"I booked a sea-view room, and while you can see the ocean, it's not a full sea view as there are other hotels in front. The biggest highlight of this hotel is its incredible design, with a color palette that's really visually striking. Breakfast offers both indoor and semi-outdoor seating, and besides the buffet, you can also order some freshly prepared items. The service was good!"

"I had a very pleasant stay at Palm Inn Hotel Doha. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. The hotel facilities were well maintained, and I appreciated the smooth check-in process and the comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. The only drawback for me was the location, which was slightly inconvenient for accessing some major spots in the city. However, aside from that, everything else was nearly perfect and I genuinely enjoyed my time at the hotel."

"This is already a repeat stay. The hotel isn't far from dining options by taxi, and it's also close to the airport. The only downside is that it's a bit old, and some of the facilities are a bit dated. However, the breakfast is delicious! I love the warm bread, especially with an omelet inside, and I really enjoy the fragrant nuts."

"I lived in Doha many years ago, so I booked the rooms in this hotel for the location which is excellent. I have also paid a good rate as I booked those quite in advance (about 50 quid per night, per room). Unfortunately our staying was not that great. I am not really happy to write this review, because all the staff are extremely polite, courteous, and well mannered, all of them, really nice staff. However, feedback and reviews are given 'here and now', so to better describe the circumstances encountered during the visit. PROS - Very easy/hassle free check in/out, strong wi-fi, polite staff, super location, amenities near by and on site, comfy bed, super shower, overall cleanliness of the hotel. CONS - Upon check in, I asked for two rooms not near the lifts, as it could get busy and noisy. The receptionist said 'ok no problem' and, guess what, one room was far from the lifts, but my one was right next to it. Upon entering the rooms, in my room the bath mat was missing and I had to call them asking for one. In the other room, there was a tray with food leftovers in the fridge. Considering that the rooms were just been cleaned up, it is really bad. We had to call the house-keeping to have it removed and the fridge cleaned. The hair drier is kinda secured/clipped to the wall and it cannot be taken to the bath. I asked how we are supposed to dry our hairs if the drier is not in front of the mirror, they replied 'use the TV screen as a mirror!'. The coffee mugs and drinking glasses were never changed or washed, we had to wash them ourselves. On the kitchenette top, there was some coffee powder, that was never wiped off during our entire stay. Once back in the room, on the first evening, I realized that there were 3 pillow cases missing out of 4. I had to call them up asking to bring some and put them on. The house keeping were always missing something everyday, and we had to call them many times. The lifts are key-operated but they only allow the guests to their room floor. Mine was on 9th floor, the other was on 7th floor. We had to use the staircase if we wanted to go to each othe room which, by the way, was dirty. They have a metal detector at the entrance which is very noisy. The lobby is kinda smallish and gets cramped and busy at a times. Overall, it didn't feel like a 4* hotel, but more of a budget hotel. The house-keeping needs to improve and so the room cleanliness."

"When checking out, I waited for more than an hour before someone came to help me with the luggage. When I reached the car, I discovered that some of my belongings were missing. I asked them to check, and they eventually brought them back. If I had been in a hurry and hadn’t noticed, I would have lost those items — especially since the missing bag contained mobile phones. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms and restaurant are excellent. However, the luggage handling service is very poor. They tend to hide items during checkout, especially small bags, assuming you won’t notice. This is unacceptable."

CCongmingdexiongxiong2010We arrived at the hotel at midnight, exhausted as a family of three. The front desk swiftly and smoothly processed our check-in. The room was spacious, with two 1.5m double beds. With a ”stay two, get one free” offer, this is probably the best value Mandarin Oriental hotel globally, although the room we stayed in had no view. Acceptable, though. We loved the hotel's location; the neighborhood has a strong old-money vibe, and it was very comfortable during the day with almost no one around. Although it was hot, there was almost always shade. Locals started coming in the evenings, making the area more lively at night with numerous restaurants. We ate there for three days and didn't have a single bad experience. The M7 Art Museum is directly opposite the hotel, though it usually doesn't have any exhibitions. It's a 12-minute walk to Václav, and the walk along the way is very pleasant. All the staff were extremely friendly.

