The room facilities were decent, and the cleanliness was good. It's a shame I was too tired to try the hotel's hot spring; that's my only regret."

"I originally planned to leave a 5-star review because the hotel itself has a very nice, cozy atmosphere. However, I ended up extremely disappointed due to something being stolen during housekeeping service. I travel frequently and stay in hotels often, so I’m usually very careful. This time, I didn’t bring many valuables with me, so I didn’t lock my suitcase when I went out. I had bought a few items from a drugstore and left them in the room. When I came back, one of the three packages was missing. I assume they didn’t take everything to avoid suspicion. I’m usually very cautious about housekeeping and potential loss of belongings, which is why I selected the “do not disturb / no cleaning” option. However, this hotel requires daily cleaning of the in-room hot spring bath. Since I booked a top-floor room with a private onsen, the front desk informed me that staff would still enter the room to clean it. I never expected that even opened, low-value cosmetics would be taken. The missing items were worth over $60. While it’s not a huge amount, it still feels very upsetting. The hotel itself is fine, but please be very careful with your belongings if you stay here. If you leave the room, make sure to take your valuables with you. The safe in the room is extremely small and cannot hold much. Overall, this experience was very disappointing."

"On the first day, we arrived at JR Ito Station after 6 PM. I tried calling the hotel but no one answered, so we had to take the Ito Kyuko Line. After getting off, we walked for over ten minutes with our luggage. Both of us are over seventy, and we were quite exhausted. I suggest extending the pick-up service until 8 PM. However, after checking in, we were very satisfied with all the services."

"This was the best, albeit the most expensive, hotel we stayed at during this trip. The front desk had Chinese maps and instructions, which were very helpful and easy to understand. It's a perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation. **Location:** I'd say it's in rural Japan. There's a shuttle bus to Izu-Kogen Station, no reservations needed. However, the last shuttle from the bullet train station is at 5 PM, and the last one from the hotel is at 12 PM. **Dining:** We booked a package with breakfast and dinner. There's a lovely lady in the restaurant who speaks Chinese and explains how to enjoy Japanese cuisine. The hotel also offers complimentary snacks from 5 PM to 10 PM. If you don't book meals, you could bring some convenience store food and enjoy the free ramen – dining options around aren't very convenient. **Hot Springs:** They have both a public bath and private onsen, both free of charge. You don't need to reserve the private onsen; just grab the sign at the entrance to indicate it's occupied, and return it when you're done soaking. **Environment:** It's a serene and peaceful Japanese-style building nestled in the mountains."

"The hotel was great – very clean with excellent service. Parking was 500 yen per day, and you could come and go as you pleased. My girlfriend wasn't feeling well, so we asked for a late check-out, and they were accommodating. Since the hotel was full, they allowed us to check out half an hour later, which was really helpful. Overall, it's a very good hotel. Just be aware that if you're taking the Ito Line, trains only run every half hour, so missing one means a long wait."

"The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to and from Izu Kogen. Shuttles to the station depart hourly starting at 9:30 AM, and pickups from the station start at 2:30 PM, also hourly. No reservations are needed, so just show up a bit early to catch it. The hotel's location is decent. It's not right on the beachfront, but it's situated on higher ground, offering views of the distant mountains and sea. However, visibility might be poor on cloudy days. The private indoor onsen is fantastic. They also provide free self-service washing machines and dryers, which is a huge plus for travelers needing to do laundry – super convenient! The breakfast buffet is pretty standard and doesn't change much. They start ushering guests out promptly at 9:30 AM. We had two different dinners; one was delicious, the other was just okay. In the afternoon, there are complimentary snacks, drinks, and even ice-cold beer, which was light, refreshing, and really hit the spot. Overall, it's a good accommodation option in the Izu Kogen area. BTW, if you have some extra time while waiting for your train at Izu Kogen Station, there's a Teddy Bear Factory nearby worth checking out, with lots of adorable bears. During our stay, there was also a Totoro exhibition with a workshop where you could make your own Totoro!"

