"After a long journey from the Southern Hemisphere to the North, we finally arrived at the hotel. The ladies at the front desk were very polite, and check-in was smooth. We were exhausted and starving! But then, a problem arose: we didn't have a local number, so we couldn't order takeout. It felt like a bolt from the blue 😭. That's when Mei Zi, one of the front desk staff, appeared like an angel and offered to help us order food, rescuing us from our predicament. All in all, we were extremely satisfied (and touched 🥹) by her service. The room was great, the location was perfect, and the overall check-in experience was top-notch, offering excellent value for money. Our first impression of the Northeast – simply perfect 😍!"

"This grand hotel is truly a cut above your average budget hotel. We stayed on the 10th floor, which offered expansive views. The room itself was spacious and clean, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I brought my mom to Jilin for a concert, and staying here really elevated our experience. They offer free parking, and the breakfast was delicious. Both my mom and I were extremely satisfied."

"This hotel is excellent! We're foreigners, from Russia, and it was our first time visiting Songhua Lake. The New Story Suite Hotel made us feel right at home. All the staff were incredibly kind. There are so many fun spots in this hotel! Games, karaoke, and a restaurant are all on the -1 floor. I have three kids, so there were plenty of things for them to do. It was super convenient to bring the children here. My favorite part was the massage. I especially loved Mr. He (He Ruiyou). His hands are truly amazing! We'll definitely stay here again next time! (Original Russian review also provided): We stayed at this hotel during the New Year holidays with our large family (5 people: 2 adults and three children). We rented a large room, which was cozy and clean. We all felt comfortable in this spacious room, and there were enough beds for everyone. We loved everything about this hotel: the friendly staff, and the cleanliness was top-notch – we walked barefoot in the room. You can request room cleaning as needed. Downstairs, there's a hot water pool. The water is changed every three days. But what I liked most was the Tesla shuttle service to the mountain. And the most wonderful thing about this excellent hotel is the masseur He Ruiyou (that's his name in Chinese). After a day on the slopes, a massage from Mr. He is exactly what you need. He is the best masseur I've ever encountered."

"The room is spacious and decorated in a style that young people would appreciate. It's located in the mountains, so it was a bit chilly, but bearable. The view is quite nice, but the hotel service is just average, definitely not up to five-star standards. The restaurant's food, including breakfast, was also very ordinary – probably the most basic I've had. However, for the off-season and at this price, it offers good value for money. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would consider coming back."

"Overall, it exceeded my expectations—a definite thumbs up. I came to Northeast China to escape the summer heat, and this was my first time staying at a Radisson RED hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. I usually stay at Marriott or IHG properties, so I'm not very familiar with this brand. At a price point just over 300 [presumably CNY], I didn't have high expectations. Perhaps it's also because the Hyatt Regency Changchun didn't leave a great impression on me, making me even more inclined to recommend this Radisson RED. Regarding the room type, while the room isn't huge, the overall layout is very well-designed. The luggage rack and bar counter are combined to form a clever entryway. The toilet and shower are separate, which is excellent, and the facilities are all new. Then there are the hardware details: the glass doors for the toilet and shower have soft-close dampers, and the thick seals give it a premium feel. The service was also very professional. On my first night, due to a personal situation, I had to request a sheet change from the 7th-floor housekeeping staff late at night. From the front desk to the housekeeping attendant, everyone was excellent, and the process was smooth. A big thank you to Kiki, Holly, and the 7th-floor housekeeping staff on duty that night. And then there's breakfast. I initially thought that at this price point, it would only offer basic options, but it was far from perfunctory. For example, by the coffee machine, there was an ice bucket and water, making it easy to make my own iced Americano. The coffee beans were also good. Many high-end hotels essentially serve hot Americanos with ice for their 'iced' versions. This place didn't cut corners, which was another pleasant surprise. What truly astonished me is that, so far, there have been no service shortcomings, which is incredibly rare. From Capella to various Marriott hotels and even the Hyatt Regency Changchun, I can usually find flaws in the service, but not here. Additionally, the hotel's laundry room and gym are both excellent, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It perfectly meets my requirements, and I plan to stay for several more days. This hotel genuinely puts effort into what it does. As a regular user, I sincerely hope they continue to maintain this standard."

"This hotel definitely deserves a five-star review! It's the best service I've ever experienced in all the hotels I've stayed at for marathons. 1. They provided an extra 'cheer-up' kit (snacks and slippers). 2. On race day, they offered an additional bus service to the inspection point. 3. The location is superb, right at the start and finish line of the marathon. It's also very close to People's Square, the museum, Beishan Park, and the riverside. 4. The room was very clean and tidy. 5. It's great value for money; I booked early, so the price was excellent. 6. They offered a late check-out until 3 PM. 7. Breakfast started early at 4:30 AM, which was very convenient for us participants. Overall, it was fantastic!"

"I booked an executive room, but it didn't feel like 35 square meters; the room was quite small, and the decor looked dated. There's only one elevator, so going up to the fifth floor took ages. I wasn't very comfortable with my stay. The location is good though; everything you need is within a five-minute walk downstairs, and there's a night market in the evenings. What I dislike most about Atour is that for the price they charge, they still use disposable cups for drinking water – it just feels cheap."
