Yokikan
"It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners. When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!"
Kameya-Rakan
"Convenient location to the Ito train station, nice tatami room with sea view The hotel staff are very friendly, helping me retrieve the belongings I've left behind after my room check out"
Kamenoi Hotel Izukogen
"Hot spring is nice and the restaurant is good"
Hotel yoshino
"Excellent experience 👍 The staff, mostly elderly gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly gentle and polite, always greeting me when I came and went. There was a Chinese introduction available, and while I pointed out a few typos to the staff hoping for future corrections, it wasn't a major issue. The typical Japanese bedding was very clean. They even wiped down my suitcase upon entry, which was a nice touch. It was a really great experience, and I'd definitely choose this place again if I come back. I heard from the izakaya owner that their meals are also good, so I might try them next time."
Izu Kougen Hanare Yado Yoshizumi (Kids 12 and under not allowed)
"The staff is very friendly and they try to accommodate our food diet request. Room is big and spacious and both osen is very comfortable."
Akazawa Onsen Hotel
"The downside was that my 5 PM dinner reservation was inexplicably changed to 7 PM. The hot springs were very comfortable though. The transportation was genuinely inconvenient. Oddly enough, I bumped into a celebrity, but unfortunately, I didn't recognize who it was. 😂😂😂"
Hotel Redent Ito
"The room was bigger than i thought! The staff was very nice and kind, helped me with my luggage and gave a towel because it was a rainy day! Definitely stay here again!"
Mori no yu Kira No Sato 【Reopening on December 22, 2025】
"The room was spacious and the hot springs were great. They even offered free ramen as a late-night snack, which was a lifesaver since I couldn't find any open restaurants nearby in the evening. The only downside was the very limited shuttle service. I ended up having to drag my suitcase uphill to the hotel and then back down to the station the next morning, working up a sweat twice. I knew public transportation in Izu Kogen wasn't the best, but it was still a shame the shuttle wasn't more convenient."
Ito Kowakien
"I stayed at this hotel for one night from March 14th to 15th, 2026. I initially chose this hotel because its price was more attractive compared to other hot spring inns in Ito City. After check-in, I selected a yukata (light cotton robe) and toiletries before heading to my room. Complimentary hot coffee, tea, sparkling wine, and steamed buns were available next to the yukata, but unfortunately, the buns were sold out when I checked in, so I didn't get a chance to try them. The room was spacious and clean, and Japanese sweets were served on the table, which I enjoyed. The hot spring bath water flows directly from the hot spring, so I could enjoy soaking for most of my stay. I usually soaked twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. There are three different types of baths available: a warm water bath, a hot water bath, and an open-air bath. There's also a hot spring bath at the entrance where you can drink the water directly. Considering the hot spring, the room, the location, and the service, I would stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity to return to Ito City."

Hotel Ito Powell
"Perfect for a short stay."
Beach Commune Simploose (Adult Only)
"Great hotel with a great view and onsen"
Oyado Ichigonie27
"The hosts were super friendly and welcomed in front of the alley to the hostel. They were kind and answering messages quickly. The hostel is located near the JR station so it was convenient. The neighbourhood is a small town; and not many restaurants or tourist spots located so I enjoyed the quiet night. The restaurants that the hosts recommended were Chuka food restaurant; Taiwan style foods were super cheap and delicious. I was travelling to Ito city but I felt that staying at a hostel one station from Ito Station was an excellent choice. I was heard that people mostly book from Airbnb app, and I am the trip.com user. Hope a lot more people can see this and book this warm welcoming hostel."
Smart Stay ITO 301
"When I arrived, at 7 o'clock in the evening, the staff still helped open the apartment door, the service was very good, the surrounding supermarket seafood and Heniu were very good."
Abba Resorts Izu - Zagyosoh
"The hotel is located in a remote area. There seems to be nothing to consume around it except for the natural scenery. You can ask the hotel car to pick you up at the station when entering and leaving the hotel! The room is a bit old, maybe it was built a long time ago, but the environment and hot spring facilities are still very clean and comfortable! Worth experiencing!"
Toushinan Komeya
"From the moment I entered the room, I could often hear something like the sound of a noisy train, and especially when I was resting in bed, it echoed on the wall above me, making it difficult to rest at all. In the end, it turned out to be the sound from the sliding door of the private dining room, and it had been going on from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and from 7:00 AM. It was a very disappointing stay. Tired and taking a bath? I didn't even go there. The food menu looks delicious, but the chef who decides the taste was probably absent? The only thing that was delicious was a small piece of mentaiko. I liked the Kyoritsu inn in Hakodate, but the quality of the accommodation varies."
Kawana Hotel
"The room type and price are wrong"
Ito Ryokuyu
"If they can reserve the dinner for late arrival will be better"
Ito Hotel Juraku
"I thought the hospitality of the hotel staff was wonderful. Both staff members offered to take photos for me, and everyone greeted me with a smile at the buffet, so I was able to spend a very pleasant time. I would definitely use the hotel again."
lenessa jougasaki
"The staff was fantastic! They helped with transfers to the station and shops, and answered any questions. They were very responsive! I highly recommend staying here."
Hotel Village Izukogen
"Amazing facility with clean, spacious and modern rooms. The buffet had an excellent variety of food and seemed to be great quality. Check-in staff were very helpful and kind."
Hotel Ravie Kawaryo
"The room is large, and it's within a 10-minute walk from Riyi East Railway Station, so transportation is convenient. Dinner is quite rich, breakfast is just average. Overall good value for money."
oyado wondefull
"The boss is very nice and friendly to travelers. I stayed in a Japanese-style room this time (with a single bed in it). The room is quite large (with a private toilet, but you have to take a shower in a public bathroom). It feels like it can accommodate four people. You can also take a hot spring bath in the bathroom on the first floor. Since no one was there for the two days I stayed, I enjoyed the hot spring alone. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the hotel to Izu Kogen Station, and 5 minutes by car. The boss also took me to Izu Kogen Station every morning. Thank you so much. He also has a very cute dog at home. In short, I feel that the cost-effectiveness is super high. I strongly recommend everyone to stay!"
Southern Cross Resort
"Renewed because I like the hot spring and breakfast here. It would be better if the price was more affordable."
Hinata, a Warehouse Inn Overlooking the Ocean.
"The hotel's breakfast and dinner were delicious! After breakfast, they'll ask if you'd like coffee ☕, and the hand-drip coffee was fantastic 💪🏻. If you're not driving, you should check the traffic situation beforehand, as the hotel's location is a bit hard to find. It seems more suitable for those traveling by car. Overall, it's a very good hotel!"
