Cleanliness: Relatively clean and comfortable.
This was my second stay, but the Indian female receptionist at the front desk was not as friendly as the one we had during our first visit. We requested a higher floor, and this room type is typically on floors 2 to 4, but she insisted on putting us on the 2nd floor. The other staff members, including the cleaners, were as friendly and welcoming as ever."

Outstanding
GGuest UserIt was great! We arrived very early ( before 7:30am ) and never expected our room ( superior room double queen ) to be ready. But indeed the night manager was there to extend a very warm welcome and served us drinks and damp towels to freshen up , then proposed to show us another room if we were interested so we had a choice. So he brought us to view both---the one we originally booked and a one bedroom apartment in another building that he thought we might want to see. We found the latter more spacious and brighter and the affable manager immediately offered us a complimentary upgrade even before we made our decision. So we eventually went for the apartment and within minutes all our suitcases were brought up.
The nice apartment has a living room cum a dining area , and a small balcony. There is an open kitchen with complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge, plus assorted tea sachets and coffee capsules. Fresh bottled water replenished daily and it were the little things they put after housekeeping left that made the stay extra comfy e.g. the little book mark placed on one of our books, or extra velcro ties for our cables and chargers casually lying around the desk.
The main bathroom is spacious with all the toiletries daily replenished while there is a separate toilet at one end. In the living room there is a nook with a desk and stationery, plus all the cables and cords for any type of phones and gadgets.
We never had to ask for iron and ironing board because they were already provided, placed inside the wardrobe. The safe was not functioning properly ---failed to lock when we first checked in, but soon they sent some technician up and got it fixed the next day.
Bedding is starched white , very clean and very white. Air con is at a comfy temperature although it was over 44C when we were there it was never too uncomfortably chilly.
Concierge is pleasant and helpful and UBER taxis are convenient.
There is a Harrods cafe just down the hotel pathway, a rough 3-4 minutes walk , plus other restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlours in the area. There is a Chinese restaurant that is under MO that boasts the best Chinese cuisine in Doha.
The Souq Waqif is within walking distance, but the place only comes alive after 5pm when the sun is less scorching. In the day time hardly a soul is found on the streets. People just flock to malls. There in the souq you can find rows and rows of shops selling herbs and perfumes, clothes and shoes, as well as restaurants, cafes , grocery stores and souvenir shops.
MO Doha is in a safe area even after midnight because at night there are security guards stationed at almost all street corners where the streets all link up and lead you back to the hotel. Doha people are friendly and nice , and Doha is a very disciplined and safe place so there is no problem for anyone , or specifically women , to venture out on their own any time of the day or night.
MO Doha certainly has top security at every entrance and exit , the hotel is very clean and comfortable albeit the shower could be a bit more powerful. All in all, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

GGuest UserI booked this for my daughter and husband first wedding anniversary. They said it was amazing the club lounge everything for everyone from morning till night. The room filled with balloons and fresh rose petals in a heart shape on the bed and to top it off a wedding anniversary cake. The hotel facilities could not fault the pool the beach everything they experienced made their anniversary so special and memorable.

TTee__I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chedi Katara in Doha, Qatar, and I can wholeheartedly say that this resort is a gem of refined luxury and warm hospitality. The relaxed atmosphere instantly put me at ease, and every aspect of my visit—from the immaculate surroundings to the attentive service—exceeded my expectations.
Our celebration was memorable. we had initially booked a beach access room and a double room, but thanks to the thoughtful gestures of the staff, we were upgraded to a stunning villa. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Amel and Abdusalem at reception for their exceptional service and for making our special occasion even more remarkable.
Additionally, I must commend Azmal for the fantastic house tour, which showcased the exquisite design and thoughtful details of the property. A warm thank you is also due to Dennis and King, who greeted us with their ever-present smiles and friendly demeanour at the door. I also appreciate the efforts of the two staff members on the club cars, whose names I unfortunately cannot recall, and to Richard for his attentive assistance throughout our stay and wonderful conversation and hospitality + tour around Katara village.
The culinary experience was equally impressive. I had the opportunity to enjoy an Iftar during Ramadan that featured a seemingly endless array of delicious dishes, and the breakfast spread was equally sumptuous with plenty of choices to suit every palate. The beach house exuded great vibes and added to the overall charm of the resort.
In summary, I cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at The Chedi Katara. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable stay marked by exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and a truly relaxing ambience.

The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel truly special. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide selection of fresh, high-quality options served in a stunning setting. The pool and spa area offer a peaceful escape, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Doha. This is a hotel that goes beyond expectations. If you love design, luxury, and exceptional service, Mondrian Doha is an absolute must. We can’t wait to return.

AAnonymous UserI was in transit here. The hotel is right in the heart of the old town, with many cafes next door, and the Elan and Mandarin Oriental are all nearby. The hotel is great. I arrived at 10 a.m. and checked in immediately, knowing checkout would be midnight. The room was clean and beautiful, with a great view. The hotel spa is a must! Highly recommended. I'll definitely stay here again on my next layover.

One of the highlights of my stay was the outstanding range of facilities. The Olympic-sized swimming pool provided a refreshing retreat, perfect after a long day, and the fully equipped health club made it easy to maintain my fitness routine. Dining options were plentiful too, with a variety of international cuisines alongside local Arabic dishes, and I especially enjoyed the in-room dining experience offered by the hotel’s signature restaurant.

BBerezhnaWe stayed at the Hotel for two weeks and my friend and I would highly recommend it. The location is perfect, close to everything we needed, and the staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. Every query we had was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
A special mention goes to Aziz at reception, who showed outstanding professionalism throughout our stay. We’re truly grateful for his assistance and warm approach.
Overall, a wonderful experience — we would happily return.
