"Transiting back home from New Zealand, I stayed for one night, and the price, combined with points redemption, was quite good. The key highlight is the 24-hour airport shuttle service, which is fantastic in Australia where labor is so expensive. I really hope the hotel keeps this up! 😊 No reservation needed for the shuttle. After landing and collecting your luggage, just exit the airport, cross the first pedestrian crossing, and wait at the spot shown in Picture 1. The vehicle is very distinctive because it's branded with the hotel's logo. The wait was about 15-20 minutes. The hotel has its own restaurant, which I hear is quite good, but I was really craving Chinese food. You can order delivery via Uber Eats; delivery speeds here can be quite slow, so it's a good idea to order as soon as you land. I recommend using the hotel's front desk as your delivery point. There's also an IGA supermarket about an 8-minute walk away, so if it's not too late, you can do some last-minute shopping there."

"My experience at the Holiday Inn on Bourke Street, Melbourne was absolutely flawless. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city center, with Bourke Street Mall and tram stops right outside. It's within walking distance to Chinatown, the Royal Arcade, and the State Library, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. As a new establishment, all the facilities are brand new and spotless. The room layout is well-designed, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi signal is stable throughout. The front desk service is attentive and thoughtful, with Chinese-speaking staff available for seamless communication. The 24-hour luggage storage at the front desk is also a great convenience. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the gym is well-equipped. The overall environment is quiet and peaceful, with excellent soundproofing. It offers exceptional value for money for travelers and short-term stays. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Melbourne."

"The hotel is conveniently located very close to Southern Cross Station, just a few minutes' walk from where the SkyBus drops you off. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. There's a Coles supermarket and a McDonald's nearby, plus a food street in the vicinity. It's also incredibly convenient for public transport, with tram stops for routes 30, 35, 86, and 96 all within easy reach."

"The location is genuinely great, right in Chinatown. Downstairs, you can find anything you want to eat. It's a perfect spot for Chinese tourists because you can get Chinese food anytime. If you need a convenience store, there's one right next door. You can also head to Chinatown for noodles in the morning. Across the street, there's a theater currently showing a Michael Jackson musical. You can check in online in advance; they'll send you an email. I checked in at the front desk, and the Indian guy was very friendly. They gave me a high-floor room. The room size isn't big, but it's just right for one or two people. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and it's very clean. However, there's no complimentary bottled water or slippers, which really surprised me. The bathroom also lacks a bath mat, so be careful when showering. Otherwise, everything else is pretty good. The gym isn't large, but the equipment is sufficient, with plenty of machines for compound training. I didn't opt for breakfast because there are so many food options downstairs, all within walking distance. The lobby bar on the ground floor is lively in the evenings. Overall, the price-performance ratio is excellent, but many things are minimalist, like the lack of slippers and water. The location is good, and the comfort level is adequate. So, if you prioritize price and location, this place is a solid choice."

"Had a great stay at ibis Melbourne Central. The location is excellent, with many attractions, restaurants, and public transport options within walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it offered great value for money and made exploring Melbourne very convenient. I would happily stay here again on my next visit."

(where all the restaurants are here), QV mall (BigW, Woolworth), Melbourne central (Coles), Emporium (Rebel), state library - Staffs are very friendly and helpful. "Beautiful souls 🤍 I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. What I appreciated most was the ease of everything… No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations. A couple of things to note: It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups. "Considering the price, this hotel is clean and the front desk staff are very efficient. Breakfast was also better than expected. My only slight complaint is regarding the shuttle bus to T2 in the morning. The bus was over capacity, with more people than available seats. To avoid sending another vehicle, they actually made an eleven-year-old child sit on a parent's lap, claiming it was perfectly safe."