TTee__I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chedi Katara in Doha, Qatar, and I can wholeheartedly say that this resort is a gem of refined luxury and warm hospitality. The relaxed atmosphere instantly put me at ease, and every aspect of my visit—from the immaculate surroundings to the attentive service—exceeded my expectations. Our celebration was memorable. we had initially booked a beach access room and a double room, but thanks to the thoughtful gestures of the staff, we were upgraded to a stunning villa. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Amel and Abdusalem at reception for their exceptional service and for making our special occasion even more remarkable. Additionally, I must commend Azmal for the fantastic house tour, which showcased the exquisite design and thoughtful details of the property. A warm thank you is also due to Dennis and King, who greeted us with their ever-present smiles and friendly demeanour at the door. I also appreciate the efforts of the two staff members on the club cars, whose names I unfortunately cannot recall, and to Richard for his attentive assistance throughout our stay and wonderful conversation and hospitality + tour around Katara village. The culinary experience was equally impressive. I had the opportunity to enjoy an Iftar during Ramadan that featured a seemingly endless array of delicious dishes, and the breakfast spread was equally sumptuous with plenty of choices to suit every palate. The beach house exuded great vibes and added to the overall charm of the resort. In summary, I cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at The Chedi Katara. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable stay marked by exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and a truly relaxing ambience.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Al Najada for 7 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful, assisted us in every way we needed. Early check-in was not possible (we arrived at around 11am), but it didn’t sour our spirits. We booked a deluxe room, it was very spacious and came with a balcony, all amenities were included. Room was cleaned almost daily, at some point staff took one of the bathrobes and didn’t bring a clean one. Breakfast could’ve been better, in my opinion, food options were a bit limited, but, overall, still quite okay. You will not walk away hungry. The location is top notch! It’s right next to Souq Waqif, which is a traditional local market, there are lots of cafes/restaurants/shops there. There are 2 metro stations within the walking distance. Msheireb district (short walk away) was my personal favorite. Definitely will book this hotel next time I’m in Doha.

SSINGHFAMILYWe the SINGH family from the UK (consisting of me and my wife, along with 2 adult sons) stayed at Double Tree by Hilton Al Sadd Hotel in Doha, for 4 nights, during a recent multi country trip family holiday, and truly enjoyed the experience. The front security officers (eg. Moses, Jacob) were always happy, respectful and courteous in doing their jobs. The front desk staff (including Houssem, Krishna, Job, to name a few), were welcoming, efficient and helpful, and always called out or waved, and stopped for friendly chat. It was a great pleasure to actually meet with Renata who had been very proactive in answering all of my email questions prior to our booking with the hotel and assuring me that our pure vegetarian food requirements (ie. No meat, fish or eggs or dishes containing any of these items) for breakfast items would be fully met by the restaurant team. The restaurant team were absolutely fantastic. Mitzie welcomed us every morning into the restaurant for breakfast and always checked to ensure everything was ok, etc. Rony especially took care of all our dietary needs and always went above and beyond his role, and surprised us with at least one new item each morning, such as special healthy fruit power-shot or fruit juice or special dishes made to order and served us tea the way we like it. Chef’s Karan and Yousef made time to come and speak with us and offer other dishes. Basanta, Rhea and Nisha also looked after us very well and always stopped to offer advice on places to visit etc and discuss our plans for the day. Housekeeping staff (including Saibu, Jamuna, Horace, Sanjeev) were amazing and super friendly, and checked if we needed anything extra. Horace and Sanjeev surprised us several times with amazing art work of a lotus flower and pair of swans made from rolled towels - absolutely brilliant! So many special memories of this hotel and staff members, that we will treasure for a long time, and also captured on camera. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE (I AM SURE I HAVE MISSED MANY NAMES), FOR MAKING OUR STAY SO AMAZING AND MEMORABLE. Another positive is that the hotel is very conveniently located for transport modes - taxi and metro station, and local shopping facilities and restaurants. We found a fabulous pure vegetarian Indian restaurant called Bhojan as well as a Tofu House only one street away - 5 minutes walk from the hotel.. So definitely 5 stars plus for this hotel, staff and its convenient location.

The hotel offers excellent facilities and is very well located—just a short walk from the metro station and close to many main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What impressed me most was the staff: they were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha for either business or leisure. Great value for money and an overall pleasant experience!

They gave us coupons for their affiliated beach, but we weren't allowed to bring snacks from our bag into the beach. It would have been better if we had known this beforehand.
