Four Points by Sheraton Desaru

Overall, the stay was pleasant. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made the experience enjoyable. However, the front desk staff did not seem welcoming and rarely smiled. Their attitude made us feel a little uncomfortable during check-in. It would be great if the hotel could improve the customer service experience to make guests feel more welcomed.

A great stay at Four Points Desaru. In terms of location, there are many useful shops located around the hotel like a supermarket, 24 hour minimart, pharmacy, bakery and even a floral/gift shop which I was able to surprise my partner with a bouquet. The service was also top notch with friendly staff and excellent housekeeping. Room was also clean and comfortable as expected. The breakfast buffet was very worth it with a large spread of food and all of it was delicious! Check out the amazing view too. The only qualm for me would be the TV which did not come with ‘smart’ functions. At this price point I would have expected a smart TV, but not very relevant as most of our time was spent outside the hotel too. Overall a very pleasant stay and my hotel of choice when I go back to Desaru again

quite far to beach but price point lower compared to beachfront properties otherwise all good no free parking for customer

As a retired couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Four Points by Sheraton for a short 3 days getaway. It was surrounded by shop houses and 10mins walk to SKS mall (2 storey tall only). The room was spacious and the service crew was exceptionally helpful. We appreciated the hotel accommodating our request for a room near the lift, though the trade-off was a less-than-ideal view facing the hotel rooftop. The breakfast selection was moderate, which was expected for the off-peak season. We particularly enjoyed our stroll at Desaru Beach; the hotel's free shuttle service is very convenient with three daily timings (9am, 12pm, and 5pm - for single trip only, however you may opt to set off at 9am and take the next shuttle bus at 12pm or 5pm back to hotel). We opted for the 5pm shuttle to catch the sunset, which was beautiful. The return journey via Grab was only 9 Ringgit, which we found very affordable. A great spot for a relaxing getaway. The best deal we found was having fresh Black Thorn durian and a cold, fresh coconut at a very reasonable price nearby.

Upon checking into the room, we noticed that no tissue was provided in the room area. The only tissue available was a used box of tissue in the bathroom (with no spare), along with two partially used tissue rolls (also without any replacement), which was quite surprising and not up to the expected standard of a four-star Marriott property. Additionally, we observed that the lamp’s plastic casing was broken, which is not something that should be presented in a room of this standard. Furthermore, we experienced a significant delay in guest services. We requested two additional water glasses via a call to Guest Services, and after waiting approximately 40 minutes, we had to call again to follow up. We were informed that the request was “on the way,” and it took an additional 4 minutes after the reminder call for the glasses to finally arrive, bringing the total waiting time to 44 minutes.

Convenient place to stay and suitable for families here. Eateries and mall are outside. However the probably the hotel room need some maintenance as i saw crack at bathroom. The breakfast is nice.. staffs are friendly.

1st impresion is the security are superb. They are veryw welcoming and polite!!! They try their very best to serve us. Front desk are good. The only negative for myself is need stronger or harder pillow. Otherwise all are ok. Gym room are well equip. Nearby have SKS mall, opposite have Marlee supermart. A lot of local eateries around. They have a small loudge to chill too. Overall, I am satisfied.

Location is not near any beach but very close to alot of amenities! There’s a supermarket right infront, laundry mat and nearby a lot of popular breakfast spots. (Eg. Kedai Kopi Otai and Kopitiam Desaru 51) even have nice cafes nearby like comma bakes.
