Great
CCaobaogangThe hotel is not located near any public transportation. It is less than 10 minutes by taxi from Izu Kogen Station. We arrived at Izu Kogen Station around 11 am and called the hotel. The hotel replied that they could not pick us up and would send a car after 3 pm. We could only take a taxi to the hotel and then store our luggage. We would check in after 3 pm. We planned to go to Omuro Mountain first. The hotel staff said that they could not send a car to Omuro Mountain and asked us to walk to the nearest bus stop, which was said to be about 800 meters and about 10 minutes. However, we walked all the way uphill and it took us almost half an hour. We almost got heatstroke. Then we took the bus and arrived at Omuro Mountain in one stop. We returned to the hotel and took a taxi. We went back to the hotel to discuss check-out the next day because we had to catch a train at around 7 o'clock the next day. We asked if the hotel could send a car to take us at 6:30, but the answer was no. We asked the hotel to help book a taxi. At first, they said that they might not have one because it was too early and that they couldn't contact us... Later, the taxi company replied that they could have a car, which made us feel relieved. In summary, the hotel's shuttle bus only operates around 3 p.m., so if you need to catch an early or late bus, it's best to book a bus in advance. Also, the hotel staff's English proficiency is relatively low.
GGuest UserThe owners of the hotel are very friendly, although sometimes they cannot communicate in English. Fortunately, there is a translation app to help. The meals they provided were also very rich and delicious, and they gave us the chopsticks we picked when we checked in as a gift before we left. The only disadvantage is that the location is relatively remote. If you travel by car, it will be no problem. Otherwise, you have to take a taxi to get in and out, but good things are always difficult to find, so it is still highly recommended.
GGuest UserMy family booked a triple room, but the owner moved us to room 205, which has twin beds and a tatami mat. The room is spacious enough for 5-6 people. It also has a kitchen. Drinks are free in the lobby on the first floor, making it a pleasant place to sit and play games in the evening. From Izu Kogen Station to the hotel, you'll need to schedule a pick-up or take a taxi. The roads are narrow and uphill, making it difficult to lug luggage. The area is quiet, with a view of the sea.
FFu Sheng WOONIf you plan to stay in this area, you’ll need your own transport, like a rental car. The breakfast buffet has lots of tasty options and comes with a nice sea view in the morning. The private onsen costs JPY 3,500 per hour, and the experience was excellent. The front desk staff are very polite and friendly. Many local Japanese people choose this hotel for their vacations.
GGuest UserMinistry house は, low evaluation.
The size, cleanliness, and cleanliness of the accommodation room are fine, but the footsteps that keep dropping your feet from your heels to the floor are noisy. It is unclear whether the next door is the footsteps of employees like a cooking room or the sound of the upper room.
In addition, the light of the corridor came in from the Shoji of the bed, and it became dark at the time of bed, and the sleep became shallow.
Check-in was in the evening, and the room was equipped with fluorescent lights and I didn't know, but the sunlight hardly entered, so I noticed that the light in the corridor was designed to take in the room. When I understood that the room was pitch black without turning on the fluorescent light at 9 am. There was a sweeping window and another window, but the cause of the light not entering is that the outer structure is covered so that the visibility from the outside and the piping outside the main building cannot be seen.
The open-air bath in the room was good, but the method of mounting insect repellent needs to be reconsidered. The large communal bath is too hot for both the inner and outer baths to take a bath. I tried the hot water, but it was not good.
I felt that the amount of dinner was small, but I think that the method of providing the selection type cooked rice was not a bowl, but a bowl, and instead, breakfast was served with a bowl, and I was full because I was able to refill the rice.
I ate the night soba served at Dome Inn for the first time, but it was delicious.
Generally, it is a good inn except for the room, but I don't want to stay in that room again.
