"Aston Review: I highly recommend everyone visiting Batam to stay at Aston! This is my second time in Batam, and my second stay at this hotel! ❤️ This time (August 29-31) was super busy; the hotel was almost fully booked, and some items at the breakfast buffet weren't replenished quickly enough. I hope the hotel can arrange more staff on weekends to ensure faster replenishment and replacement of food at the breakfast buffet, and more efficient cleaning! ✅ The air conditioning is very cold (when you check in and open the room door, the AC is already on and waiting for you!) ✅ The room is clean, tidy, and very spacious. ✅ There's a swimming pool, a huge gym (you can even train for HYROX!), a sauna, and massage services. ✅ Breakfast offers a very wide and rich selection! Many local Indonesian specialties, almost everything you can think of! ✅ International adapters are available for direct charging. ✅ Many TV channels, including CCTV, Phoenix Satellite TV, Celestial Movies, as well as Korean and Japanese channels. ✅ The bed is huge and incredibly comfortable! ✅ There's a refrigerator, a bathtub 🛁, and a safe. ✅ Very thoughtful! Simple anniversary decorations + a cake (we saw it right when we checked in and opened the door ❤️). ✅ Hotel staff help open doors and carry luggage. ✅ The hotel is right next door (to the right), just a 5-minute walk to Pisang Keju Terowongan – very affordable and freshly baked! Overall, I'm still very satisfied with my second stay! The next time I visit Batam, I will definitely consider staying at Aston again! ❤️"

We booked a stunning two-bedroom villa featuring its own private pool, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. The villa was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and offered the perfect sanctuary for a romantic getaway. Having a private pool just steps from our bed allowed us to enjoy quiet, intimate swims at any time of day, completely undisturbed.Inside the villa, the attention to detail was remarkable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and filled with natural light. One of the absolute highlights of the accommodation was the deep, luxurious bathtub. After a long day of exploring and activities, soaking in the tub became our favorite way to unwind and relax together. The housekeeping team deserves immense credit for keeping every corner of our villa pristine throughout our stay, ensuring we never had to worry about a thing.Beyond the beautiful room, our trip was packed with memorable experiences. We are a couple that loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, so we decided to try the ATV riding offered at the resort. It was an absolute blast. Racing through the trails together brought a fantastic rush of adrenaline and added an exciting, adventurous spark to our romantic vacation. The staff guiding the ATV experience were professional, safety-conscious, and made sure we had the best time possible.Of course, no luxury stay is complete without great food, and Montigo Resorts delivered perfectly on that front. Our package included a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, which quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The spread was incredibly generous, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the live cooking stations to the fresh pastries and tropical fruits. Starting our mornings together over a delicious, hearty breakfast with beautiful resort views set the perfect tone for the rest of our day.What made this trip truly amazing was how seamlessly the resort blended high-energy fun with peaceful romance. Whether we were splashing around in our private pool, getting mud-soaked on the ATV tracks, or relaxing in our spotless villa, every moment felt special. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel valued from check-in to check-out. It was the perfect escape for me and my fiancé, allowing us to connect, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy a flawless blend of luxury and adventure. We left Montigo Resorts feeling completely refreshed and deeply in love with the place, and we already cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay."

"Very convenient location, just next to the Batam ferry terminal! The room was very spacious, and we really appreciate the hotel accommodating our request for connecting rooms. 😊 Breakfast had a great variety of food, and the dancing entertainment really made our morning so much more enjoyable! 💃🕺 What impressed us the most was that the staff would even sing a special birthday song for guests celebrating their birthday during breakfast. 🎂🎶 Such a lovely and thoughtful touch! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our experience here. Highly recommended! 👍🏼."

"Not a new hotel... Previously occupied by Da Vienna Boutique hotel. New company take over by Ascott group rebrand to Fox. All new designs and furniture... Friendly Receptionist.. shout-out to Mas Adri.. friendly.. explained and give recommendations. Top notch service and personality from him. Room... Aircon not as cool as I wish... Central Aircon I guess... Shower be careful... Heater u turn left or right... Same temperature 🌡️🤒 Restaurants too much offering for breakfast quantity over quality But overall nice stay."

