Unexpectedly, at this price point, it comes with two private hot springs, one indoor and one outdoor.
The environment is fantastic, and the room is well-equipped. The complimentary drinks and snacks are also unique.
The staff can speak Chinese and are very warm and friendly.
The only drawback is that the location requires a car or private hire.
It's not far from Mount Omuro, the zoo, and Jogasaki Coast, all within a 15-minute drive.

MM11204****After returning from Japan, I felt that this was the hotel I stayed in the most satisfying way. The hotel doesn't have many rooms, so it's never crowded. There are about five or six onsen (hot spring) rooms, which lock and light up when guests enter, making them like private baths. We booked a twin room, which wasn't very large, but had everything we needed. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with a bus stop just a few hundred meters away. There's also a convenience store nearby. I'd like to praise the hotel's breakfast and dinner the most. The staff will discuss meal times with you and prepare them in advance. They were delicious and exquisite. Breakfast included freshly grilled flounder, and dinner was a kaiseki meal. We booked two nights, and each meal was different, which was a real surprise. This hotel's blind box promotion was a huge success!

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay. It's an eight-minute walk from Izu Kogen. After checking in, the hotel explained all the features in detail. The bathrooms are shared, but there are multiple rooms, so even when the hotel is fully booked, it wasn't crowded. They were also very clean. The hotel also recommended great restaurants nearby, including Daiso, a supermarket, a drugstore, and BR Ice Cream. The next day, the hotel owner drove us to Mount Omuro. A taxi from Jogasaki Coast back to the hotel was only 1990 yen, which was also very cost-effective. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, and I would choose it again if I were to visit again.

VVegan 美味しいI had a fantastic experience at Forest Glaming! The staff, including Mr. Terada & the cool dude with long hair, were not only incredibly friendly but also made an effort to communicate with me in English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Japanese. Despite missing the shuttle bus, Mr. Terada kindly came to pick me up. The resort is a serene haven, offering tranquility and the cleanest toilets I've ever encountered. ✨Being tented near the shower and toilet facilities was an added bonus. 😮💨The food was outstanding, especially the aged domestic beef 🍖 BBQ. The only disappointment was not having the chance to share the wonderful dinner with the staff. I totally recommend Forest Glaming to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape with exceptional service and facilities. The staff's warmth and willingness to engage in different languages truly enhanced my stay. Fantabulous!!! 😍🥰

Environment: Located on an uphill slope, surrounded by residential areas, it's very quiet. You can also see the ocean horizon from the room, which is beautiful.
Service: The service is very Japanese and thorough, they try their best to meet your requests. The front desk staff's English is also good, and they explain the hotel's facilities and restaurants in detail.
Food: The buffet at the restaurant is quite good.

GGweiThe hotel is located in Izu Kogen. After getting off at Izu Kogen Station, there will be a hotel shuttle bus, but you have to pay attention to the time. The hotel will notify you by email for the specific time. Although the distance from the station to the hotel is not far, don't try to walk there, because there are too many ups and downs, and it is impossible to walk with luggage.
After checking in, the hotel will introduce the facilities in detail. As for bathing, there are three private baths to choose from, of different sizes. The public bath is divided into indoor and outdoor, with dry steam, and free Yakult and popsicles are available at the door.
Regarding hotel meals, it is recommended to choose one night and two meals. Breakfast is divided into Japanese and Western. It is recommended to choose Western. Most people are not used to Japanese breakfast. Dinner has shabu-shabu and barbecue, depending on the hotel's arrangements on the day. In addition, free ramen is provided as a midnight snack from 22:00 to 23:00.

GGuest UserMy family booked a triple room, but the owner moved us to room 205, which has twin beds and a tatami mat. The room is spacious enough for 5-6 people. It also has a kitchen. Drinks are free in the lobby on the first floor, making it a pleasant place to sit and play games in the evening. From Izu Kogen Station to the hotel, you'll need to schedule a pick-up or take a taxi. The roads are narrow and uphill, making it difficult to lug luggage. The area is quiet, with a view of the sea.

GGuest UserOverall this hotel's location is perfect for 1-3 days stay, but for longer stay you will need to take a taxi everywhere, its located too far. Even closest 7-11 is 1h walk away!
Everything was fine, the room for 3 was enourmous, clean and fresh. Its located right at the zoo entrance, with a discount for zoo tickets.
The only problem is its location - every restaurant around closes at 5 pm, so quite inconvenient. Even when we were looking on Google maps for an open restaurants and it said they were open - they were closed in reality. Spent almost 2h looking for food))
So you better ask hotel staff to find you a place to eat, even better if they call in a restaurants.

DDongguaxuanHow should I put this? I came to experience the Hoshino Resorts Kai brand, and overall, everything from the facilities and ambiance to the service and food justified the 5k price tag. However, for 5k, you could also book a hotel with a private onsen. This particular hotel is more suited for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. I wouldn't really recommend it for families with children, possibly due to privacy concerns. The hotel lobby itself was hard to find, and getting there would be quite a hassle without a car or private transfer. The meals also weren't very kid-friendly; my children didn't eat well for either breakfast or dinner.

GGuest UserVery nice place, nice staff, delicious breakfast. There is not a single grocery store nearby and no cafe at all, I had to buy BPs, thank God that you can buy them and some other products at the hotel. The view of the sea is gorgeous, but from the sea it is quite far downhill, then it will be difficult to climb. The hotel itself is also on a hill from the railway station. Keep this in mind for those who are not ready to carry suitcases up steep stairs.
