"The moment I opened the door, I was stunned by the view outside the window – completely unobstructed! The door opens fully, and the balcony has a single pane of glass, making it a spot you just don't want to leave. The green beanbag chair is a huge bonus; it's so comfortable for reading, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery. The room itself was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The front desk staff were all very friendly, and I especially loved the butler, Zhima, who provided thoughtful and enthusiastic service. In the evenings, we could watch movies on the projector, and there was a great selection. I stayed at three different hotels around Lugu Lake for three days, and this one offered the absolute best views and experience. I was so sad to leave. Next time I have the chance, I'll definitely stay at Sancai Yunhe for more days!"

"I stayed at Eluodi for two nights, and it truly felt like living inside a beautiful landscape. The moment I opened the door, I was greeted by the lake view, sleeping right by the water. Waking up to the mist over the lake and falling asleep to the gentle lapping of waves at night, every moment felt like living in a painting. The guesthouse itself embodies Mosuo charm, with light, shadow, wood, and stone blending perfectly – every picture I took was stunning.
What made it even more special were the people. Cier, Zhaxi, and Yangsen were so thoughtful and naturally friendly, like old friends, adding many warm memories to my trip. If it weren't for my travel schedule, I would have loved to stay a few more days."

"Location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting lugu lake. Imagine waking up to the view of the lake and mountains.
The hotel is also fairly new with beautiful deco and they have prepared many thoughtful things include disposable towels, disposable bath tub towel, free daily afternoon tea and a short photoshoot. The front desk staff 阿文was also very helpful.
A couple of things I wished went better:
- breakfast: selection was quite limited and mainly Chinese food. Was not an issue for me as I typically don’t take breakfast.
- limited toilet paper: unfortunately my husband and I were down with food poisoning during the trip so the toilet paper quickly became a scarcity.
- inconsistent temperature in the shower: the shower on my first night toggled between icy cold and steamy hot even without me adjusting the temperature. Overheard from other guests that they had the same issue as well. The hotel thankfully was able to fix it on my second night.
- mattress was too hard, and it felt like I was sleeping directly on the floor… unfortunately the hotel didn’t have an option to add on a topper and it really affected my sleep quality during the two nights we were there. However, preference for a softer mattress is personal. Would have been nice if the hotel has toppers prepared for guests who prefer a softer bed.
Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and I’d recommend for anyone visiting lugu lake."

"Lugu Lake still feels quite untouched and not overly commercialized, with fewer crowds. This particular B&B, Shui Tian Yi She in Daluoshui Village, is excellent! [Strong recommendation] The room was spotless, even the sofa cushions in the living room were impeccably clean! It faces Lugu Lake and Gemu Goddess Mountain directly, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and entertainment. The staff at the B&B were all very kind. As soon as we entered the backyard after a day out, someone would come out to greet us, offer an umbrella, or ask if we needed a late-night snack or afternoon tea. They were very enthusiastic about helping with travel planning or arranging boat rentals, and the boat prices were reasonable. The room rates were also very good; our duplex room was 488 a night, and I felt it was even more comfortable than some rooms costing over a thousand! Families with children would love this type of room; even my 'big kid' son enjoyed playing games in the ball pit under the slide. Plus, there are three adorable cats at the property, and one of them loved coming into our room to play [chuckle]. Oh, and in the evenings, you can enjoy free live music with singing and guitar at the front desk bar."

"We experienced a power outage and a few minor issues during check-in, but Ms. Zhuoma, one of the staff members, communicated and handled everything promptly. She even thoughtfully offered a freshly brewed rock sugar pear soup to my friend who had a sore throat. The lake view is beautiful, and the humidifier running all night made a noticeable difference in reducing the dryness indoors. I highly recommend staying here!
My only suggestion would be to offer at least one non-spicy dish for breakfast. Overall, it was a great experience!"