"Here is a warm and simple review you can use: We had a wonderful 1 night stay at Wyndham Panbil Batam! From the refreshing welcome drinks upon arrival to the fantastic discounts on our meals, the hospitality was top-notch. A huge thank you to the team for the wonderful surprise birthday room decor, a delicious birthday cake, and singing—it made the celebration so special. We also thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing spa package. Highly recommend for a getaway!"

"The hotel boasts five-star service facilities and a great location in the city center. Across the street, there's a basketball court perfect for a stroll. The rooms are clean, but the breakfast was disappointing – not very tasty, with limited options, and too crowded. I specifically booked this hotel for its gym, and it definitely delivered; the gym is really spacious and clean."

"Overall a great stay with fantastic views and amazing service! The room size was perfectly fine, and the single bed was plenty spacious for one person. The highlight was definitely the view—you can see the ferry terminal right from the window—and the clever mirror design in the room was a wonderful touch that really elevated the space. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, proactively helping with my luggage and opening car doors every time. However The pillow quality was average—it was quite high and firm rather than soft and plush, and leaning against it for a while made my back feel sweaty. The biggest bug for me, though, was the elevator system; there are no clear indicator lights or sound chimes when the elevator arrives, so I ended up missing it quite a few times. Despite these quirks, the view and service made it a very enjoyable stay. I’d also prefer bottled drinking water over the large filtered water dispenser provided, as washing glasses each time was a bit of a hassle."

"The location of the hotel was great, just a short 5 mins walk from the Habourbay Terminal. However, was rather disappointed by the service and facilities. (1) Room had a weird stale, musty smell when we first checked in to our room, but the smell eventually went away after 2-3h with aircon circulation. It was bearable but we could really use an air freshener. (2) We were not informed that the gym/pool had opening or closing times. There were also no signs indicating as such. When we tried to visit the gym at around 10pm, everything was already closed. (3) On the amenities, we had to make repeated checks receptionist that we can get a shaving razor and instant coffee. At first, the housekeeping didn't understand what we wanted. The first receptionist at the front desk simply just tried to waive us away by saying they are not available. It was only after we approached a second receptionist did they finally understood and brought it out for us. The shower gel also ran out after the first night and housekeeping did not refill it despite cleaning the room in the day. (4) The hotel spa, despite saying they were open for 24h and that a reservation was required, repeatedly told us to go to their counter at the 4th floor to check on availability. We went there and checked at least 6 times during our 3D2N stay and each time, we were told that there was no immediate availability but to come back at a later time instead. They also turned us away when we tried to make an advance booking. They could have saved time for everyone by just saying there was no availability and reservations were unavailable instead of asking us to come back every now and then. Overall, the service level was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There are better and cheaper hotel options around the Harbourbay area."

"I enjoyed the accessibility to Grand ESKA spa. The breakfast buffet was simple yet enjoyable and delicious. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Appreciated the front desk team for remembering us by face and asking how our day was daily. The hotel was refurbished. Even though old, the bed was good, firm and new and room was kept clean. The lift was rather dingy but it still got us up and down safely. Lastly, i personally enjoyed the quiet corners of the hotel. Loved the fact that our level was “child free” hence there werent kids shouting in rooms. I love children, but the hotel’s particular policy of no child in the room type we booked was pleasantly surprising. Will returned. Note: spa experience was on point too."

"⭐I had a wonderful stay at Eska Hotel. The hotel has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a full day of exploring Batam. One thing I really liked was the location. It’s conveniently close to K Square Mall, so getting food or doing a little shopping was very easy. Another highlight was the wellness experience. The hotel has its own spa and massage facilities, and guests even receive a complimentary 30-minute massage, which was such a nice surprise. It was a great way to unwind and definitely made my stay feel more special. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay with a peaceful ambience, convenient location, and wellness facilities, I highly recommend Eska Hotel. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Batam."
