The Phuntsok Khasang International Youth Hostel (Pingcuokangsang Qingnian Lvshe) is a Tibetan style hotel situated in downtown Lhasa, making transport to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Ramoche Temple highly convenient. This four-storey Lhasa hotel offers guests a venue to buy not only local specialties, but also items from India and Nepal, as well as books concerning Tibet, India and Nepal.
"This is my second stay at the Phuntshok Hotel. I stayed here once at the end of 2024 and had a really good impression, which is why I booked it again. However, this time the experience was far worse.
1. The towels and bath towels in the room haven't been updated in a long time; they felt dirty, which was quite unacceptable.
2. The breakfast restaurant has a nice view, but the food was terrible and completely didn't match the room's quality.
3. There was no parking available for cars, so we had to park at the mall across the street. Dragging luggage 200-300 meters was very inconvenient, and we had to pay for parking ourselves."
"Staying at Dongmawa Homestay was definitely the best decision I made on this trip to Tibet!
🏨The location is fantastic! From the rooftop terrace, you can have a complete view of the Potala Palace at night. Having dinner or afternoon tea with friends on the terrace while enjoying the view was incredibly pleasant!
The room amenities are comparable to a five-star hotel! It has a Dyson humidifier and hairdryer. There's also a washing machine with a dryer and a small refrigerator. The diffused oxygen supply helped me sleep soundly without worrying about altitude sickness.
Their breakfast was absolutely amazing—so plentiful! The owner was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and cozy, and the Tibetan-style decor was full of delightful surprises. I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lhasa!!"

"In the Year of the Horse, we are here to turn the mountain. Take a break in Lhasa. Book this hotel online. The decoration and facilities of this hotel are really worth giving five stars! From the lobby to the room, every detail can see the design intentions - modern and simple style with warm-toned soft decoration, both high-end and warm.
The facilities exceeded expectations: the mattress was moderately soft and hard, and the pillows had memory cotton and down. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the shower is fast and the water temperature is stable, and the most pleasant surprise is that there is a smart toilet.
Convenient location, fast service response, these will not be repeated, just by the quality of decoration and hardware, I have been transferred back to the mountain to directly re-order. Highly recommend friends in need!"