"I made a same-day reservation at this newly opened resort guesthouse. It comes with an open-air hot spring bath and a private bathroom in the room. It was incredibly clean and in a quiet location, with parking for over 7 cars. There's an Italian restaurant next door, which was great for an evening drink. It was a wonderful trip! 😊 The staff were kind, polite, and thoroughly explained all the services. "🌊All the wonderful memories of this trip stem from this charming little hotel in Izu~ ✨The sunrise over the sea visible from the room; the sunlight streaming through the arched windows, turning the wallpaper a honey color; the little restaurant that seems straight out of a manga; the breakfast bathed in sunlight; the beautiful green view from the window at the end of the stairs; the quiet open-air hot spring; and the warm and thoughtful service from the host! Returning to Tomigo Station every day felt like coming home, and I was reluctant to leave~ I want to come back again! · 🌿Although it's a small hotel, during my stay, I could feel the host's efforts to provide thoughtful service: ▫️When researching Izu, everyone mentioned that local public transportation is inconvenient, with few services, requiring careful planning. This hotel solves this big problem by offering pick-up and drop-off services to nearby attractions (advance booking required, reasonable price, Chinese communication available), saving a lot of time! ▫️Mount Omuro, Kinosaki Coast, and the Cactus Zoo are all within a 10-minute drive~ The host has a fantastic list of recommended restaurants (I tried several and they were all delicious!), and can also provide reliable information on public transportation to the surrounding area. (The shuttle service from Futo Station is free twice, once during check-in and once during check-out!) · 🛎 What I want to praise most is the laundry service! In the morning, simply put your clothes in the laundry basket, and in the evening, the staff will bring the washed and dried clothes back to your room for only a 300 yen service fee each time! I'm so grateful!! No need to wait in front of the coin-operated washing machines; you can save time to go out and have fun, and when you come back, your clothes are clean!!! Thank you!! ▫️ Hot and cold drinking water is thoughtfully provided in the hallway common areas, so you don't need to go down to the restaurant to get water. ▫️ Eye masks, earplugs, and other small amenities are thoughtfully provided in the room. · ☕️ I really love the first-floor common area. The right side has a sun-drenched floor-to-ceiling window, and in late autumn, you can even see some red leaves. Sitting by the bed every day having breakfast (simple but delicious!) already puts me in a good mood. The back window of the restaurant bar on the left offers a view of green trees. They serve drinks and small bottles of wine in the evenings, and you can also order a hand-drip coffee in a pretty glass. Every day after my soak in the hot spring, I use the tables and chairs in the common area to organize my photos from the day. ▫️The open-air private hot spring can be booked for 50 minutes daily. The accompanying changing rooms and showers are very clean and tidy. I don't usually like hot springs, but it was so refreshing in the cool autumn air. From the small pool, you can see the maple trees and stars outside. · ☀️Our room had a white-framed arched window. After the lights were turned off at night, the moonlight shone through the semi-circular glass onto the roof. It sounds old-fashioned, but it was truly beautiful. In the morning, the window casts a honey-colored sunlight onto the beams, and you can sit up in bed and see the sunrise over the shimmering sea in the distance. You can brew a cup of hot tea and enjoy a peaceful morning in Izu on the small balcony. The only slight regret about this trip was not staying an extra day; we just stayed in the hotel, relaxing, drinking beverages, and looking at the sea from the balcony."

"Followed the navigation for about ten minutes to get there. You take off your shoes at the entrance and change into slippers before entering. Check-in was smooth with instructions in Chinese. We quickly confirmed the dinner and breakfast times and locations. We chose to have it in our room, and they called beforehand to confirm if we were ready. After eating, we just put the dishes back in the box and left it outside the door. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The portions were also very generous. They offer luggage storage. We went to the hot springs both in the evening and in the morning – so relaxing! Of course, we paid the hot spring tax when checking out. Highly recommend."
