here thanks to the helpful and friendly staff!

As the car drove into the narrow lanes of Luoshui Shang Village, the outside noise gradually faded, leaving only the gentle lapping of the lake against the shore. The hotel's exterior exuded a minimalist, forest-like quality, devoid of overly commercialized, flashy designs. Instead, it felt like a small courtyard nestled between the lake and mountains, quiet and relaxing. During check-in, the staff's warmth instantly melted away my travel fatigue. There was no rigid, formalized service; instead, they greeted me with the familiarity of an old friend, offered local herbal tea, and even shared the best spot to watch the sunrise the next day. They thoughtfully marked out lesser-known walking trails nearby – every detail spoke of genuine care. Pushing open the room door, I was immediately stunned by the view. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling window directly faced Lugu Lake, the water like a crumpled sapphire. Gamu Goddess Mountain shimmered in and out of view amidst the mist, and the evening glow painted the lake surface a warm orange, with even the wind carrying the crisp scent of the lake. The dry/wet separated bathroom was clean and tidy, and the toiletries had a faint herbal scent, leaving me completely relaxed after a shower. The table thoughtfully provided bottled water and local specialty snacks, and even a humidifier was pre-arranged, perfectly addressing the issue of the high-altitude dryness. But the most healing part was the morning. I was awakened at dawn by sounds from outside the window. After this trip, my friend and I agreed that next time we visit Lugu Lake, we must stay here again. My first review on Ctrip is dedicated to Muyu Guesthouse in Lugu Lake. As someone who doesn't like to do much research, I'm always afraid of being misled by online photos before booking. After browsing hundreds of hotels and guesthouses, I finally chose Muyu, which I suppose was fate. The result far exceeded my expectations: the entire guesthouse is decorated in warm orange tones, and every room exudes a cozy and romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the small garden on the first floor—among the guesthouses in the area, only Muyu has maintained its plants so meticulously, perfect for photos and for pets to play in. The short-haired landlady is efficient and warm, with a natural radiance in her conversation. From the spatial layout to the service details, her thoughtfulness is evident everywhere. Even the recommended local restaurants were a pleasant surprise. Lugu Lake is already a paradise worth visiting repeatedly, and Muyu's existence gives this longing a true home. After returning home, Mr. Z was inspired to write a poem for Muyu as a token of his gratitude: Muyu: Emerald green hills creep up the steps at dawn, the reed gates open to reveal a lush dew. Muyu The aroma of beans cooked in the spring fills the house; the cauldron, like clouds, is simmered, its surface shimmering like silk. Occasionally, mountain birds are called to add to the wild vegetables; sometimes, the moon shines on the fragrant cup. The most sentimental is the guest by the abyss, who rises at dawn to simmer a soup of fine, delicate ingredients.

Service: The service was excellent. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and since we checked in during the off-season, they upgraded our room and even provided afternoon tea. When we left, they gave us scented candles as a gift. We were quite forgetful and left some items behind, and the front desk staff, a lovely lady, reminded us and even drove them out to us. We bothered her twice, and we were truly touched, grateful, and a bit embarrassed at the same time 😂. Room: The upgraded room had a perfect view of Lugu Lake right from the window. Unable to sleep at night, I could lie in bed and gaze at the starry sky, and surprisingly, even managed to capture a sky full of stars through the window. The sunrise at around 6 AM was breathtaking, with the soft sunlight gently filling the room, allowing for a 'painless' sunrise viewing experience. This window alone makes it worth a five-star rating. Amenities: The hotel's terrace and restaurant offer fantastic views; just sitting there, eating, and daydreaming was a true pleasure. The breakfast was very generous, and both the elderly and children were very satisfied. Highly recommended!

The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is its lakeside location. Step two meters out the door and you're right by Lugu Lake. Sitting by the lake, sipping tea or coffee, or just staring off into space – I never wanted to leave, which is why I'm a repeat guest. We booked the family suite, which has an amazing lake-view balcony and a spacious living room with massive glass windows overlooking the lake. The room itself is very roomy, and the family suite even has two separate bathrooms with wet/dry separation, making it incredibly comfortable. I also want to commend the guesthouse's service team; the young staff drove us, proactively helped with luggage, and even brought refreshments to our room. Their service attitude was fantastic! Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and you could always ask for more if needed. Highly recommended! 👍

The hotel is located on the lakeside not far from the lake area. The balcony faces southeast. We arrived in the afternoon and saw the beautiful scenery of Lugu Lake. Lugu Lake is quiet and beautiful, just like this hotel and the hostess of the hotel. A girl, enthusiastic and sincere. We thought that afternoon tea was just a cup of tea and a few biscuits. But they had 4 kinds of fruits, French fries and chicken nuggets, and the tea was also a local specialty flower tea. It was very attentive at first glance. There were also desserts in the evening. The rice noodles for her breakfast were much better than those in most restaurants. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and the hot water in the bathtub is sufficient. It adds a lot of color to the trip to Lugu Lake. I look forward to going there again next time.

The lake view is absolutely stunning! Breakfast was served promptly and was very tasty. Taking a hot spring bath was particularly comfortable – pure bliss! We booked rooms with private hot tubs for both nights, which was incredibly relaxing. The place was also very clean. Plus, there's a street full of eateries right out the back door, making it super convenient to stay here in Daluoshui Village.
