Nice kids club, nice atmosphere and nice foods. Just a bit wasteful in view of the closure of Ember beach.

Beautiful resort, luxurious villas. Free flow of snack and drinks - coke, sprite, beer and a welcome bottle of wine. I’m glad they promoted local snacks. Bed mattress was amazing. Had good sleep every single night. Peaceful settings for a recharge and reading. Restaurant wasn’t great. Limited food choices. Looking forward to the other restaurant opening in 2 months.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The villa was spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I especially liked the shower area. I also had lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the resort, and the food quality was excellent throughout

We enjoyed our anniversary staycation here alottt. Impressed with the hospitality of staff crew here, and the resort is so beautifully built, surrounded by nature. We will certainly come back again.

Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast is a great choice for a relaxing beach getaway. The resort is beautifully designed, surrounded by greenery, and offers a quiet, private beach. Rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with some featuring stunning sea views. Service is excellent—staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient. The breakfast is diverse and good quality, though dining prices are a bit high. The only downside is the remote location, with limited options outside the resort. Overall, perfect for a peaceful, luxurious stay.

A nice quiet property with some high quality facilities but seriously let down by very poor service and organisation. Asian food was great. spa great. Padel/Tennis courts great and staff great. For the price point it’s well below expectation  - staff not attentive or welcoming - food consistently forgotten/not ordered, every single meal - undercooked meals - room was forgotten to be cleaned - on average a 20 minute wait for a buggy A lot of improvements needed on staff training

100/10 would recommend this resort! It was so peaceful and uncrowded. Staff were really friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Room was amazing too. Food was also tasty and didn't have to travel out at all.

Stayed for one night and overall had a pleasant experience. The villa offers a peaceful environment, ideal for short getaways. The interior is modern and spacious, and the private pool was clean and well-maintained. - Quiet and relaxing location - Spacious rooms and nice design - Friendly staff and smooth check-in - Good amenities (private pool, etc.) Would recommend for couples or small families looking for a private, peaceful stay in Desaru. Will consider coming back for a longer stay next time.