"I brought my kids to Lugu Lake and was worried about the guesthouse's conditions before checking in. However, it completely exceeded my expectations and gave my kids so many pleasant surprises. Now I understand why it has so many good reviews! 👍
First, the service: every staff member was warm and polite. Someone always helped us with our luggage upon arrival and departure. Our 'Zhoma' (staff member) in particular was enthusiastic, thoughtful, and meticulous, truly making us feel at home! 👍
The hotel environment is truly excellent, right by the lake. Sitting on the balcony, sipping coffee and enjoying the lake view was incredibly relaxing. It was very quiet at night; besides the sound of the waves, there was hardly any noise. Even I, who has extremely high standards for sleeping environments, slept soundly until morning! 👍
The hygiene and cleanliness were even more impressive. You can tell the owner pays great attention to detail. All disposable amenities were provided, including disposable toilet seat covers, disinfectant wipes, and even feminine products. I didn't even need to use my own disposable items! 👍

"This guesthouse in Lugu Lake is truly an all-rounder, perfect for couples, families with children, or even multi-generational trips! It's located on the edge of Daloshui Village, offering a peaceful retreat while still being within walking distance to the main street for shopping and dining – incredibly convenient. Right outside, you'll find a stony beach leading directly to Lugu Lake, making it easy to stroll, admire the lake views, and spot the 'Water Willow' flowers. During this trip, I also saw guesthouses around Langfang Village, most of which were quite remote with limited amenities nearby. In comparison, for the same price point, this guesthouse is a no-brainer.
The guest rooms are also quite spacious for this price range, providing a comfortable and unconfined stay. The staff, particularly Yezi, offers thoughtful and attentive service, and the in-house dining is excellent – both the afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite. We were so satisfied with the overall experience that we extended our initial two-night booking by an extra night.
Considering its location, rooms, service, and food, there are absolutely no shortcomings. It's a very reliable choice when visiting Lugu Lake. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all fellow travelers!"

"The hotel's location is great, and it's beautifully decorated. The lobby is very picturesque and Instagrammable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The three-bed suite is perfect for large families, and the double balconies are a huge plus, offering unbeatable views directly facing the Goddess Mountain. The service and reception staff were all very polite and accommodating, always happy to help. Bottled water is readily available everywhere for self-service, which is super convenient. From the repeated confirmations before our trip to the thoughtful service upon arrival, everything made our visit to Lugu Lake perfect. Each time we went out, the driver was already waiting for us. When a family member fell ill, Xiao Zhou drove us in the rain to find a clinic. When altitude sickness struck, they immediately brought us glucose and oxygen. Every detail reflects the hotel's rigorous service standards and showcases the quality and capability of all their staff. We were deeply moved.

I absolutely loved the big lawn; it's great for photos, and just sitting there and unwinding is also a wonderful option. Guest UserThe room offers a stunning view of Lugu Lake, like a living painting outside the window. It's very close to Puluo Pier, making boat trips super convenient. The lakeside scenery is also beautiful, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner. The hotel itself has a charming design, complete with a small tent that feels like a secret hideout for kids. The downstairs restaurant is adorned with flowers, making every photo Instagram-worthy. In the distance, you can see Mount Gemu Goddess, which is especially beautiful in the evening. The hotel is located on a hillside, and a small path leads to the nearby forest where you can forage for mushrooms, especially the day after it rains, when there are plenty of wild ones. We couldn't identify them so we didn't dare eat them and ended up throwing them away, but the kids absolutely loved the experience of collecting them.

Guest UserThis hotel left an extremely strong impression on my family! For the price point, the location and view from our room was amazing. The view is unblocked, and we had a nice walk by the lake. There is a cafe beside the hotel which served nice drinks and food. The view from the cafe was excellent, and we would highly recommend paying a visit there! The room had a nice, cozy feeling and a spacious balcony. There aren't many restaurants in this particular town, but the main town is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the hotel. However, the hotel is able to provide dinner! They have a several options to choose from like noodles and hotpot, and the prices are extremely affordable! The hotpot was really delicious as well, and the breakfast was scrumptious! In the morning, there will be dew above the waters of the lake, and the view is simply stunning. Overall, we had a really great experience here thanks to the helpful and friendly staff!

