Kameya-Rakan

Kameya-Rakan ★★★

📍 2 Chome-4-12 Yukawa, Ito

"The hot spring on the sixth floor was very comfortable; remember to bring your own towel – don't ask me how I know! We booked a Japanese-style room, and the bed was a bit firm. The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very polite. There's a McDonald's within 500 meters, and the railway station is a five-minute walk. Good value for money, recommended."

📍 Akazawa, 字浮山163−1, Ito

"The downside was that my 5 PM dinner reservation was inexplicably changed to 7 PM. The hot springs were very comfortable though. The transportation was genuinely inconvenient. Oddly enough, I bumped into a celebrity, but unfortunately, I didn't recognize who it was. 😂😂😂"

"I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast and dinner are excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Love the private hot spring in my room. The hotel provides free refreshments at different time slots. Love the ramen session. The hotel also provides shuttle to and from the station which is very thoughtful. Will definitely come again."

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Ito Hotel New Okabe

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Ito Hotel New Okabe ★★★★

📍 2-chōme-1-1 Sakuragichō, Ito

"A truly delightful hotel experience! First of all, the service was impeccable! The receptionist spoke fluent English, making communication easy. He introduced us to the floating lantern event and fireworks display that evening, thoughtfully providing a map with the event times and recommending several excellent spots to watch the fireworks. The facilities were comprehensive. Guests could rent yukata (light cotton robes) for free, available in various sizes and colors according to height; complimentary drinks and popsicles were available in the lobby; there were indoor and outdoor baths. The room was larger than expected, a traditional Japanese-style room with an entrance hall; three bathrooms, each with a small stool; in addition to the two beds outside, there were two more in the closet. Notably, the room door used a key system with a cleverly designed key that could be joined together with a magnet. The location was excellent. It was a 15-minute walk from Ito Station, and a 2-3 minute walk to the bus stop (the hotel also offered a shuttle bus to and from Ito Station); the beach was a 10-minute walk away. Good hotels in Izu and Atami are around 1000 yen, so I think this one offered exceptional value for money."

"The hotel is located close to the Ito downtown, we were driving so it wasn't an issue. There are plenty of parking at the hotel. The ryokan is well maintained, it doesn't feel old, the onsen are properly modernized and clean. The room is HUGE which, with many functional areas, it was very pleasant room. There is also a private onsen as well for family or couples for a small fee. The private onsen has a good traditional style to it and it was open-air . There are also a chair for old people and toys for kids, so it's well thought out. Many people seems to like to have their dinner at the private eating room on first floor, so we did the same. They had one service person per 2-3 rooms maybe so we were well serviced, and the guy was very nice. I remember meeting him for dinner, and he realized we can only speak English, so the next morning when we met him again for breakfast, it looks like he made note in his notebook so he can properly introduce the dishes to us in English. I could feel the dedication so thank you to the man."

Ito Onsen Otonashi No Moiri Ryokufuen

Ito Onsen Otonashi No Moiri Ryokufuen ★★★

📍 3-1 Otonashichō, Ito

"I usually come here for a day bath, but today the funky woman at the front desk had a bad customer service attitude, and it ruined the relaxing feeling of a holiday where I was trying to heal and get rid of fatigue, and I was irritated from the morning. No smiles, no expressions, no thanks...first of all, as a person. It was that kind of feeling. The manager and other people are always smiling and kind, but because of this one person, the image of a good inn is tarnished. I would like to request education as soon as possible."

"The room is very big and comfortable. The view is also very good. Everything is perfect. There are Chinese service and butlers. The station is free for pick-up. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are very good. Eat until you are full. The chef will come out to greet you. The hot spring water is a little too hot. The children can't get down. The service is also very good. There is welcome tea and dessert. Everything is very exquisite"

"Two days and one night stay, Japanese-style room with two beds in the main building, with a semi-open-air bath, dinner and breakfast included, for two people. The hotel is a little hard to find. If you are using a car navigation system, make sure you look for the sign for the guest parking lot, "Ito-shi Sakuragaoka 2-chome 4-13," or the sign on the electric pole from Minami-Ito Station. When you arrive at the parking lot, someone will be there to guide you to your parking space. While you are there, a waitress will come and help you with your luggage, but since the hotel is on a hill, it can be a bit daunting to have heavy luggage carried for you. The hotel is located in a residential area, so the entrance is It is not visible from the parking lot, and its appearance is more like a traditional Japanese inn than a hotel, and it has a dignified atmosphere. After entering, we took off our shoes and went up to a Japanese-style room with a cypress counter. We checked in and enjoyed matcha tea and sweets, and took a break. The room was on the second floor and we were moved by elevator, but we had to go down a few stairs to get to the main building. The room was quite spacious for two people, and the waitress explained that there was a disaster kit to take out in case of a disaster. There was also emergency water in the toilet. We also went to the large public bath, which was open and spacious. After bathing, we were given a drink. We ate what was on hand. The drinks were different in the evening and in the morning. They would call us when the meal was ready. The menu for the private dining room changes monthly, but we were able to choose one of five dishes as a token of appreciation, and one of three dishes for the meal. We had both hot and cold dishes, and there was a fair amount of food, so we were full and delicious. They offered us some midnight noodles in the evening, but we were too full so we gave up. The hot spring in our room was a little warm, so we were able to stay in for a long time. It was quiet, probably because it was surrounded by trees, and we could occasionally hear the sound of trains in the distance. Breakfast was served in the same place, starting at 8:00, but they made an effort to accommodate (we wanted to leave earlier). The freshly cooked rice was delicious, and we could choose as many as we wanted from four side dishes, and we were told we could have seconds. There was grilled fish, but it was really tasty when heated on a charcoal grill. On our way back, we checked out at the front desk and had our luggage carried to the parking lot. It was a rare Japanese-style inn, with staff in kimonos these days. Recommended for those who want to relax and enjoy high-quality service and hot springs."

"The hotel is very close to the train station, just a few minutes' walk away. The room was spacious, a single room with a beautiful sea view from the window. There's a fridge in the room, and even ice cubes in a thermos."

Laforet Ito Onsen Yunoniwa ★★★★
"The room was spacious and came with a private hot spring bath. Just a heads up, you'll need to pay extra for disposable toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs, so it's best to bring your own – which we did. It had a nice mix of a Japanese-style living room and a Western-style bed, offering plenty of space for our belongings. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, and we also found most of the dining options near there. We didn't go to the public outdoor onsen since we had a child with us, but it seemed popular with locals. The service was quite good, though they weren't very prompt in replenishing used towels and water bottles."
