"Stayed here for my son's birthday celebration. Arrived at 11am, registered and inform them regarding the birthdatly and was given one complimentary pass where we can redeem a slice of cake and small gift from the shop. We went straight to the Waterpark and hotel Whatsapp us when the room is ready. Aircond and music was on when we entered the room, and got a little surprise from the housekeeping, a nice birthday wish drawing on the mirror. Parking is free once we register. Breakfast is nice with a variety of selections. Buggy is available to get to the private beach at Westin. Overall it is a recommended stay with good service."

"The environment is beautiful and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly when I checked in, and every staff member had a warm smile, which made me feel very pleasant. The hotel facilities were all well-maintained and very clean. I had a special request for some decoration when booking, and the arrangement exceeded my expectations—it felt very thoughtful and ceremonial. The food at the hotel was also delicious, especially the buffet breakfast, which offered a wide variety of choices and was clean and hygienic. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back again."

"Room big and clean. But get set worn out the room due to wear and tear by inconsiderate guests
Not near beach but near makan and supermarket. The nearest mall not much, best walk along the shop houses
So eat till you drop no problem. But if shop for clothes, souvenir etc not much choice if you trendy type
Check in at 330 but was told no room available and cannot get same floor. Then I explained its 330 and need try their best as I yet to do my prayers. Then magic happen, room can appear and same floor some more. The check in process was slow, likely new boy and not guided well.
Amenities standard for a 4 star hotel. Pool and gym for act fit people. Those who want go beach can act fit and run there or 10 min drive for those unfit ones."

"I had a wonderful stay at Lotus Desaru Resort & Spa. The breakfast spread was excellent with plenty of variety, and the sea was clean and refreshing. The rooms were neat and comfortable, which made the stay pleasant.
That said, the resort hasn’t seen any major renovations in the past 13 years, and some of the same complaints still remain. The bird area also looks a little unkept — perhaps a bigger, better-maintained space would make it more enjoyable for guests. Another small suggestion is to have a larger TV in the living area since there’s only one television provided.
On a positive note, having a Starbucks franchise run by Lotus Resort on-site is a great addition and makes the stay even more convenient.
Overall, Lotus Desaru remains a good choice for families and groups, offering value and a relaxing environment. With nearby competition like Westin and Hard Rock, I do hope the resort invests in further upgrades to keep up with today’s standards."

"First time staying at Sands and Sandals resort and I think we would definitely visit again one day! Had a surprise decoration, thank you to the hotel staff for the balloons and cake and the beautiful set-up. Check in and check out was a breeze too, probably as we were not affected by the peak period.
Breakfast was good too! Our second morning was more crowded but there were more choices too and it wss delicious. Room was comfortable and everything is provided, like towels, bath essentials, dental essentials. The connection of the tv was also a bit iffy but we didn't mind.
Parking was also easy for us and location felt safe. Near to tourist attractions like Adventure Waterpark and Woodfire too!

"What a fantastic getaway! If you're looking to recharge, this is the perfect spot. It's beautifully secluded and surrounded by nature. Just a heads-up, there aren't any shops, bars, or restaurants nearby, so you won't be able to step outside the resort without a car. But the peacefulness is truly remarkable! You'll definitely enjoy the complete tranquility and can rely on the resort’s resources for everything you need."

"We want to say thank you to the whole team. We enjoyed with our children the time at the One&Only. We will come back. Thanks to Bruno and the whole team, everything works really well. We enjoyed also our tennis lessons, private yoga lesson and the tea time. The beach club and the Only Kids club are also great. Breakfast & Dinner at the main restaurant were also great."

"Located at the beachfront. Just get out of hotel and the beach is in front of you! It was a fantastic view of the beach from our room. In fact all rooms have a view of the beach.
Just next door (part of hotel premises?) is a great seafood restaurant which served good food at reasonable prices.
Staff were very friendly from the security guard post to doorman to front desk. Every staff we met greeted us :)
Breakfast was a big variety of items.
Only problem was the room toilet - it stank. Seems they did not clean it for several days. Hope the management looks into it. Otherwise it was a really enjoyable stay!"
