"Staying at this hotel was an unexpected bonus. I hadn't originally booked this one; I'd booked another for an early flight, but wasn't happy with it upon arrival. So, I quickly searched for airport hotels, read the reviews, and decisively chose this one. It turned out to be an excellent choice, surprisingly satisfying. I always used to think airport hotels would be noisy, but this wasn't at all. The environment was great. While the price was a little on the higher side, it included a buffet breakfast and a complimentary VIP security fast track pass. Imagine staying at an airport hotel, walking just five minutes – about 300 meters – to the security checkpoint. For someone catching an early flight, being able to sleep an extra hour in the morning is absolutely fantastic. What's more, if you're staying at this hotel and need to check in luggage, you can do it right downstairs at the hotel – no need to jostle with crowds, and they handle everything for you. Even more special is that their breakfast starts at 5:30 AM, knowing that people need to catch flights. This is a huge thumbs-up compared to other hotels where breakfast starts at 7 AM, meaning you often book it but can't eat it. This service and design truly make you feel like your stay is worthwhile. The room facilities are also excellent; the shower and toilet are separate, which means if two people are staying, they won't disturb each other. The front desk service was also exceptionally good and very thoughtful, providing details about breakfast, how to get to your gate, and so on. The panda design in the guest room corridors was also very unique and showcased Chengdu's panda theme perfectly."

"We stayed at this hotel due to it proximity to the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport as we had an early morning flight. This hotel fit the bill, and worked out well for us. They had free movie channels which my daughter enjoyed and a good Chinese restaurant next-door where we had our last Sichuan meal for the trip. The staff upgraded us to two family rooms which we appreciated. The beds were comfortable which helped us get a good nights rest, however, being close to the airport, we appeared to be right under either planes, taking off or landing, as the roar of the engines was very loud. We could also hear noise from the adjacent rooms. It seemed that some of the guests had even earlier morning flights and were making noise at 4 AM which woke my wife and I up. That’s really the only complaint I had about the stay. We had a rental car which we were able to park next to the lobby, which made it quick and convenient to unload the car and repack everything before we headed out the next morning. Breakfast was simple and tasty, but no fresh brewed coffee, something for the hotel to think about adding in the future :)"

"Yunshang Huakai Hotel (Chengdu Tianfu International Airport) is very closed from the airport, there are only 10 minutes from airport by bus, the staff of hotel is very helpful to contact me since I have arrived on airport. The room is very clean. This hotel is appropriate for rest during flight transfer in Chengdu. The reasonable price for the booking price. "Super lovely hotel and only 15 minutes Didi from the Tianfu airport. It's located in a sports complex which is very quiet and quite unusual to wander around as there are only other airport guests around. The hotel room was clean with a super comfy bed, great shower, minifridge and a tea set to relax and enjoy. The Sichuan restaurant in the middle of the complex is super delicious and well-priced."

It was very convenient as there's a shuttle service to the airport around 5 AM, and they also offer pick-up service upon arrival. This really met my travel needs. I was initially worried about the accommodation environment and safety, but it turns out it's pretty good overall. Just a minor note, there were quite a few mosquitoes."