ShixiaofuniyaThe room design is fantastic! It's very close to Lugu Lake, and you can even see the lake from the hotel. What a shame it rained on my second day, so I couldn't capture more beautiful shots of the hotel. The service here is attentive, and the facilities are excellent. The cats are adorable, and the breakfast is especially delicious. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here to make up for not getting those starry night and floor-to-ceiling window photos, haha!

Guest UserMy first review on Ctrip is dedicated to Muyu Guesthouse in Lugu Lake. As someone who doesn't like to do much research, I'm always afraid of being misled by online photos before booking. After browsing hundreds of hotels and guesthouses, I finally chose Muyu, which I suppose was fate. The result far exceeded my expectations: the entire guesthouse is decorated in warm orange tones, and every room exudes a cozy and romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the small garden on the first floor—among the guesthouses in the area, only Muyu has maintained its plants so meticulously, perfect for photos and for pets to play in. The short-haired landlady is efficient and warm, with a natural radiance in her conversation. From the spatial layout to the service details, her thoughtfulness is evident everywhere. Even the recommended local restaurants were a pleasant surprise. Lugu Lake is already a paradise worth visiting repeatedly, and Muyu's existence gives this longing a true home. After returning home, Mr. Z was inspired to write a poem for Muyu as a token of his gratitude:
Muyu: Emerald green hills creep up the steps at dawn, the reed gates open to reveal a lush dew.
Muyu The aroma of beans cooked in the spring fills the house; the cauldron, like clouds, is simmered, its surface shimmering like silk.
Occasionally, mountain birds are called to add to the wild vegetables; sometimes, the moon shines on the fragrant cup.
The most sentimental is the guest by the abyss, who rises at dawn to simmer a soup of fine, delicate ingredients.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and since we checked in during the off-season, they upgraded our room and even provided afternoon tea. When we left, they gave us scented candles as a gift. We were quite forgetful and left some items behind, and the front desk staff, a lovely lady, reminded us and even drove them out to us. We bothered her twice, and we were truly touched, grateful, and a bit embarrassed at the same time 😂.
Room: The upgraded room had a perfect view of Lugu Lake right from the window. Unable to sleep at night, I could lie in bed and gaze at the starry sky, and surprisingly, even managed to capture a sky full of stars through the window. The sunrise at around 6 AM was breathtaking, with the soft sunlight gently filling the room, allowing for a 'painless' sunrise viewing experience. This window alone makes it worth a five-star rating.
Amenities: The hotel's terrace and restaurant offer fantastic views; just sitting there, eating, and daydreaming was a true pleasure. The breakfast was very generous, and both the elderly and children were very satisfied. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located on the lakeside not far from the lake area. The balcony faces southeast. We arrived in the afternoon and saw the beautiful scenery of Lugu Lake. Lugu Lake is quiet and beautiful, just like this hotel and the hostess of the hotel. A girl, enthusiastic and sincere. We thought that afternoon tea was just a cup of tea and a few biscuits. But they had 4 kinds of fruits, French fries and chicken nuggets, and the tea was also a local specialty flower tea. It was very attentive at first glance. There were also desserts in the evening. The rice noodles for her breakfast were much better than those in most restaurants. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and the hot water in the bathtub is sufficient. It adds a lot of color to the trip to Lugu Lake. I look forward to going there again next time.

Guest UserThe lake view is absolutely stunning! Breakfast was served promptly and was very tasty. Taking a hot spring bath was particularly comfortable – pure bliss! We booked rooms with private hot tubs for both nights, which was incredibly relaxing. The place was also very clean. Plus, there's a street full of eateries right out the back door, making it super convenient to stay here in Daluoshui Village.
